"The hotel's location is superb, right inside Daming Lake, and they even deliver takeout to your room. The room itself is lovely, clean, and tidy, and you can sit inside and enjoy the view of the small bridges and flowing water outside. The staff are also incredibly friendly and energetic. Breakfast is a buffet with fruit, salad, and a wide variety of dishes. This will definitely be my top choice for hotels when I visit Jinan again!"

"I stayed one night in Jinan to rest and chose the Lvfaguhe InterContinental Hotel. Overall, I'd rate it 7-8 out of 10. The location is its biggest highlight, being right in the heart of Jinan's downtown commercial area, next to Guihe Shopping Mall. You can walk to attractions like Baotu Spring, Quancheng Square, and Kuanhouli, making it super convenient for shopping and sightseeing. I specifically chose this hotel for its prime location. The hotel's facade and lobby are grand and impressive, with a high ceiling design that gives it a luxurious, high-end feel. My first impression was definitely upscale and sophisticated. However, the room's hardware is a noticeable drawback. The hotel has been open for quite a while, and the room facilities are generally dated. You can see clear signs of wear and tear on the furniture, bathroom fixtures, and appliances. The decor style is a bit old-fashioned, lacking the refined touch of newer hotels, and the maintenance of details could be improved. What most affected my experience this stay was the communication regarding services, with multiple basic oversights. I booked two rooms, but upon check-in, I was only given four key cards for a single room. After going upstairs and realizing I couldn't access the second room, I had to go back to the front desk to get new ones, which was a time-consuming hassle. Additionally, the booking included the hotel's standard spring water bottles, but neither room had them. When I went to the front desk to ask for them, there was a lot of back-and-forth and blame-shifting, requiring repeated communication for a minor issue, which lowered both the efficiency of my check-in and my overall impression. The bedding was comfortable, and the basic living functions were fine. It's a good choice for travelers who prioritize a city-center location and mainly focus on sightseeing."

"The hotel environment far exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious, and the bathroom, shower, and vanity were all separate. The central air conditioning was incredibly powerful, keeping the room at a very comfortable temperature. Breakfast was also fantastic, with a wide variety of hot, cold, sweet, and savory dishes, including plenty of local specialties that both kids and adults loved. The hotel even combined the beds for us in advance, and the front desk offered warm bottled water, which was a very thoughtful touch given the cold weather. It's definitely the top choice for family trips!"

"If Tagore had come here back then, the Shanxi Hotel probably wouldn't have stood a chance. The biggest highlight of my trip to Jinan wasn't Daming Lake or Baotu Spring, but this hotel. It was a completely unexpected and fantastic stay. The service was top-notch, and the elegant Chinese decor was perfect for a solo traveler looking to relax and recharge. The hotel restaurant's food was delicious, and when they weren't too busy, I could even have it delivered to my room, then order a pot of wine and enjoy the serene atmosphere alone. However, some rooms don't have great natural light. The room I initially checked into wasn't very comfortable in terms of layout and lighting, but after I mentioned it to the front desk, they quickly moved me to a satisfactory room. Overall, the stay was excellent. I've saved this place, and if I ever come to Jinan again, I'll definitely be back here."

"This hotel is right next to Quancheng Square, and the scenic view room offers expansive views, allowing you to watch the musical fountain from your room at night. The room facilities are clean and tidy, the bedding is comfortable, and all the complimentary welcome fruits were delicious, showing the hotel's thoughtful service. I didn't get a chance to use the gym or indoor pool due to time constraints, but I imagine they would be excellent too. I especially recommend staying here if you're doing business at Xiangheng Square; the two buildings are connected, so you can go back and forth without stepping outside, which is super convenient. It's also within walking distance of key attractions like Baotu Spring, Black Tiger Spring, Daming Lake, and Wulongtan, and it's easy to get to Kuanhouli and Furong Street for food and shopping. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Jinan."

"Due to a change in plans, I found myself back in Jinan, and my first thought was to stay at your hotel again. It's incredibly convenient being so close to the airport, and the shuttle service makes travel stress-free 🚕 (a special shout-out to the shuttle drivers, who are always super friendly and give helpful reminders to guests). The breakfast is incredibly generous for a hotel in this price range ☕️👍. When I returned this time, the check-in was handled by the 'Front Desk Manager 💓,' who provided excellent service. As a returning guest from out of town, we even received welcome fruit, which was a lovely gesture and showed the hotel's sincerity. Overall, it was a fantastic and thoughtful experience 👍👍👍."

"Had a fantastic stay at the Holiday Inn, part of the InterContinental group. Castiel at the front desk was super efficient and helpful during check-in. The room was spotless, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent. The breakfast buffet offered a great variety of options, with a good balance of meat and vegetarian dishes. The hotel's location is superb, making travel very convenient. Overall, it offers outstanding value for money. It's my top choice for business trips or vacations, and I'll definitely be staying here again."

"Just drove back to Beijing and I'm determined to write a genuine, unsolicited review.🌹 We checked in on May 3rd and checked out on May 4th. We booked a one-bedroom suite with executive lounge access. Since I'm an IHG member, the hotel kindly upgraded us to a larger room, which made our stay even more comfortable, as we were two adults with two children. We checked in at 3 PM and headed straight to the Executive Lounge for afternoon tea. I must praise the Executive Lounge here – it was very professional, attentive, and high-quality. They offered two sweet treats, one savory item, plus cookies, nuts, coffee, and soft drinks. It was excellent! The selection might have been small, but everything was delicious. Afterwards, we went for a swim. The pool temperature felt even warmer than advertised, which was a pleasant surprise. The evening happy hour was also good; while there weren't many dishes, it was enough to fill us up 😄. What really touched me was when my child got sick and threw up on the bedsheets after drinking milk late at night. I called guest services to change the sheets, and the staff member was incredibly proactive in asking if my child was feeling unwell. That level of concern was truly moving. The mattress was very comfortable, and I slept wonderfully. Breakfast the next morning was also abundant and delicious 👏. This hotel was the most comfortable and best one we stayed at during this trip to Jinan. Its refinement and quality shine through in the details. Clean, tidy, thoughtful, and professional – it's the first hotel that I've felt was actually better than what the photos and videos show 😊. This dedication to hospitality is truly impressive, and this is the longest review I've written in my 20 years with Trip.com. I hope the hotel continues to uphold its quality and gets even better. ❤️"

"I chose this Sheraton because I was going to a concert in Jinan and it's really close to the Olympic Sports Center. The location is super convenient, just a 10-20 minute walk, and there are lots of great restaurants nearby. This time, I specifically booked an executive suite to enjoy the executive lounge benefits. They have afternoon tea from 2 PM and light dinner options after 5 PM – you can definitely get a full meal there. Breakfast was also excellent, with a wide variety of choices. Their desserts are particularly good! Since it was the Dragon Boat Festival and a concert weekend, the hotel was packed, but the service was still top-notch. Before check-in, staff reached out to ask about our needs, and you could contact them for anything during your stay, which was incredibly convenient. A special shout-out to our service staff, Caroline, who was truly available 24/7 and responded super quickly. We had a fantastic experience throughout our stay – highly recommend!"
