"On the recession communication is correct. Settled at once on arrival. Rooms are clean with balcony, all single bathing facilities in availability, tea station, bed comfortable. Breakfast Swedish table, modest. There is a pool. Price-quality is appropriate."
"We had a great stay at this beautiful resort. The buffet breakfast was excellent. The hotel was right next to the beach. The rooms were spacious and welcoming. There were plenty of English TV channels. The hotel staff accommodated us with an early check-in and a late check-out. The free shuttle into town was quick and reliable. We will definitely be back again soon!"
"The place is very happening and cool.
Staff is very friendly and professional.
Very great ambiance for party goers. You can just hop in and vibe along the troops at MadMonkey.
Great music at parties"

"I was quite impressed with the personal touch during check-in when the receptionist took time to explain the places of interests in Hoi An for all first time visitor. The room I got was beautifully decorated, clean and I enjoyed the bathtub. Just that u gotta bring your own bath bomb for the tub :) I also particularly like the balcony view. The hotel is located at a quiet corner and the old town is just around 10 mins walk away or you can cycle there with the hotel bikes. I really enjoy my stay in this hotel alot. Thumbs up."
"There is luggage storage and free bicycle rental, and the owner is very friendly. His children are also very cute!! The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable! There is a balcony, which is great."
"It's a bit far from the old town, but you can walk. If you use grab bike, you can take it for about 20,00 dong.
The reception is very friendly and always cheerful. I feel very good. It seems that they will lend you a bicycle for walking around the city.
The room also has air conditioning and the shower also has hot water. I was able to spend very comfortable. I recommend it."
"It's not a new, shiny, flashy hotel, but the calm atmosphere was very nice. I think most of the guests were older Westerners. It's on the outskirts of the old town, so it's not too noisy. But you can walk to the tourist center. We also used the free bicycle rental service.
The pool isn't very big, but it's enough to cool down during the hot season. Everyone was relaxing while reading. The Vietnamese iced milk coffee we had at the minibar by the pool was very delicious.
The breakfast buffet had so many dishes that it was overwhelming, and they were all delicious. We checked out early in the morning, so we couldn't have breakfast on our last day, but they prepared a big box of bread and fruit for us to take out.
I was also interested in the beach resorts in Da Nang, but if you're planning on sightseeing mainly in Hoi An, I recommend this hotel."
"Super nice resort with a private beach and a free shuttle bus to Hoi An. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet, the grounds were very well maintained, and the view from the Riverside room was wonderful. We were there for 5 days and would have loved to stay longer. The beach was very clean and not at all crowded. The water was perfect for swimming. The ladies at reception were very friendly, polite and helpful. We would choose Hoi An Beach Resort again and again to relax and escape the hustle and bustle of the city."
"We got a diferent room as what we booked for, but thanks to the lovely staff it was solved the next day. The hotel is just outside the busy old center of Hoi An and quiet at night.
The staff are the most adorable people and during check in they give a lot of tips what you can do and eat in the area.
The breakfast is good with a lot of different things to choose from. Reccomend this hotel!"
"We were very happy with the services provided by the customer service staff, Ms Quyen. She was detailed in her explanation and provided the extra mile to make us feel comfortable despite some hip cups with the room air-conditioning. Nevertheless, the hotel management should ensure the hotel lobby was more comfortable for the guests as most of the time there was no air-conditioning at the lobby despite the hot weather. A very short walk to the olld town."

Amazing
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is a quiet resort with great services and views. We crashed here for one night on our way through and it’s convenient, right near everything you need. The old town is just a quick walk across the bridge. It’s definitely up to a standard of an IHG hotel, which is kind of hard to find in Vietnam.

Amazing
JJakeCDWe would like to share a great recommendation of this hotel to anyone who is looking to visit the Hoi An or Da Nang area. From check in to departure we had an amazing experience.
The breakfast is extremely fresh and room clean, sometimes they even clean twice with turn down of bed and biscuit. The welcoming staff service in unmatched. With special thanks to Jay who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was outstanding. They were always accommodating of any special requests or general questions. I will definitely recommend this to family and friends and stay here when we return.
The two pools were great and evening drinks at the bar with a different live music everyday was a nice touch with a relaxing homely feel. Coming from larger hotels, we really appreciated the homely and personal feel with reception often remembering our room and names. We loved every second. Thank you!
GGuest UserWe spent 4 days in a clean and cute room. The decorations were cute and relaxing. It was nice to be able to know the weather because there was a window.
The owner was very kind and made us feel at ease. He made sure we had no inconveniences. It was a nice villa with friendly staff. I'm glad we stayed here.
Although it is far from the city, there are several nice cafes where we could enjoy coffee. The food at the local restaurants nearby was delicious and I'm glad we tried it. The souvenir shop just behind was also nice.
There is a convenience store nearby, which is convenient. You can buy snacks and water at the front desk.
The security is good and it was safe to walk alone at night.
GGuest UserThe best accommodation experience of this trip
1. Good location, you can walk to the downtown area, but the location is quiet, quiet in the bustling area, there is an elevator, so you don’t have to worry about moving luggage
2. The boss is very nice. He contacted me by email many times before the trip about the pick-up and coconut boat booking. He was very kind and helped a lot
3. The hotel is small and exquisite, and it is very comfortable to live in
4. The boss shared a lot of travel suggestions with tourists. If you want to stay in a thoughtful and well-located homestay, choose this place
5. Da Nang pick-up is cheaper than grab, and coconut boat booking is also cheaper. You can really ask the boss for help
TTobias TA Convenient and Comfortable Stay in Hoi An, Vietnam
I recently stayed at the Tran Family Hostel in Hoi An, Vietnam, and I had a wonderful experience. The hostel staff was incredibly helpful and assisted me in organizing trips to My Son and Hue, which went smoothly without any issues. Additionally, I thoroughly enjoyed their outdoor swimming pool.
The location of the Tran Family Hostel is just a 5-minute walk from the city center, making it extremely convenient for exploring the vibrant streets of Hoi An. The hostel's proximity to various attractions, markets, and restaurants allowed me to fully immerse myself in the local atmosphere.
The rooms at the Tran Family Hostel are modern and spacious, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment for guests. The highlight was the super comfy bed, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a long day of sightseeing. The cleanliness and upkeep of the accommodation were also commendable.
One of my favorite amenities at the Tran Family Hostel was the outdoor swimming pool. It provided the perfect spot to unwind and cool off during hot Vietnamese afternoons. The pool area was well-maintained and added an extra touch of relaxation to my stay.
All in all, my time at the Tran Family Hostel was fantastic. The staff's assistance in organizing trips to My Son and Hue ensured a hassle-free and enjoyable experience. The convenient location, modern rooms, and comfy bed added to the overall comfort of my stay. I highly recommend the Tran Family Hostel to fellow travelers visiting Hoi An.
DDbrady101The hotel is lovely.. the staff are so helpful.. food was ok ..plenty of choice for Asian traveller's but not much choice for European . Usual bacon and eggs... ....lovely Lady Than on reception, so pleasant and older gentleman on door.. ...others are quite forceful on selling you trips and spa treatments..not nice when you're trying to enjoy your breakfast. You do feel obliged to buy... the massages are great everywhere you go in Vietnam.
HhollysmithA great home stay, they have multiple rooms and run it a little like an Airbnb or hotel but still keep the family touch behind home stay experiences. Family is kind, attentive, and great to chat to even with language barriers.
Free bicycles to use which is great because it’s a bit of a walk or cycle into old town. We think it’s a good distance but cycling shortened it. They do laundry but we didn’t use. They also have a dog who is a funny character.
To note for guests who are particular: Some things were a bit unclean in our room which is why we put 3/5. Amenities were good but shower head has a mind of its own and water temp is high (great and unusual for the surrounding properties we stayed in, but careful for unexpected water angles). Room also smelled damp and it was hard to get rid of smell. If this was a hotel it would be not acceptable, but given it’s a home stay we didn’t make a fuss. Just including in the review as homestays really range.
GGuest UserTNT Villa is located very conveniently. I walked out to the Old Town and back to my room multiple times daily. The room was spacious and had everything I needed–a comfortable bed, desk, mini fridge, toilet, and even a bathtub. The floor was a little dusty but the room slippers they provided solved that. My main frustration was that the wifi in my room was bad. Unfortunately, even the 4G was poor–but that probably depends on your service provider. Overall, a pleasant stay.
SStephen SutantoDecent location within 10mins walking distance to market and another 5mins to the Old Town.
The distance means you'll get more space and quietness away from the crowd.
Overall, quite value for money. Room is spacious, well-maintained and cleaned.
Breakfast selection also not bad, ticks most of the basic requirements.
Staffs are friendly, helpful and smile a lot.
GGuest UserI stayed here 5 nights, using the hotel as a base for my day excursions to Hai Van Pass, My Son, and Cham Island. I like the location, just outside of the Old Town, so quiet enough, but accessible (by free bicycle); the hotel has free bicycles for guest to use. Otherwise the walk may be a bit far, especially in the heat. The rooms are a good size and good value at this price point. The staff are friendly and helpful; they asked if I wanted to switch to a large bed upon check-in as I had inadvertently booked a twin room.
Cleanliness is generally good, nothing wrong with the rooms. I give it a 3 star rating only because there is some algae growth in the swimming pool. But on the upside, the pool is not overly chlorinated.
Breakfast is simple but perfectly adequate; there is an egg station, normally some fried rice/noodles with some stir fried dishes, bacon, sausage, fruit, tea/coffee, bread and some pastries. I would have liked some yoghurt and granola, but that is just me.
Currently there is noisy construction work (for what looks like a new wing) going on, which starts early in the morning (7AM) and continues throughout the day. This was not an issue for me as I spent most days out and about, but you should be aware if you are booking this hotel in the next few months. Also, on the issue of noise, there is no soft door closer on the guest room doors, so you can here quite a lot of door slamming by some inconsiderate guests.
All in all, if I was to come back to Hoi An, I would stay here again (assuming the construction work is completed).
