The room is just right for 2 persons. No aircon and heater in the room though. But all through our stay was comfortable. Walkable area to city centre.

Please don’t judge this on the word hostel. It is in a great location for the city centre, near tram and bus stops. It is on a busy road so there is some noise from that and the furniture and facilities are basic, but having said this, I would highly recommend it! Staff so friendly and helpful - nothing was too much. There is a bar and cafe open all day. A nice relaxed atmosphere and people of all ages and nationalities staying. Yes you could pay more for posher decor - but if you’re looking for fab accommodation on a budget - don’t hesitate to book this! It’s also important to point out that this is a charity, so your booking helps to fund trips away for those who really need this but wouldn’t otherwise have the opportunity. So win win!

My daughter and her friend was stuck in Scotland as the trains had been stopped for the evening. I contacted this youth hostel and they went above and beyond to make sure that my daughter was safe. The lady in reception went above and beyond to try and help me out. Thanks for all Your help Claude it was appreciated

Hotel was very basic for the price,bed was comfortable shower nice and hot, towels were basic too No kettle with tea or coffee,very disappointed. A lot of foreign students about but were very quiet during the night Room was very warm during our stay

Easy to find arriving from airport by tram to McDonalds street. Very affordable. Staff very helpful. The mens 6-bed dorm was very clean, had its own shower and wc. Rooms had there own safety boxes, actually forgot to look do they work with code or padlocks! It being hostel, you rent a towel if you are in a dorm room amd there is no complimentary soap in the shower. Folks of all ages stayed there from kids to pensioners. Has a bar next to reception.
