Chose the hotel due to the river view from the room. However, check-in experience was disappointing . Staff came across as inexperienced and arrogant. Front desk tone unfriendly and annoyed when she could not find the booking in the system, stating they were fully booked and did not offer any solutions, despite being shown the hotel booking confirmation. Finally resolved when another colleague assisted. No apology for the delay after.

The location and service are both excellent. The Hunchun Street Night Market is just outside the door. It is said that it just opened on May Day, so the road will be closed at night. The very famous Xinxing Park is within walking distance, and the riverside can be reached in two minutes by going downstairs. The hotel building may not be very new, and there will be a bit of smell if the window is not opened for a long time, but the decoration is still new. At first, I thought there would be an electric toilet lid, but after checking in, I found that there was no electric toilet lid. The facilities are deducted one point mainly because the room will have a bit of odor if the window is not opened for a long time. Maybe it is because the building is a bit old? The restaurant on the sixth floor can see the Songhua River, but it should not be possible to see the river view in every room. There are rich breakfast varieties, and breakfast ends at 11 o'clock on holidays, so there is no need to worry about not having food to eat when you arrive at the restaurant after 10 o'clock. The service is really enthusiastic, responsive, and there are robots to deliver things.

The room is clean and bright, the hotel decoration is quite new, and the bedding is relatively clean. I booked the most basic room type and didn't sign up as a member until I got to the front desk. It would be more cost-effective to call the front desk directly and book a better room type at a discounted price. You should be able to get a better room type for the same price. The breakfast is very good. There are several delicious snacks, including freshly cooked noodles and wontons. There are also a lot of fruits. I came down late and there are not many fruits, but some are delicious. There is also coffee. Skim milk and yogurt are great value in my opinion. Eating out is not as clean as eating in a hotel. Sifangshun is a well-established hotel nearby. You can have a meal once in a while, but it is a bit greasy. I recommend Atour for breakfast. By the way, there is an activity area in the hotel lobby, where you can work and relax online. The Internet speed in the room is also good, so you can work and relax. The corridor was very quiet, and no one yelled in the morning or evening. I guess Shizune was doing a good job. I will choose Atour next time I come to Jilin, and I will give priority to Atour when traveling to Yunnan in September.

This is a very good hotel. My mother and two babies are very happy. The hotel rooms are very luxurious, much better than the hotels of the same price in the south. The service quality, especially Wang Bing from the front office, made us feel at home. She was very enthusiastic and explained clearly all the questions we didn't understand.
