Novel Inn

9.2/10

We were a family of four, 2 adults, one six year old and one 1 year old baby, apartment served us well, and we managed to cook something simple the next morning. Everything was nice and clean. The location was good because of a good sized grocery story at walking distance. Only issue was that the entrance isn’t clearly marked, we parked our car and unloaded a bunch of suitcases at one entrance only to find out that that entrance that has the Novel Inn logo is locked and unmonitored. We had to walk around the building to discover the proper entrance, go back to reload our suitcase into the car, drive around to the other side and unload again, a bit annoying when you’ve been traveling for 18 hours and having arrived late at night with a kid and a baby. All in all it was nice and comfortable and they even gave us a room upgrade and a baby cot free of of charge.

The hotel is exquisite and luxurious, but it is relatively small. The window of the executive room I booked is facing a very dilapidated residential building, which is very unpleasant... I don’t know whether the decoration of the hotel is the manager’s aesthetic or Serbian’s preference for using environmentally friendly fake flowers and green plants. , this seems to have a very low price and affects the quality. The lighting is too dim and is hard on the eyes. The location is not friendly for people who come here specifically to travel. It makes me regret moving here from the Moscava Hotel. I have to walk to the Grand Duke Street and the Fortress. My leg was broken, so I didn’t check for buses because I thought it would be troublesome. There may be buses that go along the way. If you want to walk from here, you have to go through the ring square and it takes a lot of effort to go around. I just came to Bay City on the first day. OK, I don’t recommend any more. But the hotel staff are all very nice, nice, humorous and reliable. If you add a 7-year-old child to breakfast, you will be charged a meal fee. The breakfast is okay. I stayed in six hotels in Serbia and Montenegro. This is the only one that provides free drinking water and the water is of high quality. The decoration facilities include all glass drinking water bottles, so I feel that it is not friendly to children. It is suitable for adults or business. There are few people in the hotel and it is very quiet, suitable for those who like quiet.

I spent my New Year holidays at this hotel, and the experience was truly excellent. First of all, I want to highlight the outstanding level of service. The staff were consistently professional, warm, and incredibly efficient. From the front desk to the concierge team, everyone was helpful, polite, and quick to assist with any request. It really made the stay feel smooth and stress-free. The rooms deserve special mention as well. Everything was spotless and very well maintained. The heating and air conditioning worked perfectly, the bathroom was spacious, and the bathtub was simply luxurious. The overall comfort and quality of the room were top-level. Finally, the spa area was a real highlight. A beautiful and well-designed space with multiple saunas, a great pool, jacuzzi, and a relaxing fitness and wellness atmosphere. It felt like a true retreat after a long day. The food was also excellent, fresh, and very tasty. Overall, I genuinely enjoyed every part of my stay and would be very happy to return. Highly recommended.

Facilities: A new big-name hotel, one of the best-equipped hotels in Belgrade. SPA, massage, gym, hot spring and other facilities are very complete. Hygiene: Good Environment: The hotel is large, and the surrounding area is not a downtown area, but the distance is not far, so it is still very convenient if you drive. Service: Overall it is good, but except for the front desk staff, they don’t speak English very well, and the attitude of some service staff is not very warm and friendly.

The air conditioning was terrible; it felt like the vents were completely blocked, making temperature control useless. However, they provided AESOP shower gel, shampoo, and hand soap, which was amazing. What's ridiculous is that the TV initially had YouTube, but then the function suddenly disappeared while I was watching.

This hotel is really good: the staff are friendly and helpful, the location is convenient – right in the city center, and the breakfasts are delicious – a glass of good champagne at breakfast is a definite bonus! The room has a coffee machine, a kettle, and unlimited bottled water; cleaning is thorough every day. The Michelin-starred restaurant (and it truly is) on the top floor is expensive, but the food is exquisite. Minor drawbacks: the coffee at breakfast is simply awful (I'd even read about this in other reviews) – terrible black, and even worse with milk (was it spoiled or something?) – this isn't acceptable for a 5-star hotel. Also, toothpaste is only available upon request, the shower smells musty, and there are no shelves to place toiletries. But these are all minor details; overall, I enjoyed my stay. I'll recommend it and will definitely come back next time.

The room is quite spacious with a great layout, making it very convenient to use. Slippers are provided. It's clean and tidy. The hotel is located in the heart of the old city, very close to Republic Square, the city center streets, and St. Sava Temple. It's an historical building and quiet at night. The service is excellent, and the front desk is particularly helpful with directions and restaurant reservations.

The hotel room was great and the location I would say it’s super convenient but the problem is that they don’t refill the water and the tea besides the first day. I was very surprised when I called the receptionist and asked if they could bring water since the cleaning lady forgot to refill it but they say it’s only complimentary on the first day. That was shocking as it has been the first time ever to see this. Also when booking on trip.com you see that it says “Welcome Fruits” but the food only fruit I saw was at the reception on a bowl display. The ladies at the reception during the day they were amazing and super helpful but the men from the Night Shift are quite unfriendly. Overall I would recommend it but I would encourage the hotel to work on their complimentary water as it is nice to come back after sightseeing and drink some bottle water.

I stayed in this hotel for a few days. I want to separately highlight three strengths: 1. Staff. This is the main dignity of the hotel! At the respiratory, always met with a smile, answered quickly to all questions. It is evident that people really like their work and care for the guests. Thank you very much for the hospitality and attentive attitude! 2. Breakfast. Breakfasts are just great! Great choice: there were both eggs/omlets, fresh vegetables, and quality cheeses, sausages, baking.  3. Room. In the room (standard double room) there was all you need: comfortable bed, clean clothes, modern bathroom, good shower. All the equipment (teaker, coffee machine) worked well. Cleanness and order on five. No complaints. The location is also very convenient - in step-to-step access to sights. I definitely recommend this hotel and I am happy to stay here next time! Thank you for a pleasant rest!

The room is very spacious, there is a washing machine, laundry detergent is all available, even cooking oil, pots and pans, there is no one on duty at the front desk in the morning, direct self-check-in, very convenient, there is a large shopping mall 600 meters nearby, there is also lush counter, domestic Taobao buy charging plugs can not be used, Go buy a new one, you need a round double hole, that is, the bedroom light is a bit not bright.
