I had a great stay at Mama Shelter! The vibe was fun, modern, and super welcoming from the moment I arrived. The rooms were clean, stylish, and had a quirky charm that made the experience feel unique. Staff were friendly and always ready to help, whether it was for local tips or quick service requests. Overall, a perfect blend of comfort, creativity, and good energy. Would definitely stay here again!

The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and professional. The room as clean, spacious, and already cooled when I entered (I traveled in July). Unfortunately, I was too beat from the heat to make it to the gym and pool. The room service was exceptional and timely. I would definitely stay again if I visit Dubai.

After a disappointing stay earlier this week at another 4-star hotel in Tecom, I decided to try Novotel Al Barsha for the weekend, mainly because Swiss Butter Steakhouse is inside the hotel. My friend Hannah and I checked in with a mix of curiosity and hope for a better experience. The hotel does seem busy, which contradicts what some other guests have said. To their credit, we were given our room right away at check-in. I had booked a Superior Twin Room and specifically requested a higher floor for a better view. I also accepted a smoking room, understanding the compromise, but the overwhelming smell of smoke in the hallway left me wondering: shouldn’t a 4-star hotel manage this better? Upon entrance, to our surprise, we found a joined single bed instead of twins. We called reception, hoping to move rooms, but they offered to just separate the beds. Regret hit when we saw how small the single beds were! Honestly, if you’re tall or on the bigger side, this setup will not be comfortable—especially if you’re staying with friends or family. To add, the bed’s mattress clearly needed flipping, as there was an obvious slope that made it uncomfortable to sleep on. Adding to the unfortunate, despite being on the 25th floor, there was no view to speak of—something we were really looking forward to. It felt like a missed opportunity, especially given the hotel’s location and our specific request for a high floor. The bathroom was another letdown. The tissue holder was almost broken, the materials inside looked cheap, and the toilet bowl was not properly cleaned, with visible brown markings—pretty gross for a 4-star hotel. Thankfully, the bathtub was at least clean, so that was something. On the bright side, the highlight of this hotel is definitely their spa and pool. We were given discount vouchers for Soul and Senses Spa, and my masseuse, Shatria, did a great job. The pool is a decent size and clean, while the sauna and steam room were perfect. The health club overall is the ace of this place. For breakfast, I agree with other reviews—it’s decent. The restaurant was packed in the morning, but the vibe was good. However, they don’t escort guests to tables; you just find a seat yourself, which is fine but felt a bit unpolished. One odd thing I noticed: while housekeeping did try their best to fulfill our requests—like providing coffee capsules and water—there was no creamer for the coffee and tea. Even 3-star hotels provide that, so it was a first for me (maybe it was just the standard). Despite these minimal disappointments, I still try to see the positive side of this hotel and did my best to take decent photos that you may see for reference. Overall, it seems like this hotel mainly caters to group tourists, which makes me wonder if they’re sacrificing quality for quantity. I hope they work on improving their services, including room quality, views, and attention to detail, so they can leave a better impression of Dubai for future guests.

This hotel is a new city hotel opened this year, just like One&Only One‘Zabeel, and its positioning is similar, so it can be compared. First of all, in terms of the room, this hotel has a balcony, so you can lie down and look at the skyline without going out, which is a big plus point, but OOOZ does not have it. Secondly, I personally think that the swimming pool of this hotel is better than that of OOOZ, because on the one hand, it is closer to the skyline, and on the other hand, there are more viewing angles, which is extremely suitable for lying down. However, this swimming pool does not allow cameras to enter, but OOOZ does not have this rule. In addition, the staff at the pool asked us what we wanted to drink. We ordered two glasses of orange juice, but the staff did not remind us that we had to pay. Before leaving, I saw that the bill for two glasses cost 90 dirhams. So you must ask clearly whether anything provided is free. For breakfast, I ordered in-room dining, and the lana breakfast of 255 dirhams was enough for two people, but it is not recommended in terms of cost performance. In terms of public areas, this hotel is not as rich as OOOZ, but public areas are not that important for city hotels. Overall, it was a satisfactory stay.

The best and favorite hotel! We stayed there 3 times already and everything is also perfect! Responsive and pleasant staff, excellent varied breakfast, walking distance to Dubai Mall! We had an unpleasant situation with cleaning, when they did not notice valuable things in the bed and raked it into the change of bed linen 😔 But they quickly found everything and returned it! Favorite hotel, which you want to return to again and again!

My stay was an enriching experience. The hotel is located in a residential area. The apartment is very spacious and has modern amenities. The staff is very professional, especially the housekeeping. I can't wait to go back

The second time I went to Dubai and the second time I stayed at Madinat Jumeirah. The experience was more amazing than the last time. This time I stayed at Summer Palace Vila, which was great. The view on the second floor was beautiful and the service staff were very friendly. You can travel within the hotel by boat or shuttle bus. There are very few people in the swimming pool and beach, so the privacy is very good. Every time I go to Dubai, I must stay in this hotel. My children love it very much.

I read the reviews before and the hotel rating was not good, but we felt very good after staying here. Needless to say, the location is right inside the Burj Khalifa. The style is Armani's low-key luxury business style. From the lobby to the room, it is all metallic black. The upgraded VIP room is not small and is divided into two areas. The reception area has a separate bathroom, TV and cloakroom. The breakfast is rich and delicious. Outside the terrace of the restaurant is the fountain square at the entrance of du bai mall. The hotel can go directly to du bai mall through the VIP channel by swiping the room card, but the elevator to take when coming back is a bit hidden. After checking out, you can leave your luggage at the front desk and borrow a room card to go shopping in the mall. The front desk is happy to help.
