From check in to check out we were in Heaven staying here. It was so adorable inside the lobby area. The room overlooked the river with a beautiful balcony. Cute little touches like caramels in the room, fresh baked cookies, and continental breakfast. The rooms was immaculate and adorable. So comfortable and cozy. We loved every 2nd of our stay over New Year's Eve.

A nice little spot in grand Haven right across the street from the river and just a couple of blocks from downtown. We love the location! We have stayed here before, but never on the first floor. This time we were in room #1. It is right next to the back door. The back door does not have a soft closure mechanism, so it slammed continually into the night, and in the morning. People were going in and out continually through this door.
Maybe it was a much more active night and evening, since it was New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day. Other than that, we had a lovely stay.

Charming Inn in a great location. The only surprise was a room on the top floor without a working elevator. Luckily us 70 year olds were healthy enough to climb 3 flights of stairs with luggage.

Was a lovely, cosy little place. Rooms were clean and warm; location is fantastic as it's only a five minute walk away from great restaurants, and maybe a ten minute walk away from the boardwalk. The elderly lady innkeeper was also extremely kind. The entire stay felt like a more personable and warmer experience than a usual hotel chain. Would visit again.

We should have know better when we were booking our reservation as the website is not very clear regarding this property.
When we arrived the heat was not on and we had to call to have someone come out fix it and get it running. You do not have access to the main house for any of their amenities. You do not have a view of the water. The bathroom had prior tenants hair in the shower and in the floor. The baseboards are dirty and the couch needs to go.
They have a coffee pot but no coffee, creamer and sugar.
They don’t have any literature on the radiator or local dining and activities.
For the price we paid per night we should not have encountered all of the above issues.
