A good old grand dame hotel. Room is updgraded and come with a decent bathtub. One can enjoy soaking in the hotel bathtub after a tiring trip!! BTW, the breakfast buffet at next door hotel is a steal at RMB 40. Pls do not miss it.

Easy to get to from the traoin station and very amiable staff. I would stay here again.

Very good old style hotel in a very beautiful building with nice gardens and fountains in front of it. It is located outside the city walls, but with very easy and quick (10 min) access to it by bus or taxi. It is at walking distance to VoVo Park, a reasonably good shopping mall with very good food options. The room was quite spacious and comfortable, clean and well equipped. Staff is very nice and helpful.

The room was nice, but a little old. The shower didn't have water pressure. Location convenient from the train station and for Yungang Grottoes by bus. The staff was also friendly and one person could speak English.

It was a very nice trip for us. The breakfast was good with a lot of options.

Just outside the old town but not too far. Very comfortable beds. Extremely comfortable and had a great sleep. Overall very pleasant hotel and nice roon

I am very satisfied with all aspects. It is about 11 minutes by bike from the ancient city. It is quiet and clean. There is a welcoming uncle in the lobby who is very kind. He saw us when we came in and out and introduced us to places for fun. Highly recommended!

My wife and I went to Datong for a trip and booked the Datong Hotel, which we had long admired. Because it was the place where the beloved Premier Zhou stayed, our generation has a nostalgic complex. After checking in, Datong Hotel was really great 👍👍👍 The service was thoughtful, the environment was elegant, the garden was beautiful, the breakfast was rich, everything was good, especially the old manager and the waitress in the lobby were kind and treated us like family. I will stay at Datong Hotel next time I come to Datong. Thank you again!!!

Datong Hotel has a good location, complete facilities, first-class service, and a clean and hygienic hotel. The room attendants are warm and thoughtful, and the lobby attendants are also very enthusiastic and take the initiative to introduce local attractions and bus routes, which is very heartwarming.
