Metropolo Classiq Hotels in Dongguan

I am very satisfied with the physical experience. Firstly, the hotel's service is impressive, and the front desk staff Jessica is always enthusiastic, friendly, and helpful. They quickly solved any of my problems and made me feel at home. The comfort of the room is also impressive, with soft and comfortable beds, spacious and bright rooms, and complete facilities. I particularly enjoy the facilities in the room, especially the luxurious bathroom and top-notch toiletries. The hotel's catering service is also excellent. Breakfast offers a wide variety of choices, and you can taste fresh and delicious food every day. The staff always maintain high efficiency, allowing me to start a wonderful day every day. In addition, the location of the Intercontinental Hotel is very convenient, with many attractions and shopping centers around, making it an ideal choice for both business and leisure travel. Overall, my stay experience was very pleasant, and I would not hesitate to recommend the Intercontinental Hotel to other travelers. Thank you to the entire team for bringing me such an unforgettable time!

Recently renovated and they have done a great job - especially the lobby and restaurant. The rooms are large and well equipped but they are very mean with the tea/coffee giving just 1 small coffee sachet (enough for half a cup) but providing 2 cups. However, they are happy to send extra but in the standard of hotel you should not need to ask. RIP the mini bar - they used to have a great mini bar with snacks, wine/beer etc. Now it is a fridge with a couple of bottle of soft drinks. On the subject of alcohol - the old Carmens bar which had several pool tables and a relaxed atmosphere - has now closed and replaced with what is intended to be a lobby bar but looks more like a bottle museum. The lighting is way too bright for a bar - it's pretty much floodlight so if you want a nice cozy relaxing drink forget it. They have a trolley full of great booze tucked away in the side room - various spirits, liqueurs. They need to set them up on the virtually empty shelves and at least try and make it look like bar. Final gripe is the staff in this brilliantly lit bar have zero interest in what they are doing. Not a single smile or any expression of anything on both evenings I was there. Just a blank stare then back to the phone screen. The breakfast was excellent as were the staff - very helpful and smiley. Front desk were also great. However, to be considered of a International standard (they plan to join a major chain soon) they really need to improve spoken English

This is the fourth time I’ve stayed at this hotel. Great location in Dongguan with one of the best pools in the city. The breakfast and hotel restaurant are decent quality as well.

The hotel in general looks very nice and tidy. But the rooms look old fashioned with old electrical outlets and no provision for multiple universal charging ports. They could improve on the quality of service, Amenities, and services.

Huge hotel and lots of room to be chosen. Room is big, clean and tidy. Hotel arranged personal service manager to coordinate with during stays. Request being served at nice and fast manner which is highly appreciated. Lots of activities for kids. Just some activities need to be charged additionally and I will suggest hotel can offer discount for guests who stay in hotel. Plenty of choice of breakfast but when getting crazy when lots of guest going to have breakfast at the same time. Lack of food. Suggest hotel can assign some time slot for guests so divide guests into groups to avoid having breakfast at the same time. Due to hotel is large, lifts are provided at one side only. If i stay in the room far from the lift while I am going to the location downstairs just behind my room, I need to walk 10 mins to the lift and then another 10 mins to the location where i need to go.Highly suggest hotel can newly build some lifts in the other side of the building so guest (especially elderly need not walk long way).

Kande is very nice hotel in Dongguan, we stayed here multiple times. Close to the biggest mall and walking street with a lot of food options!

Most of the experience was good in terms of rooms facilities and cleanliness etc. But service was the food is big question. There was no menu in the room. English speak staff was a big challenge. I ordered food twice. In the afternoon time the food served was not warm enough. The Spaghetti Bolognaise the sauce wasn't confident and the meat mince was very tough. The Malaysian curry rice was nice. The Fruit platter was also okay...though the selection of fruits was very limited. The dinner time, was even worse, they did not serve my ordered dish, they could not cancel the order, the replacement they gave to us was not cooked properly did not taste good. Both the soup were okay. moreover the communication with the hotel staff wasn't comfortable. if they did not have a particular dish they should have removed it from the digital menu and if not should have been able to cancel the order. The alternative to the dish was very ordinary. In total I spent over RMB 546 on food. I think it wasn't worth the money spent. So, Good location, cleanliness and facilities ..but service and quality of food...not good...so, a lot of improvement can be done.

Positives. The room is nice and clean. And the location is really good. The shopping center comes alive at night with lots of kids activities. Negatives. The staff is nice but struggles with English so couldn't explain where breakfast is, it'll be nice if they have a map for people. Breakfast is not worth going, the place had cockroaches.
