The staff of the hotel is extremely polite, hospitable and friendly. We got upgraded to the Superior Suite with an ocean view as there were no more regular rooms left, and it was very pleasing. The view was amazing, breakfast was delicious and the hotel does also offer SPA services for reasonable prices, which I highly recommend to explore. Beach is 1 minute walk from the hotel, basically next to it and you can swim there. Downtown is a little bit far to go by walk, however if you take a tricycle, it will take about 5 minutes. A big concern that we had was ants. A lot of ants rushing near the trash bin. Also, a shower head was quite dirty. Shampoo was provided in a little plastic package of 5 ml maybe, which is barely enough for long hair ladies. Shower gel was not provided at all, only a tiny peace of soap, so I highly recommend to buy or bring your own hygiene products.

Amazing beach view in front and very friendly staff. They The area surrounding is less touristy then other locations in Palawan, although a bit out of the way. Highly recommend this hotel . Great place to relax

I booked Deluxe room and it did not disappoint me, the view was impeccable. We had a balcony in the room plus a really really good view, you can just chill out at the balcony overlooking the beach. The room has sofa inside and super spacious. The breakfast is plated tho. Too bad, there's no pool as stated om the website. But hey, they offer free kayak, so you can do some activity at the beach. There's a lowtide during morning. Location wise, if you do not want in a crowded place it is recvommendable. If you're a person who loves to party at night, it's just 5mins ride to the town where bars are situated. Overall, we had a nice stay! 👍😊

The hotel is located right on the beach in the letter P, along the highway, which is also the central road of the city. On the sides there are rooms, at the end of the “legs” there are rooms with an exit and views of the sea, we were visited in one of these rooms (No. 10). Immediately upon check-in, we saw a sign with tour options, in the city they offer four types, we chose tours A and B from the hotel, you can get to Puerto Princesa (700 pesos per person). There is no water in the room, but in the restaurant there is a cooler where everyone runs to fill up bottles, at the reception they sell water for 100 pesos for 1.5 liters, near the market water is sold for 70 for 2 liters (at 7-11 in Manila the same amount costs 46 pesos). The room has soap, shampoo in bags, toothbrushes, toothpaste, they are provided once upon arrival, but it will last for three days, and I already carry my own shampoo and conditioner. The plumbing was a bit old, the sink was broken in one place, but overall it didn’t bother us. Instead of a blanket there was a sheet, and at night I froze a little, then I started sleeping in a T-shirt. I should note that on the last day I discovered bites on myself - I still don’t know whether there were bugs in the pillow (but then I would have been bitten all three days), or whether I was bitten by plankton in the shallow water where I was sitting in water until night. Breakfast from 7 to 10, rice, scrambled eggs, tomatoes, two types of meat, cucumber water, pancakes, bananas, coffee, tea. Not very varied, but the hot food was different every day, we ate our fill, everything was filling. The first morning we left on time and all the food was already standing, the second time we left on time again, but waited another 15 minutes for food, while the staff was giggling in the main building. The beach is shallow, 4 sun loungers and two hammocks. There are people on the beach either in the morning or in the late afternoon, there is no rush. The water was shallow and reached the buoys and up to the knee. At night the tide is low and if you look out of the room, and we are looking at the water five meters away, there is no water. Overall we liked the hotel and would be happy to come again. On the right and left there are hotels costing 20 thousand per night and I don’t understand why they overpay so much.

Great location, great view, free paddle boards, quiet, not the worst breakfast (relatively speaking). The hotel is run down, there is no refrigerator, all the sockets are broken, I had to fix the antenna wiring myself in order to get a laugh from the local TV. Rooms are cleaned only upon request, and then only if they do not forget.

This is a relatively old environment, and it’s OK not to brush your teeth.

The Property is fairly well maintained. The room was clean and the food was good in the mornings. The staff went above and beyond my expectations and were easily available. They we're able to book all of my outings directly from the hotel. Therefore, save yourself some money and time and let the hotel do all your bookings and transportation needs. Trikes were only a hundred pesos back and forth to town and were easily accessible. I would recommend this resort, but be very specific on the room type that you want to stay. One last thought is that the beach is off the beaten path, which makes walking on the beach peaceful as compared to staying downtown El Nido.

Tired, unloved. First day moody barman had no drinks for a lady. No ice also! Wi-fi broken the whole time. Bathroom dingy and dirty. No safe in room, i asked 4 times before one was provided. Not even bolted to the wall. Breakfast very poor no choice.

We had a fantastic stay in El Nido despite challenges at this hotel and the *********** description being inaccurate to the room. Pros of staying: easy access by tricycle off the main road, beautiful sunset views, free kayak rentals, great and attentive bar and restaurant crew, good but very limited breakfast, air-conditioned rooms with outdoor drying racks for clothes. Cons of staying: far from town, no hot water, brief loss of power, terrible to no internet, dogs and cats with mange that will put their paws on your lap while you eat, variable quantity of food for breakfast (sometimes 1 egg, sometimes 2), they do not clean your room, front desk will lie to your face over several important issues (see below), (and minor issue) instant packet coffee only. As for the front desk issues: I at first thought there was a gap in communication, but things kept happening that made it clear they were just negligent and rude. I would like to preface this by saying I've spent over 4 months in the Philippines with no issues communicating even when both individuals don't understand the other's language. This hotel's website is in English and is marketed in English. The front desk also showed their hand by remembering several details including our van transfer time and date while pretending to not remember several other things they literally wrote down on the same sheet of paper. Most of our communications were with Catherine Apa. 1. They tried to kick us out before the day they told us we were checking out. We had booked a 3-night stay and tried to add another day online, but were unable to modify our reservation. We booked a 4th night separately and were happy to switch rooms if we had to. The first thing we did on arrival was to ask if we could stay in the same room for all 4 nights. They said OK and scheduled our van transfer to the airport the morning after our 4th night. Thank God we were in the room at 12PM the day before check-out, because they tried to make us leave. I showed her my reservation (again), and she told us we would have to move to a different room. She said "don't worry, it's a deluxe room with the same price with an ocean view. But you have to get out now because someone else booked your room." OK, so we hastily pack up the whole room and just as we finish, she pops in to tell us "actually you can stay here" with no apology whatsoever. At this point it felt like she was messing with us. The excuses were "our desk computers don't connect to the internet" "you are booked twice, for a 5 day stay" (which makes no sense) and "actually there are people in the new room right now." 2. They insisted our tour meeting time was wrong and refused to schedule transportation at the time I asked for. The tour said 8AM sharp, and she absolutely insisted on leaving at 8:30AM. She said the tours leave 9-10 so there's no way you need to be there at 8. I asked several times to get there at 8 and she just wasn't having it. So we booked for 8:30. T

Let me start by saying the staff are lovely and very accomodating! But the internet pictures do NOT reflect the current state of the rooms! I paid $110 Aud per night - they are charging western prices but offer third world standard.Room was tiny,Had no kettle and gave me one when i asked but it did not work Internet does NOT work in the room, only in the very hot lobby. My TV did not work and they said a guest broke it last year. But kindly gave me a router for the internet. There were ants everywhere, power went off every 30 minutes and you cant discard your toilet paper in their system All of that is fine if you are charged accordingly but they charge high prices for a VERY average room

Amazing location right on the beach, good rooms. Prime rooms are numbers 10, 21 and 34. Breakfast is included. The service and staff are 7 stars. Nice close walk to many restaurants and quick trike ride the the main area of El Nido more restaurants and many good bars and all the tour agents.
