Stayed at Coral Sands Hotel for 10 nights in July 2024.
Excellent location, next to the hotel there is everything you need: beach, cafes, souvenir shops.
The staff was responsive and promptly resolved any issue I had.
The buffet and restaurant are excellent! The food is very tasty and varied.
The room is comfortable with working air conditioning, the sea view is stunning.
Overall, I was pleased with my stay and recommend it to everyone!

This is one of the best hotels because of the views, proximity to the beach and all water sports nearby. It has a huge pool and also money changers in the hotel. Buffet is sumptuous and all types of cuisine are available to the mixed type of guests. The Wi-Fi logins are too huge and has to register again whenever we move out of the property

Excellent location- beachfront, close to main hikkaduwa beach , EXCELLENT staff and service - everyone is smilingly serving you taking care of your requirements , rooms are big and well equipped. I had an amazing patio / sit out - right in front of the room overlooking the beach . The Christmas Eve dinner spread was lavish . Food spread for breakfast is excellent- a mix of continental and local cuisine. Special mention to Mr. Thillina - the manager- for the personalised care . Thanks to him our stay was very comfortable. Best part of the stay - location and warm personalised service by ENTIRE staff ! They have a decent selection of books for the bookworms to laze n enjoy the book next to the sea 🌊 Helpful tip - if you want quiet rooms request for rooms away from pool . If you are a mermaid and don’t mind the traffic- stay next to pool . Bathrooms although very big , need renovation.

I stayed at this resort with my family and while the location and ambiance are lovely, the property itself is showing its age and could definitely use some updates. The rooms were clean, and the food was quite good, but the overall experience would greatly benefit from some renovations. That said, what truly stood out was the incredible service. From the moment we parked the car, through check-in, and all the way to the pool attendants and restaurant staff, the team was polite, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The staff's excellent service really made a difference, but unfortunately, it can't fully make up for the resort’s outdated appearance, but I hope the management takes note and invests in refreshing the property, as the staff truly deserves to work in a space that matches their level of service.

Coral Sands Hotel beach front property. Special Thanks to “Executive Chef Mr. Christopher & all Kitchen staff / Operation Manager Mr. Randun Preajayth & His entire staff. Very tasty 🦀 Crab Curry & Healthy Drumstick Leaves Soup specially made to us by our Executive Chef Christopher and team. Thank you to the entire Kitchen staff. We have been to this beachfront hotel many times but this time I invited a few of my family's friends along with us. Beach front Location was amazing, and the staff was really good. Food was also tasty and the overall stay was quite comfortable. Their concept to ensure privacy for each room is also great. This is an amazing place to stay. Very good and friendly Housekeeping & Restaurant staff. Very Good security service day / Night. High Speed Wifi service. I highly recommend this Beachfront resort. We will be keep coming all the way from Canada 🇨🇦. Please keep up the good service. 🙏🇨🇦🇱🇰❤️
