"Room: Stayed on the 27th floor in one of the executive rooms and it definitely was not executive. Luxury was definitely lacking as most of the interior in the bathroom/shower bath area was old and in need of help. The closet was so dusty inside too. However the room itself was nice enough with a big enough bed and a good view of the city. Complimentary fruit was there on arrival but compared to other executive rooms in hotels it missed the personal touch. The executive lounge on the 30th floor was fine enough with cakes, salad and some hot dishes alongside fruit and beverages. Would be nice if they offered wine though.
Staff: staff here are wonderful. Very attentive and cheerful. Cleaners, waiters, reception and everything in between- all lovely people.
Breakfast. The breakfast buffet is the highlight. Absolutely delicious and such a wide variety of to choose. Western and Chinese dishes are available with plenty of fruit and bakery items too. Fantastic.
Location: Easy enough to reach plenty of attractions and snack street is very close by.
Overall a pleasant stay."

"The hotel room is clean and nice just like the other Novotel hotels around the world. The buffet breakfast spread at The Square is reasonably good. The housekeeping staff did perform well in maintaining the room clean. There are many restaurants nearby the hotel, particularly the ‘underground’ (technically below the road junction) restaurants. The West Zhongshan Metro line 1 (Exit E) is about 7 minutes walk and then use Entrance D and Exit C of the underpass stairs/elevator to proceed to the Hotel passing Uniqlo and the restaurant with the hanging Panda. Will stay again at this hotel if visit Guiyang in future."

"I had a beautiful stay in this hotel. The location is convenient, a couple minutes walk from a metro station (exit B) and about 15 minutes to the railway stations. There is food all around, and a shopping center across. The staff is very friendly and gave me a free upgrade when I arrived.
The room I had a bathtub next to the window overlooking the best views in the city - I could see all the trendy night views. I went to the actual locations and the views were no match for what I could see from my window (plus, no crowds!)
The room has a nice projector and great lighting for viewing. The internet is fast and I didn’t have any issues streaming. There is some noise so the windows should be kept closed at night because there’s a lot of traffic noise.
Highly recommended and I’ll stay here again if I return."

"We were really satisfied with the room design – it was both Instagrammable and comfortable, and the view was absolutely lovely! The location of the hotel is quite good too – just around a 12-minute walk to the metro or bus, which made getting around the city very convenient.
Special thanks to the captain during breakfast; his service was truly top-notch. He consistently checked on guests with a warm smile, which made our mornings even better. Also, a big shoutout to Rabby for kindly assisting us when we asked about taking the bus around the city – really helpful!
There was just one issue we encountered during our stay. On the first day, we noticed that the hair conditioner couldn’t be pumped out and the hair dryer wasn’t functioning well. After we reported it, the team responded quickly by providing bottled conditioner and a replacement hair dryer – which we appreciated.
However, a few days later, housekeeping took away the replacement conditioner bottles, and we were left without any again. When we brought it up a second time, the team finally discovered that the original conditioner pump was broken and fixed it immediately.
While we’re happy with how quickly the staff responded, we do feel that for a 5-star hotel, it’s important to ensure that room amenities are checked thoroughly before guests check in.
Overall, we still had a great experience and appreciate the excellent service from the team!"

"This stay at Zhonghao was an unexpected experience. The front desk staff was warm and thoughtful, and the check-in was quick and efficient. "A very good stay experience. In terms of hardware, it opened in 2022. As soon as you enter the lobby, it is gorgeous and impressive. The room is spacious and bright, with a very good view. The furniture and facilities are all high-end. The area is larger than that of ordinary hotels, a total of 65 square meters. The bathroom area is simply too beautiful, and the toilet is smart and easy to use. In terms of service, all the service staff are enthusiastic, patient, and meticulous, especially **Yuan from the concierge department and Wu Junhui from the cleaning department are very friendly and careful. It is worth mentioning that the hotel staff also carefully drew a travel map, all of which were hand-drawn, which is really attentive. GGuest UserAtour is a fantastic hotel to stay with. I love that they are consistent in service, design, and comfort wherever we travel. When we checked in, the girl
at the front desk explained that the room away from the elevator on the 6th floor was very small, but there was one near the elevator on the 2nd floor that was larger if the 6th floor wasn’t acceptable. The room on the 6th floor was more like a closet with no space for a suitcase, the window wasn’t really a window, and it had a terrible smell. When I came back to the desk to ask I could change rooms, she immediately let us move to the larger room on the 2nd floor which was great! Clean, large enough for 2 suitcases, and a real window.
Traveling for several weeks, having the ability to laundry is key and I love their laundry facility- state of the art, industrial washer and dryers that work quickly and efficiently. The front desk staff is amazing- you can leave it with them and they’ll do the laundry (wash/ dry) and return to you free of charge, or you can do it yourself (but you may have to wait until a washer is available which is why they suggest leaving it with them).
The area around the hotel is extremely convenient- many restaurants, tea shops, etc., it’s within walking distance to a lot of shopping, and both bus stops/ metro stations are within walking distance.
Atour is a hotel brand that I trust and rely on, especially when we are traveling for an extended period of time.

NNazir DewanHotel location is good and the room size is reasonable. But the main issue is the Breakfast timing and items not even on the table after 7am. There are very limited varieties to choose from. Overall, the breakfast is very ordinary and being a four star hotel is a shame.
We also made a request two days ago to get dropped at the train station. The driver was on time at the reception but he was unfriendly and unprofessional even we said thanks many times , but he did not bother to accept our appreciation. The driver needs training to be online with the reputation of the hotel

MMonikaHotel in the center, close to Jiaxiu Pavilion and many restaurants. There was a strong smell in the bathroom in one of our rooms, but the reception changed our room. Hot water and heating worked without problems. The staff was helpful, spoke English. Breakfast was adequate.

OOi LiWe were given an upgrade and complimentary breakfast. All the staff including the manager were courteous and extremely helpful, going out of their way to give us directions and transportation information to places we wanted to visit. The metro station is about 200metres away and there’s a basement food court about 50metres away. I highly recommend this hotel.

Cchrischan1609First: this place is not a Carlton Hotel chain hotel. It is a rip off name.
Secondly: it is located on the 8th floor of a commercial tower.
As a 3 star rated hotel in china, it's on the high end of the scale inside.
as a solo traveller, i am mainly looking at convenience and hygiene. I booked this place for it's proximity to the train station for my early morning flight.
Arriving at the station, it took me 40 minutes to find my way to walk over to the hotel, and would have appreciated more information.
How to get there: Exit the station at the west plaza, on your right somewhere, you will find a path which leads to an underpass to cross the highway. Walk straight into the basement of the commercial building, turn left and then go up the escalators. Then the hotel's lifts are on the left as you enter the building. The current state of the elevator lobby and the lift is dire. See photos. Cigarette butts, and renovation mess.
In the reception, there was a lady in front of me that was haggling the prices of her room. Just so that you get an idea of the place.
Once I got into the room, it was fine. Quite a nice area. But there was no Aircon control, it was all centralised, but at least it was cool in Guiyang that night.
There was a wet mark on the sofa, see photo. I inspected the room for hygiene, and it was ok, clean towels, clean toilet, clean sheets, pillows didn't smell. The toilet flushes well, and shower room was clean. In fact, apart from the sofa mark and the rug condition, everything was good. I marked down the hygiene mainly from a suspicious wet mark and the state of the lobby/lift.
I used the self checkout in the morning to catch my train, since the reception was sleeping under the counter. It takes 10-15 min today walk to the station with luggage, with no rain shelter. Be aware. It is probably better to just book a hotel in a slightly better area and take a cab.

Steaming freshly cooked- noodles with different toppings, fried rice, steamed rice, rice porridge, various dishes, fruit juices, hot beverages, fruits, desserts, on-the-go breakfast snacks, etc. The manager personally managed the breakfast spread, making sure the food and drinks were replenished and invited guests to try the breakfast noodle.

My train was delayed due to weather conditions. Instead of arriving at 22:11, I arrived at Guiyang North Railway station at almost 23:00, the manager promptly replied to my messages to see to it that I correctly followed the directions to the hotel since I don't speak Chinese and it was already late at night. He assured me that the staff was expecting me and the room had been prepared and reserved for me. They upgraded me to a bigger room + complimentary breakfast! ❤️
- The staff and the manager helped me book a taxi to the airport. It was raining when I left for the airport and they provided a service umbrella and instructed the driver to drop me at T2 on my behalf since I am a foreigner and I don't speak Chinese!

GGoh KCPlus point: Hotel is about 800m from assembly point for one day local tour packages. Limitations: The hotel driveway can be messy with many tour coaches picking up tourists. The breakfast hall was chaotic during peak hour notably 6.30-7.00am when guests had difficulties finding seats and food. The room is good and clean. Staffs are nice and helpful.
