Garden Inn and Suites Fresno

I stayed at the hotel because I wanted to use the jacuzzi but it doesn’t work. I wish it will work to come back and stay with you!

Amazing staff, fruit-laden fruit trees (kumquats, grapefruit, pamelos and oranges) and great location. walking distance to in-n-out, costco, walmart etc. Comfortable, spacious rooms with full refrigerator, stove, etc.

Room was nice, clean and spacious. The hotel is basic but wins with all the trees and small patio for each room. The breakfast could be improved with adding scrambled egg and better quality of coffee and bread. The lack of quality items were the main problem at this place. Everything was of of low quality, from the shampoo to the coffee. Please just use a few bucks extra and give the guests a decent experience. Overall a good place and we would like to come back.

This property is on the older side but well maintained. The grounds are really pretty and the pool area is nice. My room was large and comfortable.

Friendly and helpful staff! Excellently maintained grounds and though the rooms were a little dated, my stay was quiet and comfortable. Would stay here again!

It was nestled off the main road. The garden is amazing fruit trees and rose bushes. Very well cared for and very quiet. The breakfast was good with eggs and sausage yogurt toast etc. It was across from Forestiere gardens

Chose this hotel due to the overall good reviews, was concerned about the multiple bad reviews on the AC, but ours was fine, it was central heat and air via ceiling vents. Room was clean and spacious, had our own porch with table to eat among the various fruit trees. Room was clean, some stains on wallpaper in bathroom around the shower and on couch that looks like it could fold down into a bed, left over butt of a joint on the porch wall, but overall we enjoyed the clean room. Breakfast was waffles, toast, linguica like sausage (not sure what it was), yogurt, OJ, hard boiled prepackaged eggs, probably cereal, but I don't remember, a prepackaged pastry and coffee. Fruit options like bananas were lacking, they may have only been offering fruit from their on site various citrus trees. They used regular jelly jar that everyone shares instead of individual packaged condiments, which due to covid might not be a great idea. We had coffee and chose to get a hot breakfast from across the street at McDonalds. That being said there are plenty of fast food places including starbucks within walking distance, but having an onsite breakfast is always awesome and a time saver. Grounds were fun with the well maintained landscape and fruit trees. Would definitely stay here again. We were facing the freeway and there was noise, but it did not bother us.

The property is beautiful with well kept landscaping, citrus trees and flowers. Little oasis.

The AC in the first two-bedroom “suite” did not work at all. Jackson, the front desk manager, moved us into a comparable room, but the AC only worked in one of the two bedrooms. Later, “someone” started knocking on our door, and even started to come in uninvited. When I demanded to know who it was, he said he was “from the office” and came to offer us two separate rooms somewhere else on the property. I’m traveling with my sister and was not going to leave her alone in her own separate room in an already sketchy situation. If it were up to me, and I were traveling alone, I would’ve demanded a refund and gone and found a place that had working air conditioning and wasn’t so rundown.
