The House of Tulpan (room 101) + Very good location, just behind the main shopping street with all restaurants and cafés, etc. Havaist or Havabus to/from airport stops near the Taksim Square, just few minutes to walk there. + Air-condition in the room. + Free and good Wi-Fi. + Small safety box. + Small refrigerator with freezer (needs to be replaced as it can't be closed fully). + Iron can be found on the first floor "reception". - Bad sound isolation, hear water drains from other rooms, and people walking/talking on the stairs outside the room or above. - TV, but no cable to it for it to work. - No 'Don't disturb sign' to hang outside the door. Maybe should we lock the door fully with the key? - Should be some hooks on the wall to hang up clothes and not only the small closet. +/- No elevator, but we stayed on first floor so it was ok. Code to the entrance, not a hotel with staff standing at reception. This location is very good, near to everything. For 1-2 nights it's ok to stay here, but with family I recommend somewhere else.

A really nice small hotel close to everything. Without any noise although It's behind the main super busy street which all shops cafes etc are... Stuff is very friendly and the owners do whatever they can In order for you to have great time. It's clean and it's value for money... The location is the key for u to have great time.Go for it.

Very charming, the rooms are small but very comfortable, clean, Alexandra is adorable ❤️ Very well located, a stone's throw from Taksim, metro and bus 👍 The only problem encountered is the noise from the neighborhood, the nights are very restless especially on weekends ends, fights, shouting and the man from Otoark speaks loudly even at 4 a.m., too bad because everything else was Top.

I have stayed at this hotel several times, the rooms are not large but very cozy and clean. The hotel staff are very responsive and hospitable. Attentive to requests. Convenient location, close to Taksim Square. I will definitely come back to you again.

My husband and I visited Istanbul from 10/07/2022 to 10/12/2022. Taking into account the difficulties of booking, we no longer hoped to find something suitable at an affordable price and given the difficulties associated with visa cards. I consider ourselves lucky. If your goal is to spend the night calmly and comfortably, in a convenient central location, then this is it. Yes, this is a modest place, but it is exceptional for the money, cleanliness and promptness of information from the hotel owners! There is a comfortable bed with clean linen, a refrigerator, TV, kettle, a working hairdryer and a hot shower. Cleaned every day! Almost no noise was heard from Istiklal, and this is important. The owners are friendly, responsible, decent people, always ready to help. If possible, I will come again.

I called yesterday, agreed on the price and made a reservation. He said, "I can't keep the room waiting until the afternoon, come around 12." I contacted him in the morning to be sure and he said we sold that room online. If we went, we would come back from the door. Be careful, lest they sell the room you booked days ago to someone else and make you suffer.

Terribly pregnant room. Smell like a drain. Very bad. Could hardly breathe in this room. Awful smell. Old smelly curtains and smelly bed linen. They have the nerve to rent something like that. After my complaint they did nothing. They informed Booking that I had not arrived and cancelled my stay to collect the money. Watch out for scammers. I was on the street, looking hard for a hotel.

Excellent hotel, I loved it, very quiet and cozy. It was very easy to process the PCR and the taxi to the airport with them. Alexandra is especially attentive and friendly, as is all her staff, without a doubt, whenever I go to Istanbul, my stay will be at The house of Tulpan! Thanks again for everything. In November of this year I was in Istanbul. My friends, those who had previously been to this cozy hotel, recommended me to stay there. And I did not regret at all that I stayed at The House of Tulpan. What I liked about this hotel is the cleanliness, attention and care of the staff (special thanks to Alexandra and Nezahat H.) + the location of the hotel is very convenient, close to the metro and a 2-minute walk to Taksim Square. I recommend.
