Great rooms and the staff are very nice!

The staff was great. It was a quiet area with many restaurants close by. The room was clean and the bed comfortable, but the room was sparsely furnished. One uncomfortable chair with a table instead of a desk. We had to sit on the bed to watch tv.

Check in took twice as long as it should have. The receptionist seemed confused and apologized several times. The complimentary water in the reception area tasted AWFUL. Not sure if the container hadn’t been cleaned recently or what the problem was. Coffee in the room was terrible, slightly better at breakfast. The wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling in quite a few places, and had been badly patched in others. There were only two fruit choices for breakfast, one of which was green bananas. Every one! Completely unedible.

So far things are great. It fulfills its purpose, a clean safe place to stay. Nothing too special, but the fruit infused by the front is nice.

On one of the busiest nights possible for this hotel, Marriott left a front desk employee with no experience working alone. She was unable to check us in-waited 45 min and still had no room key. She had to go and let us in our room. And because she couldn’t log what room we were in, she later tried to put someone else in our room scaring my daughter to death when they tried to get in the door at 12:30am. Not at all her fault. They should not have left her alone without the proper training.
