La Vista Hakodate Bay exceeded my expectations. The location is perfect — within walking distance to major spots like the red brick warehouse and Mt. Hakodate ropeway. The room was clean, spacious, and had a lovely nostalgic Japanese feel. The rooftop onsen was absolutely amazing, especially with the open-air bath overlooking the night view of Hakodate. The free late-night ramen was a nice surprise! Most of all, I want to thank a female staff member who gave us the best service I’ve experienced in Japan. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and thoughtful. I didn’t catch her name, but she truly made my stay unforgettable. Highly recommended!

It is very convenient to walk to JR Sapporo Station in 9 minutes! It is a 10-20 minute walk to the attractions. The Japanese-style room can accommodate 4 people, suitable for a family trip. The room is very large ~ The breakfast is said to be the best breakfast in Hakodate! Very rich! Dad is very satisfied ~ There are natural hot springs, and 3 private hot springs are open 24 hours a day, just go and queue up.
