DeMu is located at beijing Road, very convenient, walking 2 mins to reach Beijing road. 大佛寺is just at the side of the building. Downstairs have a food street open until 5am. 7- eleven just by the building level 1. 8 floor have a nice restaurant. Building itself is quite old, but doesn't affect the cleanliness inside the room. Room is quite big for 6 people staying but only have 1 toilet. The service is good.
Response from Property: Haha, it's the building where our apartment is located that is old, not our room. This building was delivered in 2016 and is located in a popular area. There's nothing we can do about it.

If you are looking for a unit to stay in Guangzhou in the middle of the city and within walking distance to Beijing Lu, DeMu apartments will be your best choice! We stayed 5 nights with 7 person comfortably in our unit facing the Canton Towers. The building is right above Beijing Lu where night life is amazing, shopping is fantastic and eating variety is 💯💯 mind blowing! It's also walking distance to Beijing Lu Metro (500m) and the Buddha Temple is just around the corner. Overall, the team have been responsive, Unit satisfactory and cleanliness acceptable. If you expect hotel standards, you should stay in a hotel but if you are like us, realistic, this is good value for money. Happy to return here when we visit GZ again!

Overall, we are very satisfied with the environment and services of this homestay. We sincerely appreciate the help and patience of Mr. Fan. He has been extremely kind and helpful, especially with assisting us in locating our delayed baggage while it was in transit to the homestay. The homestay itself is cozy, spacious, and clean. We are truly enjoying our stay here. The location is also excellent—just a 10-minute walk to the shops on Beijing Road, where we can easily find meals and do some shopping. Once again, we would like to express our gratitude for the homestay help in receiving our parcel and kindly delivering it to our room. A lot of information was shared with us before our arrival. We obtained responsive and prompt response from Mr Fan even in the midnight. Thanks for his consideration and patience.

We had a wonderful experience staying at Demu. The contact person was consistently helpful and quick to respond—they even allowed us to check in three hours earlier than the standard check-in time. My family and I had a great time during our stay in Guangzhou.

The apartment looks exactly like the photos. It is a warm and cozy apartment, my families and I spent good time in this apartment for 4 nights. The location is perfect, 3 -5 mins walk to Beijing Road and the big buddha temple. Check in process were smooth and easy, the person in charge was really nice to guide us and help to bring our luggage to the room. They also help to receive all the parcels we bought earlier before we checked in. The apartment has all the amenities that you need, they are also quick response to all your enquiries through WeChat. We will stay again if we are back to GZ. Thanks!

Excellent for families. Nice room with 2 queen beds in the loft, and one sofa bed on the main floor. Within walking distance of key sights like Beijing Street and the Guangdong Museum.

Location is super near Beijing Pedestrian Walk and Tianhe Mall! Check in process was easy. Housekeeper was friendly and accommodating. Overall good experience for non fussies.

Great hospitality of reception who accommodated us even though we made a mistake in the location of the stay. My group was given 2 apartments at a different location, but the hostel was willing to make some adjustments and allowed us to stay where we arrived at. We were able to have a view of the city from our window. The apartment has a loft that consist of two queen size beds, with a third bed in the living room. The stay was comfortable, clean, and well equipped. The apartment came with a washing machine, hair dryer, a small fridge. The heated toilet seat was a welcome surprise in the cold weather. However, the disposable towels were something we need to get us to. The shower door of 1618 was not gliding well. Getting around was easy with Didi ride in the wechat app, very affordable and convenient. Many restaurants around the area.

Location was fantastic and we are right in the middle of the cultural district with interesting cafes and super close proximity to popular tourist spot Beijing Road. There were plenty of food options downstairs of the building the apartment was located in including a chuan chuan place that opens till 5am in the morning! Beds were a tad firmer but overall we had quite a good rest. There are 3 queen sized beds so this place is good for a group of friends or families. However do note that there is only one bathroom which I find too few for such a big group. Though, there wasn't any problem with hot water and there's also a washing machine for those who need it. Service was top notch as the butlers of the apartment made sure to help us on the arrangement of our airport transfer and given that we had an early flight, they tried their best to allow us to store our luggage which ended up as an early check in to our surprise. They also helped us to manage our taobao orders everyday which was wonderful. Thank you! P.s. They provide toothbrushes and shampoo/body wash. They also provide disposable towels - my suggestion is to bring your own towel if you're uncomfortable with using that.

We booked a Duplex Four-Bedroom apartment which stated that it could accommodate up to 8 guests. Don’t be misled by this as there is only 1 bathroom cum toilet! We have 5 guest and took us about an hour to take turns to use the toilet. The bathroom is not well maintained… leaking at times. The hall is not as spacious as it looks on the picture. Overall, the rooms are clean. Outside, we need to wait for lift which serves even and odd floor and building quite old. The only good thing about this place is located near to Beijing road where there are lots of eateries and shopping complex.
Response from Property: We clearly indicate on the platform how many rooms, bathrooms, beds, and the maximum number of people that can accommodate each suite. The key point is, the maximum number of people that can accommodate each suite. When you made the reservation, you can clearly see that there is only one bathroom. You made the reservation voluntarily and no one can force you. We have large rooms with two bathrooms, which are only one-third more expensive. Why don't you book it? You five ladies are staying here, and when you come back in the evening you take turns taking a bath for an hour. This is already very fast. This fully proves that our electric water heater is powerful enough to provide hot water for five people to take turns taking a bath for an hour. The five of you took turns taking a shower, going in and out. It's not our bathroom that's leaking. It's the bath water running down your bodies and the water from your shoes. Our bathroom is not leaking. When you go out traveling, we have four beds, so five of you can live together. We have a kitchen, a washing machine and a dryer, and convenient transportation. It only takes an hour for five people to take a shower. Of course, this is not as good as at home, where you can take a shower whenever you want without having to wait. We can't really do the same thing as you would at home, since we don't have a room with five bathrooms.
