It's few hundred meters to nearly 1 km to the exhibition center. There's a wide road and you need to walk to the roundabout if you want to walk to the exhibition center. If you want to take the taxi, the hotels located on the wrong side of the traffic flow and therefore the taxi need to drive extra distance to turn back to the exhibition center.
Good side is that there's is convenient store at G floor of the hotel.
The host is very big. You can see the Museum of the Future. There is a universal charger in the room. The hotel service is also very good. The staff cleans the room every day. It is a little far from the subway station, but it is more convenient to take a taxi.
I recently stayed at Ibis One Central Dubai and had a great experience. The hotel is clean, with well-maintained rooms and excellent service from the friendly staff. The location is a standout feature – just a short walk to the Museum of the Future and surrounded by a variety of restaurants within 3-5 minutes. It’s also close to the Dubai World Trade Centre and easily accessible via public transportation. The rooms are compact but comfortable, offering everything you need for a relaxing stay. Overall, it’s a perfect choice for convenience, comfort, and value for money. Highly recommended!

Hotel room is really big, close to Mall of Emirates, more convenient. The traffic at the entrance of the hotel is a bit congested. Hotel free parking, very convenient. The swimming pool of the hotel can see the distant view of the sailing hotel, but there is no direct sunlight most of the time, so it is impossible to bask in the sun. The service attitude of the hotel is very good, and the cleaning staff are serious and responsible.

After a disappointing stay earlier this week at another 4-star hotel in Tecom, I decided to try Novotel Al Barsha for the weekend, mainly because Swiss Butter Steakhouse is inside the hotel. My friend Hannah and I checked in with a mix of curiosity and hope for a better experience.
The hotel does seem busy, which contradicts what some other guests have said. To their credit, we were given our room right away at check-in. I had booked a Superior Twin Room and specifically requested a higher floor for a better view. I also accepted a smoking room, understanding the compromise, but the overwhelming smell of smoke in the hallway left me wondering: shouldn’t a 4-star hotel manage this better?
Upon entrance, to our surprise, we found a joined single bed instead of twins. We called reception, hoping to move rooms, but they offered to just separate the beds. Regret hit when we saw how small the single beds were! Honestly, if you’re tall or on the bigger side, this setup will not be comfortable—especially if you’re staying with friends or family. To add, the bed’s mattress clearly needed flipping, as there was an obvious slope that made it uncomfortable to sleep on.
Adding to the unfortunate, despite being on the 25th floor, there was no view to speak of—something we were really looking forward to. It felt like a missed opportunity, especially given the hotel’s location and our specific request for a high floor.
The bathroom was another letdown. The tissue holder was almost broken, the materials inside looked cheap, and the toilet bowl was not properly cleaned, with visible brown markings—pretty gross for a 4-star hotel. Thankfully, the bathtub was at least clean, so that was something.
On the bright side, the highlight of this hotel is definitely their spa and pool. We were given discount vouchers for Soul and Senses Spa, and my masseuse, Shatria, did a great job. The pool is a decent size and clean, while the sauna and steam room were perfect. The health club overall is the ace of this place.
For breakfast, I agree with other reviews—it’s decent. The restaurant was packed in the morning, but the vibe was good. However, they don’t escort guests to tables; you just find a seat yourself, which is fine but felt a bit unpolished.
One odd thing I noticed: while housekeeping did try their best to fulfill our requests—like providing coffee capsules and water—there was no creamer for the coffee and tea. Even 3-star hotels provide that, so it was a first for me (maybe it was just the standard).
Despite these minimal disappointments, I still try to see the positive side of this hotel and did my best to take decent photos that you may see for reference.
Overall, it seems like this hotel mainly caters to group tourists, which makes me wonder if they’re sacrificing quality for quantity. I hope they work on improving their services, including room quality, views, and attention to detail, so they can leave a better impression of Dubai for future guests.

Hello 🙋♀️
Everything is wonderful 🤩
The people at the reception are wonderful, hospitable, good-natured, helpful 👍
The cleanliness of the room was a pleasant surprise.
Fridge, iron, ironing board, balcony, air conditioning, microwave, stove - everything is there and everything works
The location is super!
Very good hotel with a lot of entertainments and good view. Location is good as week, especially if you don’t want to go to Burj Khalifa often. This direction is not that nice as the other with nice neighborhood. Room was clean and comfortable. And also when you check out, you can leave your stuff at special box with a code and take it when it’s necessary. Very convenient

The location was decent, a short drive or even a manageable walk from the Dubai Mall area. However the service is where this hotel shown, being greeted upon arrival, allowed to check-in early, being asked if there was anything else they could do to make my stay more comfortable, etc etc. It was truly a very pleasant experience. The room was large and modern and clean, very comfortable bed. The pool area was nice, but nothing spectacular. The hotel was also an excellent value for the price paid, would definitely stay here again.
From the perspective of tourism and vacation, compared with beaches, sea water, and resort hotels, One&Only Hotel is more suitable for business travel. The hotel is unique and has all the facilities of a luxury hotel, which are all above standard, especially the swimming pool built on a 230-meter cross-arm building. The city skyline in the distance is really beautiful, but hotel guests have to go before 10 o'clock to get in for free, and the rest of the time it costs 250 dirhams, which does feel like paying to see a celebrity building. Breakfast is made to order, which ensures the freshness of the taste. The 4-room swimming pool is small and exquisite, and it is nice to lie in the sun.
Good Stay, but Too Much Waiting ⏳⭐⭐⭐☆☆
I recently stayed at Mercure Dubai Barsha Heights, and while the experience was mostly positive, there were some drawbacks. On the bright side, the room was spacious and absolutely spotless, which made for a very comfortable stay. The housekeeping team did a fantastic job maintaining cleanliness, and the bed was very comfortable.
However, the biggest downside was the amount of waiting. The elevators were slow, often requiring a long wait, especially during peak times. Breakfast was good, but the long queues made it less enjoyable. Additionally, the valet service was quite slow, with long wait times to get the car. While the hotel itself was nice, the constant waiting was frustrating and took away from the overall experience. If they improve efficiency in these areas, it would be a much better stay.

Very Good
MMRD33Stayed at this hotel for the location close to my meetings , everything seem fine, I liked the gym even no body soap, no shampoo nothing , I found it pleasant, chilled cafe , I liked it , staff seemed friendly UP UNTIL one night after 10pm to my horror a member of the hotel pushed open the doors no knocking nothing , I just a shower so and was undress fully , he starred and froze at me until I need to shout to him so he close the door . The hotel manner of dealing with it was unbelievable the front of office manager Mr Hazem Mohammed stopped in the lobby to offer his apology I found that totally unprofessional and unacceptable, he then offered me to have coffee to which I refused. I demanded to know why the man came into my room where was he going why wasn’t he trained enough to comprehend to knock first .. the hotel would just say that he made a mistake for another room , for me that wasn’t good enough, they did nothing to show that they cared or wanted to make me feel better, they just brushed it off as if it was no big deal , for me it was ..I had to put my luggage in front the door Incase another man walked in without knocking during the night, slept with all the lights on . I really wanted to know why he came to my room why.. NO SOLID REASON 😔🤬
They refused to give a part refund or even a gesture they were concerned . Disgusting and bad management allow this to happen and they couldn’t wait for me to leave , when I came to check out they all made themselves looked busy, no one said anything, no one gave no eye contact , shame on you if you read this .
That’s not how you treat women that’s not how you make your guest feel, why you couldn’t give me a valid reason because you yourself don’t have one …
SseshxyzSuper-duper location with metro that is 1 minute away from hotel. Super service and staff, so kind and client centric. Many features, included nice breakfast with a lot of various and tasty food. Had 2 swimming pools for both parts of a day. Also the gym to keep your body up. Good looking view from room windows and hotel itself also looking good.
MMrs Kaye TanWe were very grateful for Lelisa for accomodating our requests. We were given a room with great views of Dubai Burj Khalifa and Museum of the Future. The room was huge in size and the spa shower and bath has a view to die for. We stayed in room 3204. The breakfast buffet has a lot of options to choose from. The location is just opposite the World trade center, just a few stations before Burj Khalifa and Deira. All the staffs from the valet to room service cleaning were very friendly. Thank you for making our stay memorable.
GGuest UserCentral located (metro station: World Trade Center— 7 to 10 minutes walk to the station), easy to access to anywhere in Dubai. Many nice restaurants on the way to the metro station too and some even run 24hrs.
Spacious rooms, friendly staff, well- equipped amenities and unlimited water refill. Highly recommended this hotel!
MMars SiaThe hotel was right smack between two metro stations. It is better to use the Emirates Tower station as there is an overhead bridge to bring you across the road. The Museun of the Future is just nearby. Fo book your tickets at least 3 to 5 days in advance. We were unaware of the demand for the entry and missed going in vos it was fully booked for the next few days. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful.
SSenthil Kumar PunithaSuperb stay for our entire family for 8 nights and 9 days. All staff are so good. Start from Reception, Bell Boys, Room Service gave us a very nice experience here. So many amenities are close by. Will recommend my friends and will visit back again.cheers.
GGuest UserThe rooms were nice.l
The rooftop pool was a bit disappointing as it was on top of the car park with a view of another car park but it did get the sun.
The bar and restaurant on the 61st floor was closed during my visit and so that was also disappointing as I was very much looking forward to going there.
The hotel entrance is literally 3 yards from the metro which made it an ideal location and only a 10-15 minute taxi ride from La Mer beach, costing only about £3.
GGuest UserVery good location. Clean room.
Some of the staff were super friendly and others were not helpful.
I would stay again here given I spend most of my time exploring Dubai and just need a good place to sleep
Kkevin_mzbClose to the convention and exhibition center, suitable for exhibitions, supermarkets and restaurants downstairs are all complete, 10 minutes walk from the subway, hotel services
