"The reception area is currently undergoing renovation, so we're sharing the lobby and common facilities with the neighboring villas. I expect that once the renovation is complete and they operate independently, especially during peak season, the value for money might not be as good. While the pictures mostly feature villas, the actual accommodation here consists of small, older wooden cabins, which do have their own rustic charm. Staying here saves you the 10 Baht per person pier fee (for boat transfers). It's also very close to the pier, the service is excellent, and the location is fantastic. All things considered, for just over 300 Baht a night, the value for money is truly exceptional."

"Stayed here for 3 nights, Rooms are chalet concept. 5mins walk from the pier. Pros - Lots of beach chairs - Quite beach (away from the noisy boats and safer to swim) - Provide beach towels - Massage hut by the beach (run separately by a different operator) - 5mins walk to walking street - Provide snorkelling gear for rental - Breakfast was ok. Restaurant food was good. - Friendly staff - Awesome mini fridge (super cold) Cons - Restaurant closes at 7pm - WiFi is not stable at all - The hotel sewerage system is not so good hence there’s a smell (bare-able) from the bathroom. Both our rooms were like that. Just mask it with the air refresherner they provided."

"The hotel was in the centre of the island so a few minutes walk from either side beaches, the staff kept it clean and tidy. The bed was soft and comfortable and the aircon was clean and cold on hot days. The hotel has a restaurant where you receive discount on your food/drinks and is above the hotels minimart which has better pricing than the nearby 7/11. When i return in February i will stay here again."

"Chareena Beach is the beachfront section of the Chareena Resort. There's also Chareena Hill, a more sophisticated resort located on the slope next to it, with beautiful views of the bay. It's also more expensive, of course. It's home to The Bay restaurant, with the best views of the entire beach and where breakfast is served. Chareena Garden, which we didn't get to during our one-night stay, is also available. Chareena Beach is a fairly simple, small bungalow located 30-50 meters from the beautiful Pattaya Beach. However, it's very clean with comfortable beds, large pillows (though that's a matter of personal preference), signature linens, and towels. Tea, a kettle, coffee, cream, and water (again, in signature Chareena Hill drinking water bottles) are provided. A mosquito repellent is included, but we didn't see a single mosquito there, nor any other insects. Everything is of a very high standard. Sure, these aren't the luxurious bungalows of some other hotels, but for the price, they're clean, tidy, have a delicious breakfast with a coffee machine, an egg station (scrambled eggs, omelettes, scrambled eggs, or pancakes, all cooked right in front of you), and several hot, delicious dishes. There's also a beach restaurant with cocktails and lunch prepared by the same chef who served breakfast. A special thank you to him! Thanks also to the manager, Toi (if I gave him his name correctly), for making our stay feel like home and organizing a cruise around the island and to neighboring Adang. And overall, it was fun to chat about a variety of topics in the evening. Next time, we'll definitely stay at least three days at either the Beach or the Hill. It's a great experience!"

"This is my second consecutive year staying at this hotel. Booking a sea view room this time made the experience even better. Our room was conveniently located to the right of the lawn, just a 30-meter walk from the restaurant, which offered direct sea views. The rooms here are incredibly spacious and comfortable; I'll definitely book a full week on my next visit! Breakfast was pretty good, with freshly made noodle soup that was very satisfying. During the off-season, they even offer a 10% dining discount voucher. We could bring our fresh catch back from fishing directly to the restaurant to be cooked for 300 Baht per kilogram. It's a decent price; even though it's 50 Baht more expensive than the walking street, I personally feel Benhard Restaurant offers a much better and cleaner environment."

"Lovely part of Lipe, you can do to the water and do snorkeling right away. I got a room near the beach on the first floor. Spacious with all windows so you can make your room quite bright. The problem is you can hear everything than happens on the second floor , it was quite annoying when people came and started walking and it woke me up. Breakfast is so so but eatable. Coffee and tea are free the whole day. One manager was extremely helpful and everytime was coming to ask her she was more than willing to help or solve my problems! I will post her picture here she was really great!"

"My friend stayed in room G22 on the ground floor, and found it quite good. 1. **Location:** Upon arrival at Pattaya Beach, simply walk left. You can entrust your luggage to the hotel staff and walk over yourself, which saves 10 per person per trip on island transfer fees. 2. The main entrance offers easy access to Walking Street. For Sunset Beach, exit via the back door at the top of the property, turn right, and it's a short walk away. 3. The breakfast spread is excellent and varied, featuring a wide range of options like vegetables, fruits, meats, carbs, milk, and eggs, easily fulfilling your daily dietary needs. 4. We stayed in a garden view room, which offered great value for money. Although it was a bit of a walk to our room at the top of the property, there was a complimentary shuttle service available. 5. While there were some mosquitoes outside the room, we didn't encounter any inside, nor any other insects. The only minor downside was the shower pressure, which was just average; otherwise, everything was great."

"Fantastic resort, beautiful gardens and large swimming pool (nearly always quiet in 1st week December). Just a short walk down hill/steps to beach. A short walk to north end of sunrise beach to where zodiac bar is. Breakfast is very varied and very good quality. One downside is only one coffee machine which isn’t enough to serve guests so always a long queue. We had grand garden villa which were so big. Massive terrace/balcony too but no furniture so just a big wasted space - 2 loungers would be great if the resort could add in the future. Would definitely stay again for a third visit to Lipe"

GGuest UserFrom the moment we arrived via boat to the most beautiful setting, we were breath taken! The private beach is great for snorkeling and safe for kids. Our room (no. 6) was a good size, nice balcony, some sea views and comfortable. Staff were warm, welcoming and helpful, especially the receptionist who was always smiling and super friendly. Of our 8-day stay in Koh Lipe, we spent 3 nights here. By comparison, the hotel we moved to next was marginally cheaper, also with a high (but not as high) rating. Ten Moons was the better deal!!! Pros: - Stunning location - Large glass water jug in the room (which was refilled daily using a 5 gallon water bottle rather than multiple small plastic bottles). Great to see the hotel reducing the use of plastic! - Great breakfast selection - Food available all day - Clean - Staff helpful and friendly - Life jackets, beach toys, snorkels, etc available for use for free - Quiet location/very peaceful and relaxing - Lovely sand (sand texture tends to vary in Koh Lipe however it was great here!) - Walking distance or ferry ride to walking street and more livelier areas Cons: - One of the few hotels not showing a sign or communicating/educating tourists NOT to step on coral. The by-product is that there isn’t a lot of live coral to see although there is still a lot of fish life. By comparison, we saw a hotel further down actively promoting not to stand on coral with staff educating tourists - No pool (although not needed as the sea area is more than ample to swim in) - No kayaks (available for hire at THB200 per hour nearby, less than a minute walk away) - Not for people who struggle with stairs (although there are a couple of villas on the beach without the use of stairs) We would most certainly stay here again!

MMarldeboneI have no idea how Idllyic rates as highly as it does. And I’ve stayed at 5 different hotels on Koh Lipe, so I’ve got a good basis for local comparison. It’s not *bad* - the problem is that it’s priced as a premium option when the reality is in many ways non-premium. It looks kind of fancy on the outside, but that’s a veneer. Basically, it’s bad *value*. If they charged half as much as they do I’d be giving it 8/10 & be pretty happy. But for what they charge it’s a disappointing 4/10. The good: The beach is beautiful. This end of Sunrise Beach is one of the nicer spots. Lots of sun-lounges placed on/near the actual beach, which can be lacking at some places. Staff are friendly and helpful. Not as proactive as I’ve experienced elsewhere (which is probably a management issue) - but they’re still good. The setting / gardens are quite nice, albeit feel a bit cramped - lots of big buildings in a small space. The bad: While in general I’d rate the cleanliness of the place as high, there were several large & obvious stains on the duvet (very visible through a (clean) top sheet). The room (a “Deluxe Cabana Garden View”) was quite small for the price. The place I stayed on Koh Lipe immediately prior - which was leagues better in every way - about 25% more money got me a (much nicer) room ~3x the size. Room was looking pretty tired & quite poorly maintained. Particularly the bathroom. Multiple rain leaks in the shower ceiling/walls - one above the towel rain, and combined they splash water all over the bathroom floor. Cracked perspex panels & rotted wood trims in the bathroom, poorly applied caulk & overpaint, water stains, etc. Both doors jam in their frames. The sort of rooms that probably looked/were amazing when new, but not any more. Shower doesn’t drain properly & often lets out septic-tank-smells. Not uncommon for accom on a small island like Lipe, and not the end of the world, but I would’ve expected better for the price. Plus a (fresh water) leak from a hose connected to the toilet. Food & drink prices are obscene for Thailand, even by the standards of higher-end places on Lipe. And to add insult the food items I tried were average. It’s also literally the only place I’ve stayed (or eaten) on Lipe which adds VAT & a 10% service charge - that I have zero confidence is actually going to the staff - on top of prices. Which just feels cheap & petty. Charge what you’re going to charge - but just list what the total cost is going to be. Breakfast buffet is disappointing - variety is poor (for the price point), food isn’t great, and any “hot” food that’s not cooked specifically for you will be cold. The annoying: They practically force you to install their app, nominally to allow messaging with the hotel staff. And it does do that. But they also use it to spam you with constant push notifications trying to get you to buy stuff. They’ve sent 7 *so far* just today. And there’s no way to turn them off. The fact they don’t have a way to disable promotions says a lot about the place I think. The rooms are really poorly *designed*, eg: One accessible powerpoint in the entire room (outside the bathroom) - and it has the switch & plug so close that you can’t plug a phone charger into it. There isn’t even a power point for the kettle. The chandelier-lamps in the room act like wind chimes with the AC on. So you can either have a cool room, or have a constant jangling noise. Very hard & uncomfortable mattresses (a bit subjective, but these are *hard*). One small towel rail in the whole bathroom/room. Good luck if you want to hang two bath towels - or even a hand towel - or want to dry your swimsuit inside. I’ll finish reiterating what I said at the start - this place isn’t *bad*. It’s just not particularly good, in a whole myriad of ways, while pitching & pricing itself like it’s great. You can do far better for the same (actually, less) money.

Service by the hotel staff is also excellent 😁 The breakfast and lunch we ordered was good.. Although do think they should make it adult only hotel as kids in the other villas during the day can be noisy which can’t be avoided. Otherwise Great for couples for special occasion or a romantic getaway 👍🏼

GGuest UserAnanya Lipe is situated right next to the pier, about three minutes walk away. Upon arrival at the pier, there was a staff waiting for us to help with our luggage. Check in was smooth and we were served with the welcome drink. Room is clean, big and as advertised. Vast options for breakfast.

IImcutiepieThe staff will pick you up from the pier and it's free. Upon arrival they will tell you the rules. Room is big and spacious, the only thing not good is the water pipe is leakage. The floor is quite oily and I almost fall down for few times. Other than that hotel facility is good, got a welcome drink upon arrival. Free snorkelling glass and kayak. Breakfast is good too . Forgot what's the name of the staff at the breakfast bar, but the curly hair boy did a great job serving the breakfast.

GGuest UserThis is a wonderful place to stay if you don't want seafront. It's only a 3 minute walk to the beach if you want to watch the sunrise and five minutes away from Walking Street. The rooms are a generous size and cleaned every day. The place is clean and tidy and staff are always on hand to help with your every need. The pool is cleaned every morning and no restrictions on when you can use it is a plus for me, as I'm up at 6.00 a.m. and can swim for an hour before breakfast. The breakfast itself is simple but adequate - we went at low season so this maybe different at other times. To finish on a positive note there is a pick-up and drop-off service to from and to the ferry terminal - we called it our own Executive Transfer. Those who have experienced this will know what I mean! Thank you San Pita for a wonderful experience.

GGuest UserThis hotel is not too far from Pattaya beach, but Google maps will let you down - it says there is no connection. Walk out past the front desk, turn left, and walk to the beach. Fairly convenient, although a bit far from the walking street. There does not seem to be anything near the hotel.  I enjoyed my stay here because the room was neat and newly decorated. The staff seemed nice, although I did not stop for any meals. On the day of my departure, I walked to the ferry boat launch.

No view of the beach from our room, but you can sit in the dining room for the free buffet breakfast and view the beach and the pool! Some breakfast buffet items change daily, but always include eggs, toast, pancakes, sausage, cereals, roti, vegetables and salad, fruit, rice porridge, juice, tea and real espresso and steamed milk. We enjoyed our stay!
