The staff name Shukri at front desk should'nt become a front desk officer. No respect to customer, very bad body languange, voice tone so rude when speaking to guest, not only toward me. Most concierge staff far much better customer service rather then this particular front desk officer. Overall stay was good except that particular staff attitude.

Opened in December 2014, it's generally OK, but the first floor doesn't have security checks like other 5-star hotels, and the room details are still lacking, maybe because it's still relatively new, but after staying for 7 nights, I can see that it's slowly improving. The bar on the top floor is not big, and the swimming pool closes early. Overall, it's a bit worse than other old brands of the same price, but the breakfast is very rich!

First of all, the hotel is historical, suitable for taking pictures, and the pool is good. Now talking about the disadvantages, the power supply in the room is very unreasonable, you need to use a large plug-in board (provided by the hotel), the bedding is too old, the bed is a bit collapsed, and it will ring when it turns over! And the most unbearable are crows and mosquitoes! Too many mosquitoes. I was awakened in the middle of the night and asked for mosquito coils at the front desk. Eating breakfast is more scary. Sitting in the house is too dim. Sitting outside and biting mosquitoes to coax the crow! Hurry up for breakfast and each person was bitten by five or six bales! Still sprayed with insect repellent! The crow fell on the back of his chair twice! Experience the worst breakfast ever! The hotel restaurant and lounge are very beautiful, it is recommended to have a drink and take a picture, not recommended if staying

We stayed at this hotel for our first two nights in Sri Lanka. Check in was a breeze and the staff was very helpful and gave us great service. Room service was devine and we were hooked on the locally made kottu . Dinner and breakfast the next day was also very good with a variety of foods to choose.
