🌿 Great Emotional Value, Though Some Details Need Improvement I recently stayed at La Mere Ancienne in Guiyang. Overall, it was a warm experience, but there were some ups and downs. The Highlights: The ”Emotional Value” here is excellent. The nine-grid breakfast was both beautiful and delicious, especially the authentic beef rice noodles. Since it wasn't crowded, the waiter spent a lot of time chatting with the elderly members of our family, sharing many interesting fun facts, which made them very happy. We also received a beautiful tie-dye silk scarf as a parting gift. Later on, the staff was patient enough to upgrade our room, and the Yao herbal bath was perfect for removing all our fatigue. The Downsides: However, the check-in process left something to be desired. Although the room features a private herbal bath, the staff didn't proactively offer or deliver the herbs until we asked. Additionally, we were told that the afternoon snacks were already sold out when we arrived. Summary: While the initial service was a bit passive, the subsequent hospitality and the unique atmosphere made up for it. A solid choice, but I hope they can improve their proactiveness during check-in!

Of all the places I visited on this trip, Libo was the most satisfying. Before coming to Guizhou, I rarely chose guesthouses, whether for business or leisure, because the quality of a guesthouse really tests the owner's ability and character, including key aspects such as cleanliness, price, and reasonable room conditions. Yu She's rooms were excellent in terms of layout and cleanliness, the view from the windows was beautiful, and the common areas were well-equipped and well-furnished. I really liked the wet rice noodles for breakfast. Getting around, taking taxis, and finding restaurants nearby were all very convenient. It was also very quiet at night, which was great for light sleepers. I'm very grateful to the owner for the complimentary bayberry soup. I will definitely visit Libo again if I have the chance!

This stay completely exceeded my expectations! The guesthouse's common areas are designed so comfortably, with a clean and soothing natural wood-style lounge area that's perfect for chatting or reading. The room details are also spot-on – clean, tidy, and with bedding so comfortable you won't want to get up. The biggest surprise was the scenery in the courtyard. The pavilions and rockeries, paired with lush greenery, made strolling around feel like wandering through a small Jiangnan garden, creating an absolutely incredible atmosphere. The owner and staff were all super enthusiastic and accommodating, always ready to help and recommending great local spots to eat and explore, which were all fantastic. I had a comfortable stay and a wonderful time. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit and highly recommend it to everyone!

This time in Libo, I stumbled upon a great guesthouse. From an environmental perspective, it's not huge but has a very personal touch. Built into the hillside and backing onto the Zhangjiang River, it's a quiet and secluded retreat – truly refreshing. Waking up to a rooster crowing in the morning and falling asleep to the sound of crickets at night, with mountains and water right outside your door – it’s a big thumbs up from me. Now, let's talk about the amenities – there's a lot to say! While everyone else was visiting the main attractions, we were exploring the back mountain, enjoying the beauty of an 'empty mountain with no one in sight.' We caught rabbits, picked fruit, chased butterflies, did some rubbings, and played house. The kids were sweaty but absolutely delighted, having such a great time they forgot all about home. No crowds, double the relaxation, deep breaths of fresh air, and a slow pace – another big thumbs up. Often, the unexpected sights you encounter on a trip are far more charming than anything you plan for. Spontaneous, natural relaxation is truly the meaning of travel!

The lady proprietor of this minsu is very hospitable and responsive. It is clear she works hard to operate the minsu and it is reflected in the standard of cleanliness and hygiene. The towels were all good quality, clean and individually sealed. The dining cutlery too were all sealed in sets. The room was clean and spacious. It had many considerate touch points for convenience and comfort such as the in-room massage chairs, XiaoDu home assistant and a tea-making settee. The breakfast had a good range of options like a buffet which is impressive ! The chef does very decent dinners too. We felt very safe and comfortable staying there for the duration of our trip to Libo Xiaoqikong. Thank you and I wish your business continues to grow and see more overseas guests!

The driver not only helped us with our luggage but also enthusiastically shared local travel tips on the way – like which attractions to avoid during peak hours and where to find the most authentic snacks. It felt like chatting with an old friend, and the fatigue from our journey instantly melted away. When we checked out, we even asked the driver to help us take our luggage to the station. The service was thoughtful and thorough from start to finish – the driver deserves a big tip! 2. **Room Experience:** We were so happy the owner upgraded our room for free! The room was very clean and smart, equipped with a voice assistant and a smart toilet. The sheets and duvet covers were spotless, the bedding was super soft, and the pillows were just the right height, ensuring a great night's sleep. Waking up to the sound of birds chirping in the morning was incredibly pleasant. Highly recommended! 3. **Service Details:** Beyond the impressive amenities, the service was truly a bonus! The front desk staff patiently answered all our questions during check-in and even gave us tips for visiting Xiaoqikong Scenic Area! **Summary:** From pick-up to check-out, every aspect of our stay showed the hotel's dedication and care. If I ever visit this city again, this hotel will definitely be my first choice! I strongly recommend it to anyone who values attention to detail and a great experience. I was extremely satisfied with my stay. When choosing a hotel, I saw many positive reviews for this place and was worried they might be fake, but it turned out to be exactly as described online. The entire guesthouse was clean and tidy, the rooms were spacious and bright with good natural light, and there were no unpleasant odors. The restaurant on the first floor is quite large and offers a variety of local specialties at reasonable prices. There's also a swimming pool downstairs, and the night view is beautiful. I highly recommend it, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Libo.

The place is beautiful and everything in the room was so modern and comfortable. The manager even picked us up from nearby location when we didn’t get a cab. The food was also customised to suit preferences. I wish I had more time, I’d love to stay for more days. The whole team was so hospitable and helpful. Whatever we needed was arranged as per requirement. I miss the kids of the family so much. Highly recommend the place and will definitely come back in future. I booked this hotel because of the large room. The room is really big and newly renovated. The yard is very large and you can park freely. The front desk service is very good. The two girls not only sent breakfast but also changed my room after hearing my complaints about mosquitoes. I originally planned to stay for two days, but because of the temporary adjustment of the itinerary, I needed to check out one day earlier. The hotel readily agreed and was very accommodating to the guests. The hotel service is really good! The mosquito problem that I was worried about did not bother me. It was just that maybe it was raining every day and the temperature was high these two days, and the bed in the room was very damp, which was very regrettable.

Facilities: It seems many guesthouses here don't have elevators, but this one does, so no need to carry heavy luggage up stairs, which is great! 😁😁 The smart toilet was also a pleasant surprise. Cleanliness: Very clean and tidy, extremely satisfied. Environment: There's a small courtyard with a beautiful bougainvillea archway. Lots of stars at night, and the windows offer views of distant mountains and water—a truly picturesque scene. Service: The park was closed for the past two days, but the owner called us in advance to let us know, and we still came as planned. Since many shops were closed and we couldn't find anything to eat, the owner personally cooked noodles for us—super delicious! We loved it! We also got to enjoy some tea from the owner 😏 The owner even upgraded our room for free! We didn't see the Big and Small Seven Arches this time, but we'll definitely come back next time and stay here again!
