SLS Dubai Hotel & Residences

Our flight was changed during our layover in Dubai, causing us to arrive at 6 AM. Luckily, I had booked the early check-in option at SLS. VISPIN at the front desk, along with an Asian lady, kindly helped us arrange an even earlier check-in than planned so we could rest. Our connecting flight was also delayed by several hours, so it was a blessing that we chose this hotel. You can see the Dubai skyline from here (though the weather wasn't great the day we arrived, and there's a building under construction next door), but that doesn't detract from the advantage of being on a high floor. In the afternoon, we took advantage of the sunset to explore the city, and then went back for a bath 🛁 in the evening. All the fatigue from our layover melted away. It was a wonderful short stay, and next time I'd love to come back to Dubai for a proper visit! 👍🏻

The scenery is incredibly beautiful. The Chinese lady at the front desk even upgraded my room. The service, environment, and views are all excellent. My only complaint is that the minibar in the room is too expensive – 80 RMB for a bottle of beer and 370 RMB for a small bottle of red wine. Ahamed provided great service and even helped carry my luggage downstairs.

For this price, the views, service, and value for money are all top-notch in Dubai. My only regret is that the pool closes in the afternoon. However, the turndown service and cleaning service were incredibly thoughtful, and the views are absolutely stunning. Definitely book a room with a Burj Khalifa view!

Some of the furniture is run down, the walls are peeling, the room is a bit worn out, and getting in and out of the room is very annoying as you have to switch elevators.
