The receptionist was unfriendly and then our friends were given a very small room as a replacement (probably intended as a single room). The paths to the rooms in the neighboring building are anything but 4 star."

"We were warmly received and received all the important information immediately. Our room was very beautiful and lovely equipped and we sleeped very well. In the morning we were deserved with a breakfast buffet which meets every wish. And in the evening we could enjoy our slum drink in the cozy living room. One more point is that you can buy cool drinks at cheap prices at any time at the machine. Thanks to the nearby bus stop you are also very quickly back in Graz and back. The only point is that our room had no minibar, but they also came to us and we could use the refrigerator from the hotel"

"The suite was large and comfortable, while the standard double room was much smaller. The hotel is quite historic, so the facilities are relatively new. The mattress and pillows were averagely comfortable, but the rooftop view was quite good. It's close to the pedestrian street and attractions, and valet parking is available. The downside is the poor soundproofing, which is truly terrible."

"My stay at the Wiesler Hotel went beyond my expectations. I booked the tiny room because I am not fussy about having a big room. When I entered the room I was disappointed because the bed was above ground level and that it's a no no for lumbago sufferers, such as I. The size was actually quite decent, certainly no 'tiny' at all, and so was the bathroom but the bed put me off. I walked down to the reception desk, and I asked for an upgrade. I told the senior gentleman at the desk (could he be the general manager or even the owner?) that I did no like the bed without footboard. He was most understanding and he issued 2 keys for me to check and to choose from the Comfort bedroom and the Grand bedroom. I chose the former -the bed had a proper footboard, legs and headboard. He offered me to stay at the Grand for the same price of the Comfort, I was very pleased by the kind offer but I said that I was happy to go for the Comfort. As he insisted I accepted the Grand bedroom, which has the size of a one-bed apartment. The location is spot on: it's right in the city centre with views to the river Mur in front. I had the buffet breakfast in my last day too and I highly recommend it if you enjoy a good quality and varied breakfast. I've tried the local red wine too at the bar in the lounge, which was excellent and at a surprising low price- after all this is Austria! The decoration of the rooms aren't the typical you find in a 4 stars hotel with history and the curious eye has seen in the lobby's beautiful colour lithographs that the hotel has changed its style a few times over the last century. But it won't put me off to stay back tat the Weisler next time I am in Graz."

The room was spacious, and the hotel even has a kitchen for guests to use for cooking. It's about a 25-minute walk to the castle, which is easily manageable without needing to take a bus or taxi."

"This was the perfect spot for a short stay in Graz. A lovely hotel, rooms have great character, and are clean and spacious, and everything is within a short, safe walk - the river, the pedestrian streets, town hall and restaurants. They have a cheap parking deal with a garage a few blocks away, but there’s a short stay spot out front so you can drop your bags and then head off and park. Graz is a fabulous city, and Boutique Hotel Dom has everything you need for a perfect stay."
