"We liked Akira a lot! It’s super spacious and comfy rooms were really nice. The bathroom was also big and all in all super clean. We had a pool view apartment. Only thing in the room was the quite loud aircon. We tried to get it into a night mode, but it didn’t work. And without you cannot do it. So we slept with earplugs. The breakfast was the best we had on our Southeast Asia Tour. Of course the jam and stuff really sweet and 50/50 Asian food but nevertheless really nice. Sometimes the English of the staff was not perfect so there were some misunderstandings but all were really nice. They also brought us to the ferry with the car. We would recommend the hotel and also come back here!"

"Although I give the resort good marks overall I still have somewhat mixed feelings. For two days of the trip we stayed in a superior bungalow which is obviously the oldest part of the resort accommodations. They are really very small and there is very little room for bags and clothes and the bathroom is very small. Also our room was back to back attached to another bungalow and there was very little sound proofing between the rooms. After two nights we upgraded to the newest part of the resort near the pool....and yes...it cost a bit more. But the rooms overlooking the pool are much more spacious and have adequate closet space and bathroom . They gave us a discount on the upgrade and it was well worth it. The breakfast was adequate but not extensive. The staff was very helpful. It's in a good location on the beach near the ferry port....which was handy."

"Be careful of the budget fan rooms...unfortunately my bed was full of bed bugs and I had over 100 bites on my feet and legs alone which had an impact on my stay because I had to cover my legs up for the rest of my holiday...NOT IDEAL IN SOUTH ASIA ☹️☹️🤬 The reception staff did change my room to another fan room which was fair but an upgrade would have been better considering I had to pay out of my own pocket for anti-histamine tablets and creams and painkillers 👎👎👎 Hotel was in an amazing location...right on the beach and next to walking street The complex was nice and the pool really good Breakfast nothing to shout out about 4/10 Would i stay here again.....NO"

"Stayed here for 3 nights, Rooms are chalet concept. 5mins walk from the pier. Pros - Lots of beach chairs - Quite beach (away from the noisy boats and safer to swim) - Provide beach towels - Massage hut by the beach (run separately by a different operator) - 5mins walk to walking street - Provide snorkelling gear for rental - Breakfast was ok. Restaurant food was good. - Friendly staff - Awesome mini fridge (super cold) Cons - Restaurant closes at 7pm - WiFi is not stable at all - The hotel sewerage system is not so good hence there’s a smell (bare-able) from the bathroom. Both our rooms were like that. Just mask it with the air refresherner they provided."

"I stayed in Street Hostel during my trip to Koh Lipe. It’s very convenient location. Only about 10 min walk from port. It’s in the main walking street, very close to the beach. The room is clean, big bed. Common space is also clean. WiFi is sufficient for a video calls. They also give you a discount for the place next door for food (very cozy and delicious Thai food)."

"The scenery was absolutely stunning! Given that all the units are bungalows, some insect issues are certainly to be expected, but it was really getting out of control... I had to call the hotel staff repeatedly for assistance. The next day, after checking out and moving to a new hotel, I realized I'd left something behind. However, the staff were incredibly helpful and even delivered it to my new accommodation. That's fantastic service!"

"My friend stayed in room G22 on the ground floor, and found it quite good. 1. **Location:** Upon arrival at Pattaya Beach, simply walk left. You can entrust your luggage to the hotel staff and walk over yourself, which saves 10 per person per trip on island transfer fees. 2. The main entrance offers easy access to Walking Street. For Sunset Beach, exit via the back door at the top of the property, turn right, and it's a short walk away. 3. The breakfast spread is excellent and varied, featuring a wide range of options like vegetables, fruits, meats, carbs, milk, and eggs, easily fulfilling your daily dietary needs. 4. We stayed in a garden view room, which offered great value for money. Although it was a bit of a walk to our room at the top of the property, there was a complimentary shuttle service available. 5. While there were some mosquitoes outside the room, we didn't encounter any inside, nor any other insects. The only minor downside was the shower pressure, which was just average; otherwise, everything was great."

"Nice hotel. Great view from the window. But they didn't let us in early, not even a minute. It was exactly 2:00 PM, and after we checked in, there were no towels. We went to reception and they said they'd bring them later, even though we wanted to shower after check-in. And there were tons of ants!!! They were crawling all over the veranda and even into the room, which was really disconcerting. And the beach next to the hotel is very rocky at the bottom; our feet were hurt. We went to the opposite side of the island, where the water slopes slowly and there are no rocks. The water there is very shallow; to swim, you have to go about 15 meters from the shore."

"This is the best hotel on Koh Lipe! The pool access room is spacious and thoughtfully designed with stylish details. The bed and pillows are incredibly comfortable. The beach is beautiful, with water colors as stunning as the Maldives or Seychelles. There are two swimming pools, and a DJ plays by the beachfront pool during the day, creating a very pleasant atmosphere. The food at the restaurant is delicious, and breakfast is excellent with a good variety including cheeses, salmon, and various fruits. Service was a bit slow during the day but improved significantly for dinner. They offer water activities like kayaks and paddleboards, with the first hour being free. The gym is small but has all the essential equipment."

"Extremely satisfied with the room! It's spacious, the bed is huge, and there's a swimming pool. The price I got by booking in advance was an absolute steal! Koh Lipe isn't very big, and you can reach a beach with just a short walk. It's perfect for those who don't necessarily need a sea-view room but prefer a private bungalow."

YYemao yemaoBreakfast is a la carte and the portions are so generous that you can't finish it all. The swimming pool is included with the room and can only be used by guests staying in the room. Children under 12 only need to pay 360 yuan for breakfast without an extra bed. The hotel has only 15 rooms, 6 of which have swimming pools. The hotel provides a free shuttle bus to the pedestrian street. The beach is quite nice and the best place to watch the sunset in the evening. The minibar is replenished daily for free, with one bottle of Coke, one bottle of Sprite, two bottles of beer, a can of biscuits, and four bottles of mineral water.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is normally located, close to the main street, but quiet, the room is spacious, there is a kettle, a mini fridge, air conditioning, hot water in the shower. Of the minuses: the walls and corners were cobwebs, there were spiders on the walls, on the ceiling, on the curtains, a cockroach was seen once ... the wifi in the room was disgusting, it was practically non-existent. Cleaning is only when you ask and is very mediocre, they will sweep the floor, make the bed and throw out the garbage, they didn’t even look into the bathroom, as everything was in the sand, it remained, the towels weren’t changed, they didn’t give new toilet paper. The shower constantly smelled of sewage, we had to close the door tightly, the hose from the shower was all leaking. The light in the room is very dim, the pillows on the bed are hard.

EElenaLocation - 3 minutes from the pier where the boat from Pak Bara arrives. 5 minutes to walking street across the beach When choosing a room, I didn’t understand the difference between wooden and standard rooms, so I chose the first one. It turned out that it had a floor made of wooden boards with gaps between them. Theoretically, insects could get into the room through these cracks, but during the night I lived there, insects did not bother me. There is a kettle in the room (mine was faulty and did not turn off automatically), coffee and water are available at the reception at any time in unlimited quantities. Each room also has a special rug that you can take with you to the beach. Of the minuses: Very weak internet, and equally weak water pressure in the shower. There is no table and chair in the room, since I need to work on a laptop, it was not very convenient. I also didn’t have enough air conditioning, but it’s my fault that I chose a room without air conditioning
