Quite a basic and functional room. Opens to outdoor area. Has indoor and outdoor pools and a fitness room/gym. Amazingly powerful shower and clean high spec hotel common areas. A solid 3 star hotel with free parking as a bonus for this area.

Super multi generational family break. Hotel has been modernised since our last visit. Warm outdoor pool, fab food, friendly service and great value. We couldn’t fault a thing. Just a short walk away along the Tarka trail is Barnstaple, which is a lovely market town.

Hotel comfortable good beds very good food loverly attentive staff but the sea gulls on the roof opposite the hotel didn’t understand the need for peace and quiet at night time Would stay again but on the other side of hotel

Disappointed with hotel access and situation, felt like being on an industrial sight. Service was excellent, food was very good, breakfast brilliant, cleanliness very good and facilities excellent. Little disappointed with room, the main reason being very poor soundproofing through inner locked connecting door to next room. Due to noisy neighbours until 2.30 am we had very little sleep.

This is honestly the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in. As a family of 5 this is one of the few hotels that can cater for us without having to have two rooms. We stayed in the Taw Suite and it was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. The food in the evening and for breakfast was excellent and we felt so well looked after by the staff throughout. An added bonus was the gorgeous warm pool. What an amazing place. We hope to be back again. Thanks for a wonderful stay - only wish we’d been able to stay longer!

The hotel is surprisingly. From the outside you don't expect much as on an industrial estate next to bowling and burger king, however once inside the location is irrelevant, the hotel has good facilities and a lovely garden where the outside swimming pool is. The decor is nice, we stayed in the Bray suite and the mattress was good quality enabling a good night's sleep. Good location for visiting other areas

We stayed for one night on a short trip to North Devon with the kids. The hotel was immaculately clean and the staff were lovely. We didnt eat at the hotel as we had made reservations elsewhere. The hotel swimming pools really made this trip for us, such a lovely way to spend a sunny afternoon!
