Very clean and big, nice view outside the room, reasonable price. It's a bit troublesome to contact by phone before check-in, but everything is perfect except the first time

Attention! If you are considering booking this type of apar**ent or guest house for your trip, be sure! Do not use Ctrip, it is very deceptive. This type of hotel is self-service check-in, and requires a four-digit code, but Ctrip does not provide it at all, and there is no explanation in the email. We were asked to call outside the hotel to check in.

Studiamo bene la prenotazione e scopriamo che c’è scritto che avremmo ricevuto una mail di conferma dasl’albergo. Di questa mail nessuna traccia. Notiamo però che nella prenotazione c’è un numero di conferma. Tentiamo e funziona come codice per entrare. Ispezioniamo landrone per cercare indizi sul numero della stanza. Niente. Esasperati e stanchi telefoniamo al numero riusciamo presente sulla prenotazione. E dopo mezz’ora riusciamo a scoprìre il numero della stanza e il codice per accederr

Broken wc as in the smell was horrible.
They tried to fix it but couldnt and didnt want to do anything for us.
The floors were very dirty also.
Luckily we had changing clothes for our crawling baby.
The ladies that answered the phone were very different. Some nice and tried to help while others could berely understand english or Icelandic so i gave up on talking to them.
Very sad because we have been there before and liked it.

We had chosen to pay upon arrival. What we didn’t know was that that means that you receive a payment link on the day of arrival. However the payment link didn’t work with any of our credit cards. We spent 1,5 hours on the phone with the apartment hotel remote customer service before getting access to the room.
Even though the hotel also concluded that the payment links didn’t work they kept denying us access and asked for a bank transfer instead (on a Saturday night and best case it takes several days to process).
The hotel itself is an average budget hotel with a nearby bakery and a really good restaurant in the same apartment block. There are also more restaurants within walking distance.

Check-in was automated and hassle-free. The room was clean and spacious. The location is near the center of town and accessible. I would definitely recommend this place if you are staying for a night or two. I also recommend GK bakery which is right next door.

We stayed here for one night on our Iceland trip. It was nice, clean, comfy. We had a little trouble getting into the lobby front door but we called and they helped us get in. The apartment was large and came with everything we needed. There is a foyer for your boots/shoes which is nice but there wasn't a good place to hang coats. We tried to book it for another night but it wasn't available. We would stay here again!
