"I stayed in the Akira for a total of 5 nights and I loved every bit of it. Located right at the beach, it is super close to the walking street, perhaps a five minute walk. In fact, you do not need to leave the hotel as the friendly staff (Meeda's team is great) helps you with everything. The facility also features are great restaurant with super affordable prices, plus there is a BBQ every single day just in front at the hotel at the beach front. I had to change rooms twice and saw three rooms of different categories, all of them were clean, spacious, and just great. If I decide to go to Ko Lipe again, Akira - without a second of a doubt - would be my choice."

"I enjoyed my three nights here. It was low season, so the resort wasn't too crowded, but the staff maintained professional standards. Everything smelled so nice - the linens and towels, and the room itself had a fresh fragrance. The cabin was very nicely designed with teakwood. The bathroom was clean and comfortable, and the side door of the bathroom led to an outdoor shower and drying area if you got sandy and wet from outdoor activities. The resort is nearby the walking street, where I went often, and also sports a full service bar and restaurant. On my last day, the staff drove me to the ferry departure site (during low season, the ferry departs on the other side of Pattaya beach)."

"Nice solid bungalow with chairs and table on front porch. No view of the beach from our room, but you can sit in the dining room for the free buffet breakfast and view the beach and the pool! Some breakfast buffet items change daily, but always include eggs, toast, pancakes, sausage, cereals, roti, vegetables and salad, fruit, rice porridge, juice, tea and real espresso and steamed milk. We enjoyed our stay!"

"The hotel's advantages are its location and good breakfast, complete with a coffee machine. However, the rooms are a bit tired and had a slight musty smell. You could leave the AC on when leaving the bungalow; I never turned mine off, and the musty smell wasn't noticeable afterward. The AC blows directly onto the bed, but there's a handy, tall drying rack. I used to hang my clothes on it and place it between the bed and the AC, so the airflow would hit the rack instead."

"We enjoyed our stay in the hostel. It has a good quality-price relationship, it is clean and really well located. The common area is really cool, and they have free drinks (coffee, water, milo) and cookies for everyone.
We were in a double beds dorm for 3 nights, which included 4 beds per room (8 people) and was nice and quite, except for one night when one of the couples in the room came back drunk and was talking loudly and snoring after, but that was not the hostel's fault. The hotel staff kept our luggage after the check out for free.
Wifi connection is good only if you are close to the reception, otherwise you lose it, which is a bit annoying. It is worth knowing that they have a messaging business going on so most of the day there is A LOT of movement on the ground floor next to the reception with people picking up their packages."

"My friend stayed in room G22 on the ground floor, and found it quite good.
1. **Location:** Upon arrival at Pattaya Beach, simply walk left. You can entrust your luggage to the hotel staff and walk over yourself, which saves 10 per person per trip on island transfer fees.
2. The main entrance offers easy access to Walking Street. For Sunset Beach, exit via the back door at the top of the property, turn right, and it's a short walk away.
3. The breakfast spread is excellent and varied, featuring a wide range of options like vegetables, fruits, meats, carbs, milk, and eggs, easily fulfilling your daily dietary needs.
4. We stayed in a garden view room, which offered great value for money. Although it was a bit of a walk to our room at the top of the property, there was a complimentary shuttle service available.
5. While there were some mosquitoes outside the room, we didn't encounter any inside, nor any other insects. The only minor downside was the shower pressure, which was just average; otherwise, everything was great."

"Nice hotel. Great view from the window. But they didn't let us in early, not even a minute. It was exactly 2:00 PM, and after we checked in, there were no towels. We went to reception and they said they'd bring them later, even though we wanted to shower after check-in. And there were tons of ants!!! They were crawling all over the veranda and even into the room, which was really disconcerting.
And the beach next to the hotel is very rocky at the bottom; our feet were hurt. We went to the opposite side of the island, where the water slopes slowly and there are no rocks. The water there is very shallow; to swim, you have to go about 15 meters from the shore."

"This is the best hotel on Koh Lipe! The pool access room is spacious and thoughtfully designed with stylish details. The bed and pillows are incredibly comfortable.
The beach is beautiful, with water colors as stunning as the Maldives or Seychelles. There are two swimming pools, and a DJ plays by the beachfront pool during the day, creating a very pleasant atmosphere.
The food at the restaurant is delicious, and breakfast is excellent with a good variety including cheeses, salmon, and various fruits. Service was a bit slow during the day but improved significantly for dinner.
They offer water activities like kayaks and paddleboards, with the first hour being free.
The gym is small but has all the essential equipment."

"Extremely satisfied with the room! It's spacious, the bed is huge, and there's a swimming pool. The price I got by booking in advance was an absolute steal! Koh Lipe isn't very big, and you can reach a beach with just a short walk. It's perfect for those who don't necessarily need a sea-view room but prefer a private bungalow."

AAnonymous UserVery nice charming small resort with few bungalows. It was my 2nd time at Koh Lipe. Tried different hotels. I’ve booked a garden villa at Bulow Casa. One of the best location on the island, very peaceful, just next to the Zodiac bar which is the spot for sunset. The villas are very comfortable and spacious. I liked the decoration. Free Tuk Tuk until 6 pm and the staff is very kind. However, the service of the restaurant is not at the level we expect for this price. Compared to some other hotels, the reactivity is quite slow… Needed to wait long time for our orders and that, several times. And it wasn’t the peak season yet… wondering how they will manage with a full capacity of the hotel. So I think it needs some little improvements… I’ve not been impressed by the food as well. Good breakfast though. we finished to take our dinner in some other restaurants located more south of the sunrise beach.

The resort itself is a hidden gem nestled in a serene location, providing the perfect setting for a romantic getaway. The well-maintained grounds, lush greenery, and peaceful ambiance contributed to a sense of tranquility that allowed us to truly unwind and connect with nature.

While this incident was unfortunate, it did not overshadow the overall fantastic experience we had at Irene Resort.

TTotsy.daisyWe absolutely loved our stay at Serendipity! Our room, located right at the very top, came with a private pool and offered ultimate privacy — truly a peaceful escape. The beach is tucked away at the far end of Sunrise Beach, making it wonderfully secluded from the crowds and the long-tail boats.
The food was amazing — everything we tried was delicious! We especially loved that breakfast could either be enjoyed at the restaurant or served right to our room for a more relaxing morning.
The staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and always ready to help. Plus, the resort provides free snorkel gear and kayaks for guests who want to explore the beautiful waters nearby.
All in all, it was a superb stay — excellent service, top-notch views, and pure serenity. We loved it to bits and would come back in a heartbeat! 🌴✨

Our room was conveniently located to the right of the lawn, just a 30-meter walk from the restaurant, which offered direct sea views. The rooms here are incredibly spacious and comfortable; I'll definitely book a full week on my next visit! Breakfast was pretty good, with freshly made noodle soup that was very satisfying. During the off-season, they even offer a 10% dining discount voucher. We could bring our fresh catch back from fishing directly to the restaurant to be cooked for 300 Baht per kilogram. It's a decent price; even though it's 50 Baht more expensive than the walking street, I personally feel Benhard Restaurant offers a much better and cleaner environment.

The hotel also has a private beach with a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. It really gave me the chance to fully rest and recharge.
If you’re looking for a place to stay in Lipe, I highly recommend this hotel. Totally worth it, genuinely impressed! Thank you to all the wonderful staff for making my stay so memorable.

The staff are very polite and helpful. Easily contactable through official email to give update about arrival and the reply was fast.
Breakfast is served on the balcony at your preferred time starting from 730am. There is option for halal meal for muslim guests.
The water pressure for the overhead shower is a bit low, but you can use the smaller shower head with tiny holes which gives strong pressure. The water also drains quite slowly at the shower area, which makes it easily flooded. Not sure what's the problem with the draining hole. Hope the management could address the issue (room 205).
Overall, it was a very nice stay and i would definitely come back here again.

GGuest UserLovely part of Lipe, you can do to the water and do snorkeling right away. I got a room near the beach on the first floor. Spacious with all windows so you can make your room quite bright. The problem is you can hear everything than happens on the second floor , it was quite annoying when people came and started walking and it woke me up. Breakfast is so so but eatable. Coffee and tea are free the whole day. One manager was extremely helpful and everytime was coming to ask her she was more than willing to help or solve my problems! I will post her picture here she was really great!

Room is big and spacious, the only thing not good is the water pipe is leakage. The floor is quite oily and I almost fall down for few times. Other than that hotel facility is good, got a welcome drink upon arrival. Free snorkelling glass and kayak.
Breakfast is good too .
Forgot what's the name of the staff at the breakfast bar, but the curly hair boy did a great job serving the breakfast.

The resort was located on sunrise beach- the most beautiful beach in Koh Lipe. The water was crystal clear and many shades of blue.
Breakfast started 7.30 am every morning. The resort also has a bar. The walking street is within walking distance.

GGuest UserThis is a wonderful place to stay if you don't want seafront. It's only a 3 minute walk to the beach if you want to watch the sunrise and five minutes away from Walking Street. The rooms are a generous size and cleaned every day. The place is clean and tidy and staff are always on hand to help with your every need. The pool is cleaned every morning and no restrictions on when you can use it is a plus for me, as I'm up at 6.00 a.m. and can swim for an hour before breakfast. The breakfast itself is simple but adequate - we went at low season so this maybe different at other times. To finish on a positive note there is a pick-up and drop-off service to from and to the ferry terminal - we called it our own Executive Transfer. Those who have experienced this will know what I mean!
