The room I booked was a king-size bed room with an inner window. I ordered an upgrade, but the front desk said it was useless. I finally paid for a window room on site.
As soon as I entered the room, it was close to Guanchang Road. The sound insulation of the glass was very poor. The trucks were noisy all night. It was better to have an inner window room at least.
As soon as I entered the room, I saw the dust on the hanger. It was such an obvious place. I saw it at the first sight when I entered the room. Can't I wipe it? It hasn't been wiped for at least a week.
The breakfast was OK. Although there were not many varieties, the hotel was not expensive after all. It was clean and hygienic and I could eat enough.

Because I was suspended for a day while passing by, I redeemed my Ctrip points for this hotel. The price of the hotel is affordable, the ventilation is very good, and there is no cigarette smell in the room. Although there were some minor problems with the items in the room at the beginning, the front desk immediately sent someone to deal with it, and they were very prompt and sincere.
It can be regarded as a place where I personally feel that people can live with peace of mind among the fast hotels.
The hotel is not far from the Songshan Lake Scenic Area, about a 15-minute drive. If you are looking for a quick accommodation with a beautiful price and no need for breakfast, I recommend this hotel to stay temporarily.

The service staff are warm and considerate. From the thoughtful guidance when checking in to the response to needs during the stay, they are extremely efficient. The hotel restaurant has rich and delicious dishes and a variety of breakfast options. The location is superior, the transportation is convenient, and the surrounding facilities are complete. From the moment I arrived, I noticed the soothing music playing throughout the hotel, creating a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The entire hotel also smelled wonderful, which added to the overall pleasant experience.Although I don't speak Chinese and the staff didn't speak English, they were incredibly kind and went out of their way to assist me. They helped me navigate various things, like arranging taxis and giving me suggestions on where to go. Their willingness to help despite the language barrier was truly impressive.The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, offering a wide variety of options. Most importantly, the room was spotless, which is something I value greatly. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a peaceful, clean, and friendly place to stay.

The Ibis Hotel in Dongguan is a hidden gem. This is our second time staying at this hotel, and we will definitely choose it again for our future visits to Dongguan. We opted for the panoramic room, which offers a bit more space. The room is well-equipped with all the essentials. Considering the price you pay, the value is exceptional. The breakfast provided is not only delicious but also offers a wide variety of options at a very reasonable price. The reception staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. We adore this hotel and will definitely be returning in the future.

The working desk, desk light and chair and not suitable for working sustained periods of time (chair too low, light did hold position and table round and not practical). I did ask the hotel if they could help and although they were very willing, they didn't manage to find a solution.
Also, whilst they are very willing to help, there were many employees that didn't speak fluent English so everything took a long time to explain - from problems to room service. This point about the room service was aggravated by the fact that the ordering process should be done via scanning a QR code on WeChat which then runs an ordering program however this program is ONLY in Chinese so unless you are fluent in Chinese, you will find out after going through the whole process that you need to call the front desk, try to find somebody who can speak English and order that way.
It is a nice place just not very focused on international travelers.

GGuest UserRecently renovated and they have done a great job - especially the lobby and restaurant. The rooms are large and well equipped but they are very mean with the tea/coffee giving just 1 small coffee sachet (enough for half a cup) but providing 2 cups. However, they are happy to send extra but in the standard of hotel you should not need to ask.
RIP the mini bar - they used to have a great mini bar with snacks, wine/beer etc. Now it is a fridge with a couple of bottle of soft drinks.
On the subject of alcohol - the old Carmens bar which had several pool tables and a relaxed atmosphere - has now closed and replaced with what is intended to be a lobby bar but looks more like a bottle museum. The lighting is way too bright for a bar - it's pretty much floodlight so if you want a nice cozy relaxing drink forget it. They have a trolley full of great booze tucked away in the side room - various spirits, liqueurs. They need to set them up on the virtually empty shelves and at least try and make it look like bar. Final gripe is the staff in this brilliantly lit bar have zero interest in what they are doing. Not a single smile or any expression of anything on both evenings I was there. Just a blank stare then back to the phone screen.
The breakfast was excellent as were the staff - very helpful and smiley. Front desk were also great. However, to be considered of a International standard (they plan to join a major chain soon) they really need to improve spoken English

The bed is very big and comfortable. The most important thing is that the weather is too cold. The hotel has heating. It’s a great stay. It's still very comfortable. VVipin Seth Xie WeipingMost of the experience was good in terms of rooms facilities and cleanliness etc. But service was the food is big question. There was no menu in the room. English speak staff was a big challenge.
I ordered food twice. In the afternoon time the food served was not warm enough. The Spaghetti Bolognaise the sauce wasn't confident and the meat mince was very tough. The Malaysian curry rice was nice. The Fruit platter was also okay...though the selection of fruits was very limited.
The dinner time, was even worse, they did not serve my ordered dish, they could not cancel the order, the replacement they gave to us was not cooked properly did not taste good. Both the soup were okay. moreover the communication with the hotel staff wasn't comfortable. if they did not have a particular dish they should have removed it from the digital menu and if not should have been able to cancel the order. The alternative to the dish was very ordinary. In total I spent over RMB 546 on food. I think it wasn't worth the money spent. So, Good location, cleanliness and facilities ..but service and quality of food...not good...so, a lot of improvement can be done.

GGuest UserThe best hotel in town! Very good western breakfast. Very clear environment. There is a great restaurant with Japanese cuisine. The downside for a hotel of such a high standard is that the staff does not speak English.

A very big disadvantage in the cold season - the central air conditioning system of the hotel does not support the heating function and you will simply freeze in your room. Once upon I spent a few weeks in winter in this hotel, they provided me with 3 mobile heaters and this was the only way I could escape the cold.

EElenaThe hotel looks beautiful, renovated, nicely decorated and facilitated. The furniture is very decent, according to the classic style of the hotel. The cleaning service is extraordinary.The breakfast provided could be more assorted and decent. Gym is pretty old, however it's convenient. The steam room and the sauna are too small, could be arranged better. The communication with the staff in English is very problematic, but electronic dictionaries saved us many times. Overall we were very satisfied with the hotel and will be back if we have still things to do with at Dongguan.

The projection TV has the same audio and video experience as a theater, but unfortunately it automatically shuts down after about half an hour, which is not pleasant!
The place is spacious and fully equipped.
The front desk does not provide full-time support. If you have a domestic phone call, there will be no problem.
