I can't praise this place enough. The surroundings (stunning) the hotel, staff, food...all of it was wonderful. Our room was huge and the bed was amazingly comfortable. The staff were lovely, especially the Romanian lady who served us for dinner. We only live 15minutes away but felt like we were on a real holiday. Thanks for welcoming us, and can't wait to return very soon

Wow - what quality what great service! I was taken there by a friend who had reserved a table for lunch and what a delight it was. I had not been to Corse Lawn before so the joy of the experience came as a surprise. From the moment we walked in the door we were looked after perfectly by the attentive and courteous staff. The lunch menu was varied and interesting. I started with endive, blue cheese and walnuts which was excellent. That was followed by perfectly cooked fish served with a variety of vegetables. It was a feast and all washed down with a couple of glasses of Riesling. The service at table was exemplary and the whole visit a great pleasure. I now need to take my wife there!

We liked the country house style of this hotel with the somewhat rotund labrador greeting us in the front hall together with very helpful and friendly staff! The bedroom was comfortable and not too modern. We dined on the two nights we were staying and found the food excellent with a nicely varied menu. As this was Cheltenham week we loved the racing buzz and found the hotel conveniently placed for the course. We will return!

Not the first time we have stayed here and like the last time we were on a special deal of Bed, Breakfast & Evening Meal. Staff are wonderful as is the food, however the hotel is in desperate need of some serious decorating! Far to many water marks on the ceilings, damaged skirting boards & dado rails.

This hotel is simply lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves from the moment we checked in until the moment we left. The food was absolutely top notch, Service was fantastic and a really well stocked well thought out wine menu with great prices. Our room was large and very clean with a very comfy bed. There are small issues (very weak shower with cold water even when turned up to HOT!) but these are outweighed by the simple elegance and the staff who were fantastic. Myself and my husband visited for his birthday and we would absolutely visit again! Go and see for yourselves!

We stayed at the Corse Lawn Hotel with Secret Places and, overall, were well satisfied with the experience. If the hotel is somewhat frayed at the edges (peeling paint in some places, visible wood filler in others) and while there were ******* with our room (very cold at first, a flat and uncomfortable couch cushion, a duff lavatory flush mechanism), most of these were sorted out on notification by apologetic and helpful staff. The bathroom was spacious and clean and came with the usual complimentary shampoo, soap and conditioner, but the shower was a little weak. All else was fine. There room had a small fridge and we liked the complimentary fruit bowl and lovely home-made biccies. Breakfast was good and dinner (served on hot plates: wonderful!!), a limited menu because of our Secret Places contract, was often delicious. Service was quick and polite. A post-dinner drink in a comfortable lounge with a blazing fire added to the pleasure. In sum, we enjoyed our stay at Corse Lawn and would happily recommend the place.

The hotel is in a really excellent location. Not too far off the M5, but in countryside, and set way back from a main road. It is calm and peaceful. There are many acres of grounds, so it is a perfect dog friendly destination. Both breakfast and evening dinner were really excellent. Lovely food and served by polite and dedicated servers. The rooms are dated, but the beds (we stayed twice, in two different rooms), were large and very comfortable, with lovely pillows. The bathroom towels were large and soft. Bathrobes are a lovely touch. The bathrooms desperately need updating. Both bathrooms we had left a lot to be desired, with neither having a decent usable shower. All in all, we had two really lovely stays, but the bathrooms need to be updated as a matter of priority. Hence the 4 stars.

Spent a Sunday night here and it was fab. Even though it was extremely quiet, we were very well looked after. Room was very comfortable. Food was excellent (ate from the 2/3 course special menu). Wine selection good. We couldn't have been made more welcome. The hotel is short way out of Tewkesbury and the area very quiet which was just what we were hoping for.

We have visited many times over the years and this time our booking (4 persons) was for Afternoon Tea on Fathers Day. The booking was a very good experience by email with a prompt reply and very friendly! We have in the past called by when passing for tea/coffee scones and the hotel has always very helpful and accommodating. On this visit during a heatwave the weather was very humid and unfortunately due to a storm pre arrival we were seated just inside but the door was open and we could still see out to the pond. Wonderful afternoon tea and service as per usual (scones were lovely and warm straight out of the oven). I will mention here that the hotel still holds all of its charm! After a visit to the ladies very pleased to still see crisp white hand towels high end soap/hand cream etc and that finishing touch of the full length mirror. ( I do tend to judge facilities much to my husband’s amusement and have been known to refuse to eat /drink somewhere if the ladies are not regularly checked and up to standard because after all what would the kitchen be like?) By the time our delicious fresh food had been eaten the seats outside seemed to be a little dryer, we had ordered extra coffee/drinks and decided to carry our teapot etc outside. What an enjoyable hour watching the wildlife sat next to the pond. My husband now in his later life has happy memories from previous visits, sat in this spot with his own mother and also with our children growing up. Thankyou Corse Lawn House Hotel he said it was a Wonderful Fathers Day!
