Super location. 3 mins walk to restaurants & Xiaoqikong Scenic. Love the modern Chinese decor. Home stay Boss is warm & friendly, helpful in giving advice to Xiaoqikong. Room is bright & spacious, 3 seater sofa, study table chair, tea area, open concept bath tub, toilet bowl with auto flush, seat warmer, bidget. Cleanliness 10/10. Probably the newest & nicest home stayin that area. Highly recommend

🌿 Great Emotional Value, Though Some Details Need Improvement
I recently stayed at La Mere Ancienne in Guiyang. Overall, it was a warm experience, but there were some ups and downs.
The Highlights:
The ”Emotional Value” here is excellent. The nine-grid breakfast was both beautiful and delicious, especially the authentic beef rice noodles. Since it wasn't crowded, the waiter spent a lot of time chatting with the elderly members of our family, sharing many interesting fun facts, which made them very happy. We also received a beautiful tie-dye silk scarf as a parting gift. Later on, the staff was patient enough to upgrade our room, and the Yao herbal bath was perfect for removing all our fatigue.
The Downsides:
However, the check-in process left something to be desired. Although the room features a private herbal bath, the staff didn't proactively offer or deliver the herbs until we asked. Additionally, we were told that the afternoon snacks were already sold out when we arrived.
Summary: While the initial service was a bit passive, the subsequent hospitality and the unique atmosphere made up for it. A solid choice, but I hope they can improve their proactiveness during check-in!

We are two couples from the United States. We picked Yunshang Jianli Homestay because of its very high rating. After spending two nights there, we concur with their rating. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The homestay is very conveniently located. It is a short walk to the East Gate of the Xiaoqikong Scenic area as well as to the shuttle station to the Libo High Speed Train Station. The staff, from the manager to the housekeepers to the homestay restaurant’s cook, was friendly, helpful and personable. Speaking of the restaurant, we ate there both nights and each dish was excellent. We highly recommend the fish soup, which might have been the best fish soup we have ever had. Their high rating is well earned.

Guest UserThis time in Libo, I stumbled upon a great guesthouse. From an environmental perspective, it's not huge but has a very personal touch. Built into the hillside and backing onto the Zhangjiang River, it's a quiet and secluded retreat – truly refreshing. Waking up to a rooster crowing in the morning and falling asleep to the sound of crickets at night, with mountains and water right outside your door – it’s a big thumbs up from me.
Now, let's talk about the amenities – there's a lot to say! While everyone else was visiting the main attractions, we were exploring the back mountain, enjoying the beauty of an 'empty mountain with no one in sight.' We caught rabbits, picked fruit, chased butterflies, did some rubbings, and played house. The kids were sweaty but absolutely delighted, having such a great time they forgot all about home. No crowds, double the relaxation, deep breaths of fresh air, and a slow pace – another big thumbs up.
Often, the unexpected sights you encounter on a trip are far more charming than anything you plan for. Spontaneous, natural relaxation is truly the meaning of travel!

Guest UserI was extremely satisfied with my stay. When choosing a hotel, I saw many positive reviews for this place and was worried they might be fake, but it turned out to be exactly as described online. The entire guesthouse was clean and tidy, the rooms were spacious and bright with good natural light, and there were no unpleasant odors. The restaurant on the first floor is quite large and offers a variety of local specialties at reasonable prices. There's also a swimming pool downstairs, and the night view is beautiful. I highly recommend it, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Libo.

This is a wonderful guesthouse. We arrived at Libo High-Speed Railway Station around 8 PM, and the owner was already waiting for us. He even turned on the air conditioning in our room beforehand and kindly drove us to Xiaoqikong Scenic Area the next morning. The room was spacious with a viewing platform, and the mountain views in the morning were beautiful. The breakfast prepared by the housekeeper was also delicious: a bowl of rice noodles, an egg, porridge, and steamed buns. We stayed for two nights, and the owner even drove us to the high-speed railway station when we left. I would definitely choose this guesthouse again next time.

Perfect for a family getaway. The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming and their service was exceptionally thoughtful. We had a child with us, and they didn't charge extra for the food our little one ordered. Overall, it offers great value for money. The package included afternoon tea, a Yao ethnic group bath, and a barbecue in the evening. Staying in the courtyard made time feel like it slowed down, and enjoying a barbecue and a drink in the evening was incredibly relaxing. It’s ideal for escaping the city.

Guest UserFacilities: It seems many guesthouses here don't have elevators, but this one does, so no need to carry heavy luggage up stairs, which is great! 😁😁 The smart toilet was also a pleasant surprise.
Cleanliness: Very clean and tidy, extremely satisfied.
Environment: There's a small courtyard with a beautiful bougainvillea archway. Lots of stars at night, and the windows offer views of distant mountains and water—a truly picturesque scene.
Service: The park was closed for the past two days, but the owner called us in advance to let us know, and we still came as planned. Since many shops were closed and we couldn't find anything to eat, the owner personally cooked noodles for us—super delicious! We loved it! We also got to enjoy some tea from the owner 😏 The owner even upgraded our room for free! We didn't see the Big and Small Seven Arches this time, but we'll definitely come back next time and stay here again!

Guest UserOur cave-style room truly exceeded our expectations! The walls, replicating the texture of natural rock formations, had an amazing feel, perfectly complemented by warm wood furniture and soft lighting. Even the ambient lighting under the bed at night, and the cave-like design in the bathroom, were full of thoughtful details, making for incredibly photogenic rooms. 📸 The room was spacious, the floor was so clean it reflected light, the bedding was soft and comfortable against the skin, and the round window framed the view like a natural picture frame, offering different views of the surrounding landscape on sunny or rainy days. Waking up to birdsong in the morning was incredibly relaxing. From check-in to check-out, we were constantly warmed by the hotel's service! The receptionist was enthusiastic and patient, helping us plan our Xiaoqikong Scenic Area tour in advance and thoughtfully providing tips on avoiding common tourist pitfalls. They helped bring our luggage to our room and responded quickly to any needs, even addressing our casual questions with great care. Their friendly and unobtrusive attitude made the hotel feel completely comfortable, like visiting a friend's house! I highly recommend it!
