"Booked this hotel for my family. This Holiday Inn Express turned out to be better than I expected. Being a new hotel and part of an international chain, I generally wasn't worried about any unpleasant surprises. The breakfast spread was ample and delicious; the noodles and pastries (like croissants), in particular, exceeded my expectations.
**Location:** The hotel is a bit removed from the main attractions, which I actually prefer as hotels right by scenic spots can often be overpriced and lack quality. It's about a 20-minute drive to Feitianshan, half an hour to Gaoyiling, and approximately an hour to Dongjiang Lake.
**Facilities:** Everything felt very new and well-maintained. Opting for a recently opened hotel certainly contributes to a much better experience.
**Cleanliness:** Satisfactory, I didn't encounter any issues during my stay.
**Ambiance:** The lobby is very spacious and grand. While I can't quite pinpoint the specific style, it definitely feels high-quality and upscale.
Overall, Chenzhou, with its beautiful lakes, unique Danxia landscapes, and grasslands, is a really pleasant place to visit with family on weekends or during leisure time."

The soundproofing in the rooms could use some improvement...
Cleanliness: Clean.
Environment: The hotel is quite close to the highway exit, which is convenient.
Service: The bellboy in the lobby was very polite. When we were leaving, he proactively and warmly greeted us, helped with our luggage, and even brought it to the car. I forgot his name, I don't think I saw a name tag on his uniform. The hotel breakfast was all very clean, and the variety was quite rich."

"Staff member Xiao Guo provided excellent service. A satisfying breakfast this morning set a great mood for the whole day! Upon entering the room, I found the air conditioning pre-set to a comfortable temperature, and there was even a charging socket on the bedside table – so convenient since I forgot my charger. The bathroom had a well-designed wet and dry separation, the hot water came quickly and had good pressure, and the toiletries smelled refreshing. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but everything was well-prepared and delicious; it was a good value for money."

"I have to give a shout-out to Lantingxu Chengyuan! The room was clean and tidy, and the attention to detail was excellent, making for a truly relaxing stay. The provided toiletries were very high-end, on par with a five-star hotel, leaving my skin feeling smooth and soft after use. The hotel boasts an unobstructed, panoramic view of the river. It's also just a short walk to the Xiao Dongjiang fog viewing point, so catching the morning mist is effortless. Plus, there's ample free parking, which was a huge relief for us traveling by car."

"A satisfying stay. I choose this hotel every time I come to Chenzhou. It is very cost-effective and the service is very good. It is fully equipped and very convenient. The front desk lady checked in with two people and specially upgraded the room for free, which is very considerate."

Location - property is located at the fringe of the town, quiet and away from the bustle of city noise. Very new hotel Service - served by Front Office staff Wendy . Polite and pleasant lady . She waived the additional pax breakfast charge for me 👍🏼 Cleanliness - overall cleanliness is pretty good at the lobby and room. However the carpet in my room is stained at the bed area. Amenities- standard amenities and facilities. Gym looks ok but cigarette smell lingering . Maybe due to a smoking fall. I decided not to use and did my run outside . The cafe / restaurant might be a little small. At 720 , I had to wait 15 min for a table to be available. Choice of food western and Chinese fare available . You should give your chef a set of proper uniforms. I observed a 大妈with a chef hat doing topping up of food. This is Hilton and a international brand.

Our family chose this hotel for our trip, and the experience was simply great! The hotel's facilities are very complete, and what I am particularly pleased with is that it is equipped with a swimming pool. This is a huge plus for families with young children. And the swimming pool is constant temperature. What’s even more surprising is that you can use the gym and swimming pool for free when you stay in the hotel, which is very cost-effective! The children had a great time playing in the swimming pool, and we adults could also relax in the gym. In short, this hotel performs well in all aspects and is highly recommended to everyone!

The hotel is clean, new and really worth the price. If you come with friends/ driving i would recommend the hotel thou. Otherwise It's in the middle of nowhere so make sure you stock up your snacks before coming. Its 22km from the train station which cost me 70rmb taxi to get here, 10km from the lake area. The owners were friendly and kind, offer to help bring my luggage up and down stair, also offer me free noodle for breakfast. walking distanct is less the 1km but you will need to cross the road into the other side first before walking. I didnt understand the owner's explaination so ended up walk 2km, just found that out taking the taxi back😂. overall that was a nice experience.

The boss was very enthusiastic and explained the precautions for visiting Mangshan very clearly. He also reminded us of the time to go to Mangshan early in the morning, fearing that it would be difficult to park our car. It is also very close to the east gate entrance of Mangshan, just over two kilometers away. The stream in front of the gate is very clear and the environment is very good. As for hygiene and facilities, there are still some differences compared to better hotels, but for a B&B in the mountains, this one is already very good. The road is not too easy to walk.

I went with my friend and our stay was amazing! The room was very spacious, with two beds, and very clean. The place is located very close to the entrance of the main attraction park, and on the side you can also find unofficial hiking paths that are popular on social media. The highlight was the staff, who had the best attitude and were super friendly and helpful. You can also have a brilliant breakfast for only 10 yuan, which will give you energy for a full day of hiking. Totally recommend this place — it’s a 10/10! 我和朋友一起去的，这次入住体验非常棒！房间非常宽敞，有两张床，而且非常干净。酒店位置离主要景点入口非常近，旁边还有一些在社交媒体上很火的非官方徒步小路。最让人印象深刻的是这里的工作人员，态度特别好，非常友善又乐于助人。这里还有很棒的早餐，只需10元，就能为你一整天的徒步提供充足的能量。强烈推荐这个地方——绝对是10/10！

Perfect stay if you want to go to yangtai grassland because of it’s proximity. Also the views are breathtaking when it’s not foggy and rainy😍 Serene place with absolutely great service! The staff, the girl Shyaw men, can’t spell it, and the young man who speaks English, are beyond amazing with attending to guests needs. They even ask for your food preferences. The attention to details really captivates the heart🩵🩵 Breakfast was so delicious and was brought to my room😍 Loved my stay here. Do keep in mind that the hotel is located far from the city so bring your own snacks. Didi will drop you off easily but you won’t find one on the way back. However the hotel staff will help you with arranging transport✨ No worries.
