We stayed at this hotel on a bed and breakfast basis for 7 nights. The hotel was modern and clean, staff were very helpful. The room was cleaned daily and products restocked. The location was perfect for us as situated close to motorway. We had a hire car for the week so the hotel car park was great for us. Burger King was next door so handy if wanted a quick coffee day or night. The hotel does have a bar. Breakfast was scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, alongside a full continental selection. I recommend this hotel, we would certainly stay there again.

Lovely location in Foz for people who prefer to stay somewhere calmer than the centre of Porto. You can catch a 500 bus nearby or the tram (about 500m from hotel). The hotel is near the beachfront and overlooks a castle. The best points are the panoramic roof view out to sea, bar and pool area. There is some underground parking available. The staff were extremely helpful and even helped us get our car out of the garage. We had a large vehicle (Toyota Hilux double cab) and managed to park it in the underground car park. If you are a confident driver you can get it in. The hotel was extremely clean. Breakfast was busy but still managed to appear calm. This is a good hotel for the price in a good location. The rooms were a little hot but you can open the windows. Would we come back? Yes.

The hotel is a modern hotel with large rooms, light and comfortable. It is recommended because it is near the airport, if you have to stay**** one night do not hesitate to choose this hotel.

Stayed four night as a base for Porto centre. Would give it 3.5 if possible to use halfs. Rooms were clean although showing signs of wear. Bed made up daily and fresh towels. Lack of shelf space in cupboard. Used for breakfast once but also tried the Mitica Inspiracao out of the back door twice for a more relaxed setting and no temptation to overfill v the buffet. Shower has good temperature and flow. Friendly and helpful reception staff. Nearby supermarket for anything you need. The bus from the airport took 50 mins during the morning midweek, and initially goes away from the hotel before heading back towards it. If I was doing it again I would take the Metro to Ramalde the nearest stop and then get an Uber to the hotel. The airport Metro is just behind the road at arrivals. Bus 304 seemed the quicker bus than the 300 or 301 into town. Had issues with bus reliability getting back from town after 8pm using information from route planner on Google maps .. chasing round various bus stops near the Town Hall Square to no avail. Ended up prefering to get the Metro back to Ramalde and then €3 for an Uber. Opted to use luggage lockers at Trindade Metro, €6 small for upto 12 hours rather than detour back to the hotel on the last day. Other sizes available but limited availability.

This hotel arrived late, and it took a relatively early walk. I didn’t take a closer look. First of all, it’s a little difficult to drive alone. A hotel located in the center of Oval. Close to all facilities, 5 kilometers from the beach. Very nice staff. The breakfast was good and the room was clean. The price/performance ratio is very good. I recommend.

The hotel is located about 20 minutes from Porto. Good communication with bus near the door and perfect if you are going on car. The cleaning is extraordinary, both in the rooms and in the rest of the stays. The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable. I would like to make a comment on the Novotel because I was really surprised by the positive, I was going without great expectations, I saw some comments that mentioned the old and lack of modernity, and that is not the reality. The hotel is wonderful. The entrance is huge, staff are super friendly and make it easy to stay. We stay in a room with sea view. With a good bathroom, with a large bathroom. The room's closet is huge! The room was very nice, with a decoration, and cozy. The room was air conditioned and a mini bar included in the price of all the drinks of the room. The restaurant was very beautiful. The pool was very good. The water was always brown. I assessed the Novotel with a 9 and I don't give a 10 for the size of the pool. It is a very good hotel and looked for families with children, which makes the pool always full. As for breakfast, I also want to give a praise, because it is quite varied and they never let things end. I liked it very much

Clean modern and cheap hotel in 10 minutes walk or 3.5€ Uber journey to Porto Airport. This is very convenient to leave. What I personally missed in the hotel were two things: 1) toilet brushes 😆 and 2) water cookers to drink coffee or tea. We couldn't have breakfast because our departure was at 6:55. Therefore, water cookers would be perfect.

Great location close to the Metro, although a bit noisy as there is construction outside and a barking next door. The rooms are tiny with minimal amenities. This is not a 4 star hotel as our package promised. Just a heads up, they charge you for extra coffee pods. Staff here is professional and very helpful-they wear many hats! They helped us book an amazing tour. Walking distance to shopping, an amazing indoor food court, and grocery stores. The breakfast room is very nice, and has good selections.
