GGuest UserAbsolutely fantastic! The breakfast was amazing, especially the super sweet fruit – the kiwi and mango were already peeled, which was a nice touch. The desserts were delicious too. The bathroom counter was huge, perfect for women. My room had a small desk right by the window, from which I could watch the changing of the guard at Syntagma Square. I stayed for 4 nights and really enjoyed sitting there and reading. Being so close to Syntagma Square, the X95 airport bus stop is just a 2-3 minute walk away, about 200 meters. The path is flat with no inclines or declines, making it easy to manage with luggage. All the major attractions are within walking distance. Across the street is the National Garden, and there's a metro station nearby – incredibly convenient! The rooftop cafe and balcony offer stunning views of the Acropolis, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and the Parliament building. I even spent New Year's Eve on the rooftop watching the fireworks. I highly recommend this hotel!

GGuest UserI recently stayed at Ermass Modern Living Apartments in Athens and overall had a pleasant experience. The property is in a very good and central location, with bus and metro connections nearby, making it easy to get around the city. It was also easy to find, which is a big plus for first-time visitors. The room was comfortable and practical, equipped with a mini-kitchen and utensils, which was convenient for light cooking. There is also a nice rooftop garden where you can relax and enjoy the view. The apartment is close to the famous Stani Greek restaurant, as well as several mini-markets for groceries and daily needs. An AC is provided, which made the stay comfortable during warmer days. A special mention and thanks to Thanos and Konstantina for their warm hospitality and constant support throughout the stay. They were very friendly, helpful, and always ready to provide useful information about places to visit, travel tips, and other local details. However, there are a few downsides to be aware of. The back side and nearby streets are not very clean, and the area does not feel very safe late at night. After around 10 PM, it’s better to avoid walking around, as we noticed several homeless individuals and people associated with ***** in the vicinity during nighttime. Overall, Ermass Modern Living Apartments offers great value, a central location, and helpful staff, but guests should be cautious about the surrounding area at night.

BBelindaChengThe hotel is in an excellent location, with restaurants, shopping areas, and historical attractions all within just a few minutes’ walk. The Premium Acropolis View & Balcony room is truly worth it. The service is outstanding — we were welcomed with champagne and desserts upon arrival, which made us feel very special. From the breakfast restaurant, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Acropolis of Athens, making the dining experience even more memorable. The fresh orange juice felt unlimited, and the staff were warm and attentive — frequently refilling water and juice. There was also a wide variety of coffee options available. The only downside was that the selection of hot breakfast items was somewhat limited. It would be wonderful if the hotel could add a live cooking or made-to-order station to further enhance the overall experience. Overall, I highly recommend staying at this hotel when visiting Athens, Greece — you will definitely not be disappointed.

CChaliqiuThe hotel's location is excellent, right next to the subway station. Check-in was efficient, and the room was quite spacious and looked very clean. Slippers and complimentary bottled water were provided, and the swimming pool was great.

GGuest UserLiked: - There is a place to keep luggage, I haven't used it but it might be useful. - Nice views. - No mold smell. The previous accommodation in Athens had this problem. - Internet worked fine. Previous accommodation had problems with it. Disliked: - AC was moldy inside. When you start it, put some light from your phone to the inside it's all grown in mold. Looks like it wasn't cleaned for a very long time. - AC is from some cheap no-name brand. It was loud and defected. When you put a desired temperature let's say 21C, it automatically switches it after a moment to a random one between 23 and 25. It was very problematic, thermometer that I had with me was showing 24C in the room during a night. I can not sleep well at such temperature, so decided I to open the window - temperature got lower, but then the sleep was disturbed by nosies coming from outside. - Online check in process is unnecessarily difficult. I was checking it later to the other place online and the form was much shorter, easier to fill. - The area isn't nice. I've been staying in two other areas of Athens so far, and both were better.

SStevenpilotI don't know why I see people giving negative reviews for only giving a bottle of water. In Europe, you generally drink tap water, and hotels also tell you that the water can be drank directly from the tap. Except that the location of this hotel is not very central (but it is within walking distance to everything, including the subway station), everything else is good. Rooms away from the street may not be very quiet, but they are still within the acceptable noise range. The air conditioner in the room is cooling normally and the wind noise is very small. The supplies are complete, including toothbrushes, toothpaste, slippers, etc. Facilities and cleanliness are great, international standards. first rate service. Pillows come in two sizes, high and soft or hard and thin. Many star hotels have to ask housekeeping to deliver them. Very plus. Overall, I paid $90 (including 10 euro city tax) for one night, which was a great value. The room itself has a value of $150-180. (As long as you are willing to walk an extra 10 minutes)

GGuest UserReview for NYX Esperia Palace Athens – Luxurious Stay with a Few Caveats We stayed at NYX Esperia Palace Athens for four full days – two couples, each in an Executive Suite with access to the business lounge. The welcome was warm and efficient, and we received our rooms exactly at 3:00 PM, as per hotel policy. The suites were clean, stylish, and well-equipped with amenities such as disposable toothbrushes, shaving kits, loofahs, a hairdryer, and more. One of our suites, located on the 7th floor, even had a partial view of the Acropolis, which was a lovely bonus. The room’s climate, lighting, and curtains were all operated through digital controls, designed to pamper guests — although, in practice, they were not very intuitive and required a bit of trial and error. For instance, turning off the bedside light required getting up and walking to a control panel. The TV included Israeli channels (11, 12, and 13), which we appreciated. Breakfast on the 10th floor was excellent, offering a wide variety of high-quality options, and the waiter service was above average. One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional care provided by Ilia, the hotel's Public Relations Manager. She guided us almost from the moment we arrived until we left — recommending excellent tavernas, booking taxis, restaurants, and arranging a private guided tour. On our last day, we were also warmly greeted by Dionysia in the lounge — charming and attentive. That said, there were some drawbacks: Reception service was inconsistent – not all staff members were welcoming; some appeared cold or offered forced smiles. The business lounge was disappointing – small, crowded, with modest food and drink offerings and uninspiring seating. It felt more like a repurposed room than a proper lounge. The pools require advance reservation, with no room for spontaneity. Usage hours are segmented (e.g., 1–4 PM or 4–7 PM), and spots after 7 PM are very limited. The rooftop pool area is crowded, and the adjacent restaurant is also open to non-guests. Rooftop restaurant experience: One evening we returned from a night out and hoped to enjoy a drink with a view. Although two front-row tables overlooking the Acropolis were available, we were initially told they were reserved. Minutes later, we were informed we could sit there for a €25 minimum spend per person. The sudden shift from ”reserved” to ”available for a price” was off-putting — especially as hotel guests staying in suites. The guided tour recommended by the hotel involved nearly 4 hours of driving during a 5-hour trip, leaving us with very little time at each stop. We suggest skipping it. Bottom line: The hotel is modern, very clean, and the suites are luxurious. Service is mostly excellent, particularly thanks to Ilia and Dionysia. However, don't count on spontaneous access to the pool or rooftop restaurant — enjoying those requires planning ahead, much like booking a theater show. If you value well-designed suites and structured experiences, this hotel may be a great fit. If you’re looking for flexibility and full-day pampering from hotel facilities — you might find it a bit limiting.

JJonesEdwardOur first trip to Europe, so there were things that I imagine are very European. Tiny elevators and key card access to power your room were a first for us. We were only there for one night before leaving on a cruise, but overall I was very happy with our stay. The front desk check in was excellent and the breakfast spread was outstanding. The loud returning guest at 1:30 in the morning were the only irritant, and that was bad guests and not the hotels fault.
