Chulia Heritage Hotel Reviews

I stayed at Chulia Heritage Hotel for 2 nights. The location is very convenient, and the room was clean and tidy. The hotel staff were also quite good. I stayed in a Deluxe Double Room, but the room was relatively small. The bathroom, in particular, was very small, and the bathroom door was also small. While getting up from the toilet seat, my head hit the wall. There is a steel stopper for the door, which poses a risk of injury when using the dressing area and mirror. The Wi-Fi was slow, and there was a mosquito problem, but no mosquito repellent was provided.

The accommodation is quiet and clean, with convenient amenities and transportation. Highly recommended.

Nice view and i like stay at this hotel. Staff very helpfull and nice. I travel with my friend and my friend also like this hotel. We like to stay again for next trip

Old mansion but renovated. Room is spacious, staffs are helpful and friendly. Overall okie.

Good location, public bus stops right outside the hotel, ample parking space, nightlife spot, clean room, friendly staff.

Good location, easy access to Georgetown tourist places and wide veriaty of restaurants, pub, hawker food and cafe to choose. Room is clean and friendly staffs.

Location is superb. Parked our car at the hotel’s and walked to nearby attractions eg. Penang road and chew jetty,etc. only downside is that the furniture and curtains are rather old with some stains, and they do not provide toiletries such as disposable toothbrush and hair shampoo.

The room was so small, lacking basic facilities like power point's, light switch near the bed, basic desk or table. Anything had to be stored on the floor. Not suitable for two travellers.

The best thing about this hotel is location. Easy walk to any type of food and night life. Friendly staff. Quiet location. Strangest shower water heater, controlled by a switch amongst numerous wall switches located next to the exterior door. Upper floors undergoing renovation.

Excellent location within walking distance to lots of food and landmarks. Staffs was very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable.will repeat again👍🏻

It was good and clean. Strategic location, central to many places especially when scouting for local food. Walkable to the places we wanted to visit. But the room is small and the bathroom is very small with a rain shower almost above the toilet seat and it wet the whole place. But other than that we were quite happy with the hotel. Friendly staff.

Dreadful stay. Upon checking in i could see the bed was ROCK hard. I asked for refund as only booked that day as i knew i was not going to get any sleep. The management refused so i sat in the room counting minutes to daytime with NO sleep. I dont uunderstand why hoteliers are not understanding as this was extreme for me. Strong paint smell in room. Bathroom full of fruit flies. Does not resemble any heritage Rooms on outside subject to loud music til early hours

Good location. Very convenient to shop or dine around. Quiet at night. Friendly & helpful staff. Excellent value for money. Only critic is the shower at the ceiling.
