All cabins have fully equipped kitchenette, private bathroom with shower, air conditioning, ceiling fan, and fireplace. Each cabin has an intimate yard with a sitting area, hammock, outdoor grill, and a fire-pit supplied with firewood. Breakfast and dinner include homemade products and are served right up to the door of your cabin. Guests are welcome to enjoy the variety of facilities available at the resort: outdoor swimming pool which is heated in winter, Studio, Central Khan, free use of a shared kitchen, and free parking. Staff can provide information on hiking trips in the desert. The nearest bus stop is a 15-minute walk. The Dead Sea can be reached by car in 1 hour or so, as well as Eilat and Mitspe Ramon. Zukim is located about mid-way Arava between dead-sea and Eilat. This is an excellent base for desert tours and hikes. We stayed in a hut which was very comfortable. We had aircon and a fireplace, both worked fine so the room was warm and nice even in the cold February night. Dinner was served to the room in a box - not so fancy but very tasty. They place has a small "store" for drinks and some products so you can get some wine & beer there. Note that this is very secluded spot, great place to experience the desert - but don't count on any nightlife.
