We spent the most incredible 6 days in this little piece of paradise. Despite the incredible surroundings, the stunning, well equipped, comfortable, clean and quiet villa, what really made this break so memorable was our host Jay and his team. I have never met a more hard-working, kind, caring, helpful man. To be greeted by his smiling face every morning was just everything. He did all he could to make our stay unforgettable. Nothing was too much and we enjoyed chatting with him and hearing stories of his life after dinner in the evening. He helped us with trips out, planning our itinerary, arranging trea**ents in the villa and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The meals were so tasting and as a vegetarian I was well catered for. The view from the lake was breathtaking and we even had a water monitor swim past every morning. Some incredible memories made. Thank you for everything you did for us. We will be back!

We had a nice stay at the sea front. The rooms are very simple but clean. The hoteliers are lovely and we were able to enjoy excellent breakfasts. Saranga offers many excursions. Dilini is an excellent cook. They do their utmost to make you feel comfortable for a very affordable price. The beach is very close on foot but be careful the sea is very rough. There are nice restaurants Thambili and Aurora among others and shops nearby. You have to take a tuk tuk to go to the city center of Hikkaduwa if you want to swim without worries and enjoy the restaurants and shops.

The villa complex with the restaurant pool and spa occupies a slope of altitude in the distance of the sea and the vault.From the top, the view of the jungle and rice fields is open. The space inside is thought out with a fine taste and sense . By passing the huge gate of the stone wall you get into a special world where everything is happening for you and for your comfort and pleasure. Excellent food, children refused to have dinner elsewhere, well we were not against. Spa procedure at the highest level. The massage was done to me by Dulib, he was doing yoga classes in the morning. I thought to take him with me;). Our Butler Taranga is a very pleasant man-a good, the children loved him. Jesse is a local polyglot, though not our batter, very helpful in the case, for example, took us to the dive club and traded on the market. Superb Service Rate. Asanga bends over backwards for you, the food is excellent, very well cooked. We were all alone but they still took great care of us. Beachside hotels better watch out because you are going to pay for the sea while this place is located 850 meters from the sea and costs 186 LKR by tuk tuk. Spacious and bright room. The swimming pool is good and very clean. Don't hesitate for this hotel really.

We stayed for 2 nights in rooms 210 and 212 from December 26 to 28, and it was a complete waste of money. Recycled Food in Buffet: The dinner buffet had the same items as the next day’s breakfast and dinner. It felt like leftover food was being reused across multiple meals, which is completely unacceptable. Uncleaned Mugs and Cups: The mugs and cups in the rooms were dirty and not properly cleaned, raising hygiene concerns. Dirty Pillows and Towels: Pillows and towels had stains, and even the replacements provided were visibly dirty, with patches and marks. Rusty and Smelly Bathroom: The bathroom was in terrible condition—rusty fixtures, dirty surfaces, and a strong unpleasant odor. It was impossible to use the bathroom comfortably. Unsealed Water Bottles: The water bottles provided were unsealed, looking like they were refilled, which is highly concerning from a hygiene perspective. Non-Functional Locker: The in-room locker was rusty and didn’t work at all, making it completely useless. AC Turned Off: The air conditioning was inexplicably turned off on the second day at the buffet area leaving the room uncomfortably warm. Poor Wi-Fi: Wi-Fi was only functional inside the room and did not work anywhere else in the hotel, which was highly inconvenient. TV Remote Not Working: The TV remote didn’t work, which added to the frustration during our stay. Unfair Extra Charges: We were charged extra for room service when we simply asked for replacements for the dirty towels and cups. This was not something we ordered, but a basic necessity due to their negligence. No Toothbrush or Toothpaste: We were surprised to learn that the hotel doesn't provide basic essentials like toothbrush and toothpaste. When we asked, they told us they generally don't provide them. This is highly unusual as most other hotels provide these essentials as a standard service. Despite paying Rs150,000+, the experience was far below what should be expected from any hotel. The lack of cleanliness, subpar food hygiene, and additional, unfair charges left us deeply disappointed. Not recommended at all.
