This house is very clean and tidy, the service is very good, although not close to Kawaguchiko, in fact, not far from the Koh Samui, and there is a supermarket nearby, 100 meters there is a roast meat shop, very convenient, the most unfortunately in the bad weather, can not see Mount Fuji from the room, very recommended for families to stay

The location is excellent—it’s conveniently close to Lake Kawaguchi and offers easy access to local attractions and transportation. The highlight, however, was the stunning view of Mount Fuji from my room. Waking up to that iconic view was absolutely breathtaking and made my stay unforgettable. The room itself was quite old but well-maintained. While the decor felt a bit dated, everything was clean, functional, and comfortable. The space was adequate, and the upkeep showed that the hotel takes pride in maintaining its facilities. I opted for the half-board meal plan, and the food was decent. The dinner and breakfast offerings were varied, with Japanese options. While not gourmet, the meals were satisfying and provided good value for the price. The public onsen was another highlight of my stay. It was clean, relaxing, and offered a peaceful way to unwind after a day of exploring. The soothing hot springs with a view of the surrounding nature added to the overall experience. Overall, the Royal Hotel Kawaguchiko is a solid choice for those looking for a comfortable stay with a fantastic view of Mount Fuji, decent meals, and a relaxing onsen experience. While the rooms could use a modern update, the cleanliness and maintenance make up for it. I would definitely consider staying here again!

The hotel is located in a very scenic and serene environment with lake view and a park nearby. As we have stayed for 2 nights, the breakfast and dinners served were different.

Luggage lockers available, easy to get to from station. Staff just expect you to get on with things and not so helpful but that’s not an issue as everything is pretty self explanatory. Would stay again.

I arrived at Kawaguchiko Station in the afternoon and decided to leave my luggage at a locker near the station before visiting Oshino Hakkai. I returned to the station around 5 PM to retrieve my luggage and called the hotel to inquire about their FREE Shuttle Bus service. Luckily, I caught the shuttle bus back to the hotel in time. The driver was very polite and helpful, assisting me with my luggage both ways. The hotel had a nice and standard atmosphere, both inside and out. The staff at the lobby were friendly and spoke excellent English. They were able to provide me with all the information needed. My room was a 20 square meter Lake View Room with a stunning view of Mount Fuji. It had two single beds, a desk and chairs The entrance had a large mirror and the storage space. Unfortunately, the remaining space in the room was too small to fully open my 28-inch suitcase. Luckily, I was alone, so I used the second bed to store my belongings. The bathroom was small but well-equipped with a shower, bathtub, and an automatic toilet. The onsen was located on the 6th floor and was divided into male and female sections. It was clean and spacious. However, around 8-10 PM, it got quite crowded. If you're not accustomed to this culture, you might want to visit during the morning. (Operated Time : 3PM-2AM & 5-10 AM) The hotel restaurant offered a variety of dishes. I checked the menu and decided to purchase a dinner coupon at the lobby. The dinner buffet was served from 6-9 PM. Breakfast (7-9AM) was included in my package and was slightly different from dinner. Overall, the food was decent but not exceptional. I recommend arriving early for dinner to avoid the crowds. Key Points: - The hotel offers a free shuttle bus service every 30 minutes between the hotel and Kawaguchiko Station. - There are no convenience stores near the hotel. The hotel's convenience store has limited options. - There is only one restaurant near the hotel, and it's only open for lunch. If you don't have a car, your dining options are limited to the hotel's buffet or instant ramen (from hotel's convenient store at Lobby 1st floor).

The location is more suitable for driving to, much like being in a forest resort. Although the rooms show signs of age, the space is very spacious and comfortable. While it's a bit inconvenient to walk a distance to reach the hot springs within the resort, it can still be considered a pleasant stroll.

The hotel can’t see Mount Fuji but the view of Kawaguchiko lake is just so good. The breakfast provided is damm yummy, and a lot of choices. There is a traditional room of tatami style, is super comfortable. Just the only bad is the hotel location I felt like quite far from the station, and hard to get taxi during night time. The nearest restaurant from the hotel have some distance, I suggest to having dinner in the hotel will be more convenient.
