Meliá Durrës Albania

Great hotel in a fantastic location, ideal to rest and recharge batteries. Rooms are top and the facilities are stunning. You can tell that the country is opening to tourism and therefore there are still a few things they need to improve to adapt to tourists needs, but isn’t that normal? There seems to be a Spanish team helping the site team to adapt more quickly to customer expectations and seems to be working. Give it a try and you will not be disappointed. Bani and Arsalan at casa nostra made our stay a delight so ask for them if around

Wonderful vacations because everything was perfect, the place was always clean,the food was delicios and the staff were always ready to help us politely! I recomend all hotel restaurants because we taste all the delicious meals, especially Level restaurant.

Second time at Melia Durres and definitely I can say that is the best place to be in Albania. We had great vacations, the location is helpful , everywhere was clean, the swimming pools are amazing ,the staff (even the manager )are so kindly and always ready to help us ...and the quality of food is on top 🙂...

It is a really good place for a couple holiday. Food is ok but not to much drink in a bar. In different bars the taste of drinks could be different. In area isn’t bus stop or cars rent. But in recepction can call for a taxi to the capital. High standard hotel but in the middle of nowhere.

Great hotel, very nice restaurants and bars. Morning buffet was exceptional, big variety of choices. Service was superb in all restaurants and bars. Great nature and very nice SPA. We really enjoyed our stay amd will definitwly come back again

Beach bar Klaudio Viktor Klarens gave a great service. Place is quite and food on a high level. Rooms are large large, with a bathtub, two sinks and a spacious balcony. Next to the very long pool there is plenty of space and the pool depth goes to very shallow to deep. Seems like some Caribean resort but for a far lower $

We've just returned from a week’s all-inclusive holiday at Melia Durres and have to say the Hotel and Albania as a whole was a wonderful experience. When I booked the holiday, I incorrectly chose B&B rather than all inclusive but this was changed on arrival within minutes by the very friendly and professional reception staff. Our bags were then taken to our room and during the walk the bell boy gave us a tour of the hotel, showing us all the restaurants, bars and pool areas. The room was huge and very clean. The room was cleaned every day without fail to a very high standard with water supplied into the mini bar on a daily basis. The food in the buffet was really good and it never felt repetitive though maybe a few more “snack” type meals at lunch could be an idea. Though saying that there is the “Grab and Go” bar where they have burgers, hot dogs, baguettes and salads. Our favourite lunch time meal was the takeaway pizza from Cassa Nostra which is included in the all-inclusive. These pizzas were knockout!! Evening buffet was also very good and the ala carte meals were all very good too. There’s the Italian, previously mentioned, as well as a fish restaurant and the food and service at both was excellent all be it a little rushed in the Italian! The pool area is kept very clean and I also appreciated the guy who moved towels from beds that were obviously not in use but someone thought they’d bag them for no reason! Finally, the bars. We had no waiting for drinks and the guys working table service in the Plaza Bar were very professional and attentive, having a quick chat if it was quiet and genuinely interested in the conversation to be had! All in all we had a terrific time and will definitely be returning the Albania in the future….

We have just returned from a 5 night stay in the Melia Durres hotel, and this was truly a trip to remember. The staff went above and beyond to cater to every need and there was no request too much. The pool is huge and the swim up bar is a great feature - thanks to Silvisa and the team for their service! I would recommend to anyone visiting Albania.
