I stayed here for one night because it's a hot spot for photography in Japan. The hotel offers the best views, with the perfect harmony of Lake Shoji and Mt. Fuji. Waking up in the morning and seeing Fuji's view directly from the room is simply the best.

Great location for Mount Fuji (it’s just in front of u) There were 2 types of breakfast offered by the hotel… I personally recommend the traditional Japanese breakfast nom nom!!! Also, ask the friendly staff for free bicycles ride (1 hr)

The location is a bit out of the way, but the upside is how quiet it is. You have a great chance of seeing a clear Mount Fuji in the mornings, and there are lake and mountain views right outside. The hotel is conveniently located right by the bus stop. It was a great experience staying one night at Lake Shoji. The sunrise over Mount Fuji was absolutely beautiful! The Japanese breakfast wasn't the best, haha, but it was still an experience. The hotel room was also great and spacious! The air conditioning wasn't very strong, but the staff brought us a small heater. The staff even helped us take photos when we checked out!
