Orange Hotel (Guiyang Grand Cross)

There was a persistent BBQ smell in the 20th-floor hallway, which also permeated the room. The room only had two power outlets, which was quite inconvenient. The only good thing was the location, being very close to the subway station.

First off, the hotel's location is excellent. Being in the city center with a courtyard is a big plus. As for the service, the front desk seemed a bit flustered with our requests, but that's understandable. Overall, the service was good, and the room was great too! ദ്ദി(˵ •̀ ᴗ - ˵ ) ✧

The room experience exceeded my expectations! The space was large, clean, and comfortably laid out, with excellent natural light and ventilation. The bedding was soft and cozy, ensuring a truly restful sleep. The cleanliness details were meticulously handled, making the overall feel warm and relaxed. My stay was absolutely perfect, highly recommended!

Everything else was okay, but the cleanliness was quite poor. There was a lot of dust in the wardrobe, and the sofa had what looked like mud smears. After checking in that evening, I called the front desk to ask them to clear the trash before I went out, but when I returned, I found the trash still hadn't been removed. As a multi-location chain brand, the room rates here are already quite high, similar to prices within Beijing's Third Ring Road, but the value for money isn't as good.

Upon checking in, I was informed that my room was a 'Orange 1.0' room, facing the street. I was told there would be noise every morning at 7 AM and that changing to a non-street-facing room would cost an additional 49 RMB. Ironically, the noise inside the room was much louder than outside, haha. At 5:20 AM, the light control device in the room malfunctioned, randomly beeping and turning on the lights. Then at 6:20 AM, the exhaust fan started making an incredibly loud noise. How was I supposed to get any sleep with all that? My original plan was to catch an early flight home the next day and visit Qianling Mountain Market beforehand. Well, thanks to all this disturbance, I barely slept a few hours and couldn't make it to the morning market. This is how my Guizhou trip ended. No exaggeration, after traveling for 20 days and visiting 7 cities in Guizhou, this was by far the worst hotel, and it wasn't even the cheapest. This was my first experience staying at an Orange Hotel, and I will never stay at one again in my life.

The location is fantastic, right in the city center at the big crossroads. There are plenty of local snacks and shopping malls nearby, and it's convenient for taking taxis or the subway. The room was very clean, with smart facilities and excellent soundproofing, so it was quiet for sleeping. The front desk staff were very friendly, and luggage storage is free, which is particularly helpful for travelers catching flights or going out. Overall, I had a very satisfying experience, and I'd prioritize staying here again when visiting Guiyang.

The room was super comfortable, and the front desk staff, especially the guy, was amazing! He even helped us take photos. Our whole stay was fantastic! A special shout-out to the housekeeper who cleaned room 21026 on the afternoon of the 17th – she was excellent! She did such a thorough job, and the room was sparkling clean and tidy. I was really impressed! I'll definitely be staying at this Orange Hotel again.

The room was spotless, the sheets and duvet covers were sparkling white and odor-free. The bathroom had excellent wet/dry separation, and the vanity and mirror were polished to a shine. Even the corners were clean, making for a very reassuring stay. 4. **Facilities:** The room facilities are very new and highly intelligent, with one-touch control for lights and curtains. The mattress was just right – not too hard, not too soft – making for a very comfortable sleep. The water pressure in the bathroom was strong, and there was plenty of hot water. The TV and Wi-Fi speeds were both fast, perfectly meeting the needs for both business and leisure. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in the area! Highly recommended!
