Very clean and very friendly staff but questioned me about not having paid for my room and it was paid in full through trip very strange

Our room was at the front of the hotel on the 3rd floor and the road noise kept us awake alot. The room could have been cleaner, stains on the carpet and the bath wasnt clean it had hairs in it. Breakfast was good for a buffet. Staff lovely and friendly.

We rang a couple of hours ahead of check-in and asked to cancel the fourth breakfast for our three nights as I had to tend to my sick mother and sister for the weekend. The lady at the reception told us that she could not do that and that I had to contact ******* whom we booked the room through. ******* were terrible and told us three different stories as we had to ring three times and spend an hour working at it to make sense of what we needed to do resulting in much unnecessary stress. When my wife arrived, the person at reception at the hotel cancelled the fourth breakfast straight away. I wish to complain that I was given this incorrect information resulting in this unnecessary stress in what was supposed to be a relaxing weekend.

The good: Complimentary parking! The reception staff was awesome--very welcoming and informative! Our room was nice and very clean with no offensive odors, etc. We slept extremely well on the comfortable beds and enjoyed a very large tub (great if you're tall and like baths!) with waterfall shower head. The room was also very spacious with plenty of room to store clothing and multiple suitcases. The hotel was in close proximity to the bus which made going into the city center/returning a breeze! The breakfast bar was also hot, fresh, and delicious and reservations were very easy to make. The bar also served up delicious fare. Both had numerous delicious, vegetarian-friendly options.
Opportunities for improvements: The room had some minor cosmetic flaws (slight water spotting on the wall/ceiling, a few carpet stains, a few small wall dings). The toilet pressure was a little low and we often needed to flush multiple times to clear the bowl of paper. It would also have been nice if the hotel had a water fountain where guest could fill their reusable water bottles. Still, since they were willing to fill them in the bar and the room provided cartoned water, this is a minor suggestion. Overall it was a lovely stay and none of the items noted above significantly detracted from it or made us reconsider if we'd stay again in the future.

This property was affordable, clean, easy to access the city, and last but not least the staff were excellent. I needed assistance to get my CPAP machine connected, and the gal working just down from our room took the time to stop what she was doing to assist. Absolutely so thankful for her. Other staff were always helpful and friendly as well. Highly recommended!

Handy for the motorway and ring road. A little out of town to walk. But bus stops outside. (didnt use it)

Mid term break , two parents & 3 kids (17 , 13 & 8 yr old) stayed in a very comfortable family room . Very clean , staff very helpful , nice leisure facility & nice breakfast. Used the bus service in and out of Galway which was cheap & on time .
