I didn’t expect hotel bookings to be so popular during the Spring Festival holiday. We arrived at Mugen Youth Hostel at around 10 pm on the third day of the Chinese New Year. Since we were traveling as a family, the male and female combination did not quite meet the requirements of the youth hostel. There are public entertainment facilities outside, including a book bar, games, billiards, etc. It is really suitable for young backpackers.

The hotel is in a good location, from the Guanglian Expressway Yingchun Exit on Yangtian Lake (South Line) is closer than the North Line. 4 kilometers from the hotel to Yangtian Lake Scenic Area. Hotel is 3km from the tourist center where you can take a shuttle to the cable car. Drop-off service provided free of charge. There is also a restaurant next to the hotel which cooks nice meals. Mangshan was not easy for me to reach and the park's natural ambience was spoilt by the infrastructure including via ferratas in prominent locations, petting zoos and music played on repeat. One day is enough for this place and I don't think I will return as the national weather forecast was unreliable. I wanted an overcast day and it turned out fine, which is worse for photography. If you are in the area it is probably worth visiting but don't make a special trip from long distance.

The room is large, the bedding is new, clean, hygienic, and there is no discomfort after sleeping. It is not easy to walk a short distance in front of the villa. You should pay attention to safety when you drive at night. There are no street lights on the mountain road. It is recommended to come and stay before dark. The problem of mosquitoes, the merchant has improved, after all, it is on the mountain, the merchant installed screen windows in the room, and ordered mosquito repellent before we checked in. Finally, we climbed to the top and went out of the scenic spot at the north gate. It took 3 hours, all the essence sections, saving time and effort. The north gate scenic spot called the online car about 16 yuan and returned to this villa. You can also take a bath and change clothes and eat at the villa at noon. If you have dinner, the price of the farm is normal (not expensive, not cheap, not cost-effective), and you can order your own meals. Check out after lunch and drive to the bamboo raft in the Feitian Mountain Scenic Area in the afternoon. This is a very suitable route. A lot of physical strength is consumed in the morning. You can also go for a walk in Beihu Park and climb Suxianling Mountain. Price: Next time you come to stay in a hotel, this hotel will be your first choice. The location of the homestay is good, just beside the No. 2 observation deck. You can enter the scenic spot when you cross the road at the door. You don't have to go far. There is a net cast performance on the No. 2 observation deck, but it is not fixed. It will only be available if someone takes a boat. There are three net cast performances between 6:00 and 6:30 near the No. 3 observation deck. The owner and his wife are very enthusiastic and cook breakfast for us. A bowl of noodles for 10 yuan is delicious. Living here, don't worry about getting up too early to miss the foggy view of the small Dongjiang River. The fog disperses after 7 o'clock and 8 o'clock.

The hotel is not far from the high speed railway station. If you walk from the station towards the hotel, there is a very nice restaurant which you cross during the walk. In the morning you can buy dumplings nearby. The accommodation has only smoking rooms, at least when we checked in all the rooms we could choose smelled dirty. I hoped they openen the windows every day and night to get some fresh air. At the end this is what we did. There were a lot of other guests, but we did not hear them at all. The bathroom is standard and it can use a huge cleaning. Unfortunately there are no proper (throw away) slippers. For us one night was ok because we took the train the next morning.
