We stopped by the property in 2016 during our last trip to Ireland and had wanted to stay at TI Doonbeg ever since. We finally got to return to Ireland with our best friends and spent two nights here. The property exceeded our expectations. We were so grateful to receive a room upgrade to a 2BR/2BTH unit and it was wonderful to get a break from my husband’s snoring. We had a townhouse style unit in the main “village” area that was next to the pro shop and pub. It didn’t have an ocean view, but it was a good location to access the amenities. The husbands enjoyed golf. The ladies enjoyed the spa. We dined at both restaurants and visited the member’s bar. Food and service were overall, very good. We only had one glitch with service at the Oceanside restaurant. Service started out great and servers became nonexistent midway. The ocean views, grounds and building were all beautiful! We were sad to leave and could have stayed several more days. My only suggestion is to consider lighter weight bedding or at least the option of a lighter weight blanket with a top flat sheet. Most visitors seemed to be American and most appeared to be middle aged and up. Many of us are hot sleepers and can’t tolerate heavy duvet comforters. Thank you!

This was an amazing stay. The grounds, hotel, food were perfect. Beach on the doorstep, lots to see in the area. The perfect relaxing break away. Special mention to the staff....so friendly. To Briget in reservations who was extremely helpful before the trip, unfortunately I didn't get to meet her. Brian too, who charged the shuttle to the Links Cottages. Every member of staff was fantastic. Such a relaxing stay.

Getting to Doonbeg was a little out of our way, but it was well worth it. The grounds and rooms of this property were amazing. The staff was friendly wherever we went - the restaurant, the bar, the golf shop, interacting with the maids - everyone was extremely nice. This property is also in a great location to make half-day trips to the Cliffs of Moher and other coastal towns.

Disappointed with the visit to Doonbeg hotel and golf course, service in the hotel wasn’t the greatest and the service at the golf was very poor, the shop staff and I believe it to be the pro was very unfriendly and not welcoming at all . The course was good but for overall experience I wouldn’t recommend

Fanatastic hotel, staff very friendly, food was excellent and extremely helpful. Beautiful beach, great views of the Atlantic and a fantastic beach. Great golf course too, but woukld advise against using a caddy, of maybe just one caddy for the group because there are lots of blind shots and first time playing you would need some guidence, we used 2 caddies for 3 golfers and got charged 400 Euro just for the caddies, really spoiled the round of golf.
