Super hotel. Amazing staff and the most perfect location in the resort. Paulo the wine waiter was a joy, Nando from front of house was the perfect host. Food was super. Rooms lovely and spacious (rm 111). Ski room roasting. Best spot in gressoney for access to all slopes. Enjoy!

Everything about Chalet du Lys was great, a perfect place for a short ski break. Lovely restaurant, good food, great atmosphere. The most wonderful staff we have ever encountered. Gina and the entire restaurant staff were fabulous, Special mention to Nando who couldn't do enough for us, also to the two gorgeous friendly barmen who were on every night, who's names I've forgotten. Our only criticism is that the cosy little Irish Bar, Gordon's didn't stock Guinness, would've thought it a MUST for an Irish Bar. Nonetheless, we had a wonderful time there and the staff made sure we had the best seat for the Ireland Rugby match. We will definitely return to Chalet du Lys. Couldn't recommend it enough. Also important to say that we found it very reasonably priced and great value for money. Looking forward to our next visit. A happy gang from Ireland 🇮🇪

Stayed at the chalet du plus in March with some friends for a ski trip. We were lucky to arrive after a massive dump of snow. The hotel is very good and staff very welcoming. Check in very easy and we were given a twin room on the 2nd floor. Room was warm and comfortable albeit a bit small. Beds comfy and the shower was always hot. food in the hotel is great. breakfast was plentiful with hot and cold options. You get to choose your evening meal in the morning which was 4 delightful courses. our waiter Paulo was excellent and would always recommend a good wine for dinner. Gordons bar is small but very nice in the evenings to have a drink and watch some sport. the hotel also has an excellent outdoor pool and sauna to relax muscles after a day on the slopes. the spa in the basement is also excellent. also in the basement is the large ski boot room. this was very warm and spacious bit unfortunately did not have individual boot dryers. it takes about 2-3 minutes to walk from boot room to the lifts. overall a fantastic stay. would i return. yes booked to go back

We knew when booking that this restaurant had a conference, and with hindsight we should have been more circumspect and the restaurant should not have accepted our table booking. The menu was quite limited, a buffet appetiser was available but it had already been quite well tucked into by other guests and didn’t look appetising. My starter was supposed yo be with hazelnuts but instead came with bacon and was greasy. A steak asked for medium came rare. My grilled vegetables came on someone else’s plate and the waiter clearly wanted us to scrape them off. When fresh ones came they were surprisingly tasteless. Service was perfunctory. Overall a disappointment.

Beatiful hotel and spa just close to the cable services. Personels are quite cute and always ready to catch any need. Room is confortable and silence. Regarding the Grange restaurant, inside the hotel, I had excellent dinners during my stay. A particular mention to the pastry chef: his creams are exceptional.

The hotel is located close to the gondola ski lift - some 200 meters of easy walking from the spacious ski room to the lift. The hotel is has a relaxed, friendly atmosphere that includes the staff as well as the guests. Like visiting a close friend at his/her house. The building isn't new, but kept clean and fresh enough for customers focusing on skiing rather than staying all day long in their rooms. Nothing really to complain about, everything just works in a smooth manner. The breakfast buffet is good. No extravaganza, but everything offered is tasty and without the so common chaos. The staff is very friendly, especially the waitress Gina, who took pride in serving us in the best way possible, despite some language barriers. A warm smile and gestures takes you a long way. The dinner started with a generous sallad buffe, after which a three course meny is served with three options for the 1st and main course, and two desserts, all pre-ordered the evening before. Decent wine selection at affordable prices, typically 30 euros a bottle. The spa in the hotel was perfectly fine. Indoor and outdoor pools for comfortable relaxing, two saunas, carwash type of alley with hot and cold showers. Massages were offered as well, but we didnt try those. All in all - strong recommendation.

I have just left Chalet du Lys after a week skiing. What a lovely hotel. We stayed in a Premium room which was very spacious, had a large balcony looking over the slopes and had a large bathroom with hairdryer and great hot shower. The food was really good, there were 3 options for each course at dinner and we always found something we’d like from the choices, the wine list wasn’t too expensive either. Our waiter Paolo was fantastic. He always greeted us with a smile and was very efficient and friendly all week. The spa was a really great facility. We had a massage which was brilliant. Really needed after a few days skiing and not too badly priced for 50 minutes. There were sometimes children in the spa who were messing about which was a shame. All the staff were so friendly, Nando in particular couldn’t do enough for us. I went into Gordon’s bar for a drink on my last night and the bar staff were busy and the owner who was having drinks with friends got up and served me straight away which was great Overall a fantastic find, great location just a couple of mins walk from lifts (or ski in and out if more snow) and a quaint little village with a couple of bars and restaurants We would definately return

My sister and I stayed here for a weeks skiing holiday and we can not praise the hotel highly enough. The hotel is welcoming and full of character. There are lots of interesting artefacts dotted around. The room was spacious, well equipped, and spotlessly clean. The facilities are excellent - lots of lounge space to relax after skiing or after dinner. Games room for the kids, lovely spa for the adults - it's a shame that some parents don't respect the hotels rules regarding children in the spa area. We both enjoyed an excellent massage from Anna-belle, who was very professional and a brilliant masseuse. The food was excellent - too much for my sister and I, but that would be a positive for most. An excellent buffet breakfast and salad buffet in the evening followed by 3 delicious choices for each of the following 3 courses. But what really makes this hotel special is the staff who were all professional, friendly and helpful throughout the week. A special mention must be made of Paulo our waiter, who was friendly, attentive and just lovely, and Nando on reception who went over and above to make us feel welcome and ensure that we were happy with every aspect of our stay. We will definitely try to come back to Chalet du Lys. After just one week, we feel like friends.
