The location is great. The road just ahead is the main road, so there's everything you need. It was a convenient location with restaurants, cafes, and massages.
It felt like a family-run hotel, and it had a warm, cozy atmosphere.
On the way back, I arranged transportation from the hotel to Da Nang Airport, which was cheaper than Grab, which was nice. Don't expect much from breakfast. The drinks at breakfast were delicious, with fruit squeezed right in front of you. Since we stayed during New Year's, we received a card and a box of sweet breads. It was very delicious, and I was happy with the thoughtfulness.

This was my second time in Hoi An, but it was my first time staying overnight in the city. The woman at the front desk was kind and smiling from the moment I checked in. The man was also friendly and when we checked out, we shook hands and parted ways with a promise to stay the next time. It was a hotel with a small atmosphere that blended into the cityscape. The breakfast buffet was like a typical home-style breakfast, but it was delicious. I hope to serve you again next time.

Stayed a night. Hotel was kind enough to change my check in dates due to flight delays.Yhey also helped to arrange tour to Marble mountains. Was moved to another newly renovated building for their double room. Got a nice swimming pool. Near to night market and old town area, about 5 mins walk. Overall satisfied with their service and hotel.

Excellent guest house! We got a room on the third floor with a balcony on both sides overlooking the colorful Vietnamese streets. Everything was very comfortable, clean and cozy. After checking out, we took our bikes and left our luggage right at the hotel. And when we returned from the bike ride, we were even allowed to take a shower. In general, we liked everything, thank you very much!

The staff and the reception at the hotel was very helpful and accommodating. They even took me all over the place to buy coffee and got it at a local price. The receptionist recommended places to eat. Coffee was offered to me when i was waiting for the tour bus. She gave me a good price for tours and transport. I am very delighted with my stay in Song Thien and will stay again if i ever return to Hoi An. Please give my regards to rhe owner. Thank you

The room was great shower pressure was low. Great service from staff. During my stay there was renovation going on next building start very early in the morning at 7 a.m. could not sleep at all. fortunately I tempted to wake up early that day to my next trip so it was not that big problem to complain but for someone who plan to sleep until late I would not recommend but over all satisfied

Good cheap hostel in a great location.
Pros: bed has privacy curtains, charge plugs, and big lockers for a backpack, really helpful young lady at the reception that has some good suggestions for activities, and really good free brekky.
Cons: bathroom has 1 working toilet and 3 showers which is not enough for dorms on the 2nd floor, bunk beds are squeaky, dorm rooms have a lot of general rubbish down the sides of the bunks that didn’t get cleaned over the 3nights

Good location, 5 min walking from the Hoian old town. It's a resort style with a swimming pool in the center, surrounded by different buildings of rooms. Suites are located on ground floor within the lobby building with a bigger TV screen and backyard accessing to the pool. The rare building rooms are normal standard, kind of dated.
Buffet breakfast offers western and Vietnamese food, mediocre level.

Kathy, our designated guest relation officer was really awesome and helpful since the moment we arrived! She was bubbly and always made a point to check in on us everyday and where we are going and gave her advice on weather conditions since we came during the rainy seasons. She was also very sweet and kind to offer to help me get the welcome cookies after i asked her where I could get it.
We stayed here for 5 nights amd everything was commendable from breakfast, room service, laundry service, staff service and down to the massage. I was reallt surprise by the beef fried rice that we ordered from room service and literally the best fried rice ever i tasted and we had to order 2 nights in a row. The hotel also provided shuttle service to the old town which makes it really convenient. Throughout my stay, I felt safe, clean, comfortable and relax and I will definitely chose to stay here all over again.
If the gym facility was bigger and have more equipments that will be a bonus! Not a biggie as there's other gym options available around the area.

GGuest UserThis hotel is in the absolute best position. We were a little disappointed in our room location, as we booked about 8 months ago and asked for a ground floor room with a river view. We also paid top $$ in full 8 months ago. So, when we were put in basically the furtherest room from the pool on the second floor we were disappointed.
The rooms are very nice, and the free mini bar replenished daily was a lovely surprise. The restaurant breakfast was amazing, you could not ask for anything more.
The pool area is stunning, but unfortunately, due to the dark grey tiling, it was extremely hot and uncomfortable (also the pool water was very warm, which I know can not be helped).
We did try and book a couple of trips through the hotel, but they did not seem overly interested in this service. I also tried to contact them several times before arriving to arrange airport transfers, but never got a reply. However, all staff encountered were polite.
In summary, I would definitely return to this hotel if offered at a reasonable rate. Mainly due to the location.

JJoe GuyI cannot recommend this hotel enough it is run and recently been taken over by young married couple Luke and Mihn in my opinion it’s outstanding one of the best hotels that we’ve stayed in this far $15 New Zealand tonight it has a beautiful swimming pool a barbecue area if you want to make your own food cook your own food there’s an outstanding coffee shops directly across the road like $1.50 for the most decadent coffee and the rooms are extremely clean the bedding is immaculate 100% cotton which in this heat you really need the air-conditioner works a treat there is Wi-Fi there is breakfast included if you wish to purchase it I think for an extra three dollars New Zealand and again the cleanliness is outstanding services 10 out of 10 the environment is 10 out of 10 Location is incredible five minutes from the beach the old town hoii an It’s just minutes away we hired a scooter from Luke which is fantastic easy he brings it to you you leave it here it’s brilliant and I think it’s cause it’s like eight dollars a day and we’ve done so much exploring of this beautiful beautiful little city there is so much to see we plan on staying one night we’ve been here for and plan on staying another two at least so yeah I would highly recommend these guys supporting the local owner operator business is key there is beautiful and beautiful fruit tree a five star I think the food is called it’s just so Yum and so fresh again recommend 10 out of 10 for this Hotel wouldn’t say anywhere else it’s brilliant absolutely brilliant Luke and Mihn I went out back and call anything we need they just get it for us obviously we don’t push it because we don’t need anything if we want it it’s there if we don’t it’s not so it’s brilliant it’s just brilliant I have so in love it highly recommend 10

GGuest UserThe most unexpected thing about this trip to Vietnam is that this B&B is so good. It has complete facilities and a delicate environment. It is within walking distance of Hoi An Ancient Town. The most special thing is that the owner is very nice and enthusiastic. We ate seafood hot pot in Ba Na Mountain and had diarrhea and vomited. We rested in the hotel. The owner helped us buy medicine, ordered porridge for us, and provided us with airport pick-up and drop-off services. The charges were more favorable than grab.

I recently stayed at the Tran Family Hostel in Hoi An, Vietnam, and I had a wonderful experience. The hostel staff was incredibly helpful and assisted me in organizing trips to My Son and Hue, which went smoothly without any issues. Additionally, I thoroughly enjoyed their outdoor swimming pool.
The location of the Tran Family Hostel is just a 5-minute walk from the city center, making it extremely convenient for exploring the vibrant streets of Hoi An. The hostel's proximity to various attractions, markets, and restaurants allowed me to fully immerse myself in the local atmosphere.
The rooms at the Tran Family Hostel are modern and spacious, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment for guests. The highlight was the super comfy bed, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a long day of sightseeing. The cleanliness and upkeep of the accommodation were also commendable.
One of my favorite amenities at the Tran Family Hostel was the outdoor swimming pool. It provided the perfect spot to unwind and cool off during hot Vietnamese afternoons. The pool area was well-maintained and added an extra touch of relaxation to my stay.
All in all, my time at the Tran Family Hostel was fantastic. The staff's assistance in organizing trips to My Son and Hue ensured a hassle-free and enjoyable experience. The convenient location, modern rooms, and comfy bed added to the overall comfort of my stay. I highly recommend the Tran Family Hostel to fellow travelers visiting Hoi An.

HhollysmithA great home stay, they have multiple rooms and run it a little like an Airbnb or hotel but still keep the family touch behind home stay experiences. Family is kind, attentive, and great to chat to even with language barriers.
Free bicycles to use which is great because it’s a bit of a walk or cycle into old town. We think it’s a good distance but cycling shortened it. They do laundry but we didn’t use. They also have a dog who is a funny character.
To note for guests who are particular: Some things were a bit unclean in our room which is why we put 3/5. Amenities were good but shower head has a mind of its own and water temp is high (great and unusual for the surrounding properties we stayed in, but careful for unexpected water angles). Room also smelled damp and it was hard to get rid of smell. If this was a hotel it would be not acceptable, but given it’s a home stay we didn’t make a fuss. Just including in the review as homestays really range.

GGloryWongWe stayed at Laluna Riverside Hotel in early March. The hotel is very convenient, close to the Old Town, Hoi An Market and night market. The room is spacious and the staff was nice, especially Nancy Nguyen who cares for our need and always ready to help. Her English is good too. We booked tours through the hotel and the price is reasonably. The basket boat and cooking class was great. Massage is good as well. We enjoyed our stay there.

GGuest User My second visit to this hotel again within 10days, 1st visit was in October and everything was perfect and this 2nd trip (November) there’s a water trapped faulty in the shower room, room door is a bit not in good condition and the channel reception, TV remote control not functioning well , and here comes another staffs Mr Thuong (Bellman cum Security) together with maintenance staff come to rectify the issue, subsequently Front Desk Receptionist Ms Phuah Thi Hong Hanh called me and asked if I need to change to another room , well I told her if they can solved the issues in my room I’ll just remain to the same room . I’m so pleased the hotel really take care of their hotel guests as the next following day , Ms Phuah has prepared new room to me for room change although I never ask for it because the issues has been solved on the spot. Thank you and appreciate! Initial part was tempted to try other 4-5 stars hotels with much better facilities and great rate on room rates within the vicinity but end up I still choose back Le Pavillion because Front House staffs are extremely helpful , friendly and genuine warm welcome us home, here I really wants to compliment Mr Vo Van Tri (Bellman cum Security) whom doesn’t speak much English but he knows and understands what I need , whenever I walk out from the hotel entrance he will approached me and ask if I need hotel bicycle to get to my destination. Will definitely choose the same hotel again for my next trip .

-Room is well-furnished makes me feel relaxing, peace, comfortable and feel like home.
-Most importantly, the hotel staffs are the “Gems” of this hotel. Very friendly and attentive to their guests in house.

GGuest UserI stayed here 5 nights, using the hotel as a base for my day excursions to Hai Van Pass, My Son, and Cham Island. I like the location, just outside of the Old Town, so quiet enough, but accessible (by free bicycle); the hotel has free bicycles for guest to use. Otherwise the walk may be a bit far, especially in the heat. The rooms are a good size and good value at this price point. The staff are friendly and helpful; they asked if I wanted to switch to a large bed upon check-in as I had inadvertently booked a twin room.
Cleanliness is generally good, nothing wrong with the rooms. I give it a 3 star rating only because there is some algae growth in the swimming pool. But on the upside, the pool is not overly chlorinated.
Breakfast is simple but perfectly adequate; there is an egg station, normally some fried rice/noodles with some stir fried dishes, bacon, sausage, fruit, tea/coffee, bread and some pastries. I would have liked some yoghurt and granola, but that is just me.
Currently there is noisy construction work (for what looks like a new wing) going on, which starts early in the morning (7AM) and continues throughout the day. This was not an issue for me as I spent most days out and about, but you should be aware if you are booking this hotel in the next few months. Also, on the issue of noise, there is no soft door closer on the guest room doors, so you can here quite a lot of door slamming by some inconsiderate guests.
All in all, if I was to come back to Hoi An, I would stay here again (assuming the construction work is completed).
