I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this bnb! The location is perfect, just a short distance from the Hangzhou Botanical Garden, making it a peaceful and scenic spot. The room was impeccably clean, and I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was. As someone who is very sensitive to noise, I slept like a log every single night! The host, the owner lady, was incredibly warm, friendly, and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. When I caught a cold during my trip, she not only went out to buy medicine for me but also gave me extra supplies to help me recover. Her kindness and thoughtfulness were truly heartwarming. She upgraded my room without me asking! Despite the language barrier (I don’t speak Mandarin), she made every effort to communicate and ensure I had everything I needed. Her hospitality made my stay in Hangzhou truly delightful and memorable. The convenience of having a bus right outside the complex was also a huge plus, making it easy to explore the city. I cannot recommend this place enough! If you’re looking for a clean, quiet, and welcoming place to stay in Hangzhou, this is it. Everyone is so friendly. The hotel is always warm, welcoming and inviting to have other guests visit. I can’t believe I found this accommodation and they were so helpful with additional information or assistance. I recommend this hotel out of any hotel in the area. 10/10 service, 10/10 atmosphere and 10/10 location. It is near everything and has the nicest food and residents nearby. the hotel is in a famous area i guess. the room is ok with enough facilities and cleaniness. the neughborhood around is interesting to walk around. however we stayed at the 4th floor so it's quite tiring to climb up the floors.

Amazing location with good services, the front desk even helped us to carry our luggages into the room. Room is equipped with LCD projector, bath tub, hot water, and full glass window. Nice to stay in a cozy weather with your loved ones.

The owners are extremely helpful and friendly, but since I speak Chinese, I have no problem communicating with them. It’s only 2 mins walk to the bus stop outside. Since there are rooms available, they allowed me to check in early, and they even upgraded my room too. They offered a very tasty hot orange juice as a welcome drink. The bed is nice, but the hanger is in a very odd position in front of the bed blocking the walkway. I keep hitting it. Anyway, it’s also near the West lake if you enjoy walking. There’s a nice coffee shop next to the homestay.

The hotel room was very nice. It had everything you need. The location was alright, you do need a taxi to go to a lot of locations. But that was fine by me! The service of the hotel is also very good. The people working there are very helpful and friendly. I had forgotten something and they helped me send it via the post to me! I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The boss also upgraded the room for free. The interior decoration is simple and exquisite. Zhejiang University and the Botanical Garden are on the north and south sides of the homestay. The air is fresh and the environment is pleasant. The rooms are uniquely designed and equipped with comfortable bedding and modern facilities, as well as high-definition projectors, large bathtubs, etc. In addition, the B&B also has leisure areas such as a coffee bar and a backyard. The staff is warm and thoughtful. They will help with luggage, provide surrounding travel guides, and luggage storage services. It is a very good stay experience.

The B&B is in the West Lake Scenic Area, next to Zhejiang University and the Botanical Garden, and it's only 1 kilometer to the West Lake. The scenery of the West Lake is in full view. Especially in the early morning, the West Lake shrouded in mist is like an elegant ink painting, so beautiful that it makes people suffocate. The feeling of being close to nature is great. During the Chinese New Year, the West Lake was decorated with lights and full of New Year atmosphere. Our family spent a lot of warm time by the lake, enjoying the scenery and taking pictures. Walking into the interior of the B&B, the overall decoration style is unique, with both the gentle charm of the Jiangnan water town and the modern comfort and convenience. The room is warm and elegant, and the furniture and decorations are very textured. The bed is soft and comfortable, and it feels like being surrounded by clouds when you sleep on it, and you can sleep well every day. The bathroom is clean and tidy, and the toiletries are of high quality and very comfortable to use. In terms of service, the staff of the B&B are warm and considerate. From the beginning of the reservation, they patiently answered all my questions and provided detailed travel guides. After arriving at the store, they not only helped with the luggage, but also sent welcome fruits and special snacks. During the Chinese New Year, they also prepared activities full of New Year flavor for us, such as writing Spring Festival couplets and making dumplings, which made us feel the strong festive atmosphere. There are both local snacks, such as scallion wrapped cypress and Dingsheng cake, as well as Western bread and milk, with balanced nutrition. Our family sat together to enjoy breakfast and started a full day. This New Year trip to the B&B by the West Lake left us with very good memories.
