"Room is clean and spacious enough for a one night staycation. Will good if there is handheld showerhead along with the rain shower, as some (like me) might not be used to it. Had good hot water & heater though! Location is super convenient, located above ksl mall, especially good if you want too watch late night movie or sing k. Basically u can do hair + do nails + watch movie + sing k + eat all in one place. Good if you don't wanna waste time driving/grab around."

"The staff that served me doesnt seem as friendly as what many commented in the forum. The checkin also slow but they increase the staff to 4 at the peak when many came to check in starting 2pm. The cafe that served breakfast is full house after 8am. And the staff are not attentive, not clear table on time. Many plates on the tables waiting to be cleared. Many people complaint no fork And spoon on their table. My son also cannot find the glass for drink because staff not take it refill it on time. Very Basic amenities nothing to be mentioned. The room facing the EDL is noisy. Need to improve the noise insulation."

"Berjaya Waterfront Johor Bahru Room it's normal size and had view of Singapore. Room service was good . Property is a little dated but overall staff service was great. Location is near few restaurants in front of the coastline. The mall has a 7/11 store and is connected to a shopping mall which is pretty average. Overall it was pretty good to stay and I want to say thank you for allowing us to Check out late."

"Hotel is at a very convenient location, with KSL mall and many F&B choices in the vicinity. However, felt the staff at front desk need more training. E.g. when i handed over my credit card for desposit and without trying she said they dont take debit card. When i told her that it is a credit card, she said she will try. The room was not bad but the water pressure was weak."

"It was the cheapest to book a deluxe room (with bathtub) in this hotel through trip.com...comparing with other hotel booking avenues. Very impressed with the cleanliness and spaciousness of the room. Hotel staff were very friendly, helpful and courteous. You could find many eateries nearby and KSL mall is a short walk away. "I had an excellent stay at Capri by Fraser Johor Bahru! The location is convenient with plenty of amenities nearby. The room was spotless and well-maintained, with great attention to detail. "I was pleasantly surprised when I reached the hotel. It was clean and nicely setup, with friendly and helpful staff. The room was big and clean, with a nice view of the causeway. Amenities were adequate. No breakfast provided (there is no attached restaurant, so it does not provide such option at all), but this is no big issue as there are some local eateries nearby. Very near to the city center attractions, like the Tan Hiok Nee Cultural Street. Then again, being in the City Center, do expect traffic congestions during peak hours. The hotel offers free parking within its building, which I did not try this time. It will be handy though for my next stay, or anyone that is driving in. Definitely on my “Preferred Choice” for hotels in JB."

"The hotel is near Toppen but there is no traffic light to cross the road. Crossing road is dangerous. We took Grab to go Toppen instead of walking there. The restaurant nearby breakfast menu is good"
