Xi Yue Suji Resort Hotel is a high-quality courtyard-style holiday retreat that integrates multiple century-old residences and ancient courtyards, blending ancient Kucha culture with modern hotel design concepts. The term "śāyau" originates from the Tocharian language, meaning "for the beauty of life." Like a ribbon fluttering along the routes of westward journeys and eastward returns, it spans millennia, bearing witness to the ancient cultures of the Western Regions and singing the song of life amidst boundless deserts. "Śāyau" embodies both the yearning for a beautiful life and the pursuit of dreams and ideals. Within our meticulously restored courtyards, several century-old buildings whisper like storytellers of time, quietly recounting fragments of Kucha culture along the Silk Road. The ancient legends of the Thirty-six Kingdoms of the Western Regions intertwine here, and Xi Yue's 36 guest rooms revive these distant realms, continuing to narrate their beautiful and mysterious tales. Each room here is a sanctuary of seclusion, transporting guests on a journey through time and space, allowing them to experience the most essential balance between life and nature. Every wall and window here is engraved with traces of history, bridging the East and Eurasia, connecting the cultural threads of the past and present, and presenting millennia-old stories in a vivid form to modern travelers.
Staying at Xi Yue feels like stepping into another world: tradition and innovation intertwine, classic and modern coexist. The depth of history and culture, the comfort of a modern hotel—every aspect is present here, with poetry and stories filling every corner. As night falls, the lake in the courtyard mirrors the sky, with lights and starlight reflecting each other, allowing us to gaze upon our parallel selves. In the tranquility of the long night, with a cup of fragrant Western Regions tea, the melody of a five-stringed lute, and the music of Kucha, we wander through ancient civilizations while also discovering our true selves.
Xi Yue Suji Resort Hotel is both a tribute to Kucha culture and a gift to contemporary travelers. Here, you will feel the beauty and eternity flowing through time.
"The hotel has a unique style and is a popular spot for many. The pool was empty during the off-season. The room's cleanliness wasn't great; the sink area was dusty, and the chairs and tables in the courtyard were covered in dust. I can understand all of that. What was truly despairing were the bugs. As soon as I entered the room, I saw a cockroach by the bed, which I dealt with and threw outside the door. In the morning, when I went to the toilet, there was another one by the commode. I truly had a headache dealing with it. On top of that, small black flying insects flew into my nose while I was sleeping at night. For this price, even in the off-season, it's not cheap, so why can't they even handle the bugs? Regarding pets, there's the cleaning fee. When I called in early April, they quoted one price, which was even lower than what was listed online. But when I arrived, the price they wanted was almost as much as the room rate. The young lady at the front desk was quite nice, and in the end, they charged me the online price. I hope you clarify your cleaning fee policy and ensure proper cleaning. When checking out, regular guests could just leave, but I had to wait for them to inspect the room before I could go. I paid more, was treated as inferior, and it delayed my departure time, almost causing me to miss my highway exit due to road closures. If you're worried, you could charge a deposit. It's really inconvenient for tourists who are in a hurry to travel."
