We stopped for lunch when passing at lunchtime. Last time we ate here was 2016 and not so good! This time, the food was great, service faultless - no complaints. We ate in the conservatory which was fairly busy. Will happily recommend and will be back soon.

Had a lovely meal in the restaurant of the Red House Hotel, today. The service was friendly & efficient. Food was plentiful & very well prepared. My husband had the Cullen Skink which was creamy & had lots of fish in it - really tasty! We both had the beef main meal which was delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal! Will be back.

Stayed two nights at this comfortable friendly hotel. A very pleasant stay from beginning to end. Spoke with an extremely helpful pleasant member of staff, Jade on the phone re my mobility requirements. Very very helpful. A very warm welcome from Jade when we arrived to check in. Had an evening meal in the hotel, excellent too. Our waitress we thought was no other than Jade. However when we said are you here all day and night, she laughed and explained that she has a twin sister called Zoe. The twins are an absolute delight and both looked after our every need. The room was warm and comfortable and I have no hesitation in recommending The Red House. We are going back in July!!

Arrive at the hotel for a birthday , and a spur of the moment booked a room at short notice . A room was available and what a room it was . The price also included a full Scottish breakfast . The staff was so friendly and so help full a would stay there again

After an emergency stop over due to adverse weather we managed to stay at Red House, excellent friendly staff and our meals were superb. Rooms were toasty, spacious, very clean and everything we wanted. Big breakfast was great before we started back on our travels.

Mattress was as hard as concrete no heating on in room breakfast onn1st day was OK but second day was cold room was very.cold. walking past.loads of sickness heading for morning breakfast no hot water in bathroom avoid uess u like it rough

I stayed for one night this week, Plenty of parking very easy check in. I was on my own but allocated a double room which was very spacious clean and well equipped. The only downside is the room next door was only separated by a door and a very thin wall which meant I could hear every single sound. I had an excellent evening meal and breakfast was just as good

I can honestly say from the moment we arrived we were looked after impeccably. The staff were welcoming and very efficient. We were served with drinks immediately, and soon after our meal order was taken. The food arrived quickly and was delicious. I could honestly not find any fault with the service or the food. This is the best service and food that we have had for a long time and we eat out regularly. The restaurant was very busy however there was ample staff on duty to combat this. I cannot rate the Red House highly enough. Well worth a visit. We will definitely be back soon.

Not impressed and won't be going back. The garlic bread with cheese starter was three slices of the kind of frozen garlic bread slices you get from a freezer shop and it was covered in cheddar cheese (should have been mozzarella according to the menu). It was greasy and inedible. The lentil pie with sweet potato was just that; lentils and potato. Not much imagination or flavour and the veg was bland. And since when was clotted cream vegan? Having been at the Dalmore the night before, this meal was so disappointing. The service was very good though and there is plenty of parking.
