"2nd times chosen this hotel for short gateways. Location is good area as many food market and restaurants located near hotel. Too many hair salon and massage salon located at KSL Mall. Easier to find by Grab cab from JB Sentral (or JB City Square Custom) to KSL Hotel & Resort. A bit of disappointment - the room blanket seem like didn’t washed which caused itching to skin while lying on bed (3 people in 2 bed somehow)and air condition is unable to adjustable (the room remote controls looks like for display )"

"The staffs are excellent and location is great, just 100 meters from KSL city. Lots of eateries around and there is night market on every Monday evening. Only couple of things that can be better. One is the shower pressure and toilet flushing pressure. Then is the sound proofing problem, I had a connecting room and imagine I can clearly the snoring of next door guest, and the conversation from doorway and next door. Last is the table light, there’s no switch to switch it off but to unplug from the outlet? Or I don’t know the the switch is located at the table light 🤪 Overall great stay and love the breakfast spread, will come back but I’ll sure ask for non-connected room."

"The  hotel has the best location, it is on top of a mega mall with a supermarket, everything opens from 10am to 10pm. The variety of food made us keep going back. The hotel includes breakfast buffet which it is very decent and has good selection for locals and visitors, and the menu is slightly different everyday for a good surprise. The staff is very friendly, and they greet us every time.  We certainly will stay there again."

"I stayed at Sunway Big Box once last year and gave it a full 5-star rating — it was new, and everything was excellent. This second stay, however, fell a little short. I booked for two nights and had requested a birthday surprise in the room, but this was not fulfilled. On arrival, I was given the wrong room. Shortly after entering, I received a call from reception apologising and assuring me they would decorate the room at the next available moment. I told them they could do it the next day after housekeeping. Unfortunately, nothing happened until I checked out. A good hotel should maintain both service and facilities consistently. This time, I noticed several issues: -The iron’s cord was fraying and unsafe for use. -One of the towels was torn. -The sink drained slowly. -On the second day, housekeeping did not provide a floor mat — I had to request one. -The pillows were uncomfortable, though I appreciate that extra pillows were provided upon request. While I still enjoyed the convenience of the nearby mall and shops — limited but adequate — I feel the hotel should review its maintenance and service to ensure guests keep returning."

"First time heading to mid valley area, thus decide to try out this hotel. After a challenging egate downtime day, I had finally arrived at hotel O PE RO. Pros: Soothing aroma smelly lobby reminds me to Big box hotel. Room was compact but comfortable to sleep well. Giant sogo view motivates my shopping time. Hotel staffs were generous to provide more water as my child was having a nasty sore throat. Thank you. Breakfast - Chicken rendang is towards the sweeter side but bursting with tasty coconut milk. I adored the proficient roti prata chef who won me over with his crispy prata. Cons: As an avid hotel guest swimmer, this is the first time I had to share a pool with a few intelligent crows who dripped their beak into the minimum chlolrine pool. How bizzare.. Safety come first when making your way to Mid valley shopping mall. Many vehicles which include coach buses making their way to the carpark.. Bring along an umbrella and put spf."

"I booked this hotel last minute and was so impressed. Although it's about 5 - 7 mins walk from KSL city mall, it's much better than the hotels nearer to the mall. The room is clean and spacious, The breakfast buffet spread is good but is crowded."

"Yesterday we reached hotel at 3.30pm, we request to change the room because the room is towards the lift, and moreover the bed is the add-on bed from a single bed room as the attached photo. Thus we request to exchange the room and the receptionist who call JC Kaur told us that no room can be changed for now and need to wait till evening. Since I’m need to go out due to urgent case, I left and back at 9 something. Then she said can exchange the room for us. I will not coming back again!"

"Repeat my stay but I'm disappointed this time. My room was not as clean as I expected—sticky floor and dusty walls. The water dispenser machine was not working and the lights were exceptionally dim which made the stay uncomfortable. The ventilator in the toilet was not working and I was told that it was due to the swimming pool renovation. The swimming pool was unavailable and the gym had machines which were outdated and dusty. The location was convenient, but unfortunately, that was the only positive point. It has a mini mart at the lobby. I also found the breakfast to be good with many varieties of food. Overall, I feel that Trove hotel does not live up to its rating and needs serious improvements in cleanliness and facilities. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and makes changes for future guests."

"We headed to R&F link bridge from CIQ-City Square mall right after we were informed check-in is available around 2pm+.  We were quite disappointed with the long walk with breakage of the link bridge due to RTS construction works ongoing. The long climbs of stairs down then up to the continuation link bridge is rather a hassle especially for guest who carries luggage as we have seen along the way. Luckily we only carried light backpack as we only stay for one night. The procedure of checking in to R&F Princess Cove is rather simple by following a step-by-step instruction via WhatsApp. The unit assigned to us is at B1-1 Block on the 33rd floor. It was right after the rain stopped when we reached. There is a broken-handle window along the corridor hence not properly closed.  The heavy rain has actually poured onto the corridor flooring and we almost slipped as we didn’t see the patch of water. The unit assigned to us was according to our request (away from lift, non-smoking & high floor).  The unit we should say, is well maintained, clean and really nice!!! The only flaw is that the seaview is not as expected (only a slant opening seaview perhaps). The only bedroom ceiling light cum fan is great. However, the bedroom entrance downlight electrical point is tied to the ceiling light cum fan which the entrance downlight can’t be switched off when the fan is in operation during sleep….anyway, we turned on the aircon thereafter in order not to be affected by the glaring bedroom entrance downlight. Even there are 2 pillows each, they are rather too soft and we couldn’t sleep well.  Apart from the above, we enjoyed very much at the Living and Kitchen areas where we watched TV drama & having our meals. The next morning while heading out to walk around the premises, a pale stale stink smell from the rubbish chute on our level can be smelt while waiting for the lift to go down…… The exterior environment of R&F Princess Cove (phase 2) is comfortable especially on the 8th floor where gardens, swimming pool, gym, viewing deck, jogging track and link bridge to R&F mall are resided. One thing to praise is that R&F Princess Cove has friendly, nice security guards and staffs who have communicated via WhatsApp, thumbsup!  Overall we think it is good to stay provided the CIQ to R&F Princess Cove link bridge is complete."

"The property is within walking distance to the JB Checkpoint, which is very convenient. However, the construction project next to it has disrupted the pedestrian walkway, making it less safe and comfortable to walk along the main road. The room was clean and well-equipped, with a kitchen and even a microwave. Overall, it was a pleasant stay."
