"A huge thanks to Jing at the front desk – actually, the entire front desk team was fantastic and very friendly. The hotel lobby is absolutely stunning, it really impressed me. The location is excellent, and the facilities are great too. My only disappointment was the breakfast on the second floor. The decor felt so old and outdated, I almost thought I'd walked into a different establishment, like a guest house. The food itself was also very mediocre, which was a shame."

"Good hotel if you are visiting Jilin for a holiday, as it is well-located for getting to Beishan Park and the Songhua River, just a five minute walk either way. However, it’s about a 15 minute drive from the station / city centre. Just be aware that the address on Trip.com emails seems to confuse taxi drivers, so you can tell them that it’s next to the Jilin Mosque instead. Rooms are small, but clean and functional. Service is good and the staff are helpful. The breakfast is tasty, although the coffee machine can only make one kind of coffee. Overall, very reasonable for the price."

"The price was significantly inflated during the Chinese New Year period. My child had a high fever during our stay, and when we first sought help from the front desk, they were extremely unprofessional, claiming not to know anything. For a hotel costing over 4000, I find this level of service awareness unacceptable. Fortunately, the duty manager later provided excellent assistance. The soundproofing is very poor. The room itself was quite tidy and clean, and the housekeeping staff were very diligent. It's very close to the ski resort, which is convenient for skiing."

"My stay at Zhan Yun Hotel far exceeded my expectations, it definitely deserves a full five-star review. The front desk staff, Zhang Chi and Liu Chang, were incredibly polite and processed my check-in quickly. They proactively offered information about local attractions and breakfast times. The room was spotless, with no stains in corners or the bathroom. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the room had excellent soundproofing – I couldn't hear any noise from the hallway. Any requests I made online were promptly addressed, and the delivery robot was very efficient. Plus, the mini-bar drinks were complimentary. The overall service was attentive and thoughtful, without being intrusive, balancing privacy with personalized care. This will be my top choice for future trips and I'll definitely book here again."

"I frequently stay at budget hotels, but I rarely leave reviews. However, I absolutely have to review this particular Hanting – it's the best one I've ever stayed at. The hotel has actually been open for quite some time, so I initially thought the facilities would be old. But once I entered, it felt like a brand new hotel! The overall layout is very comfortable, and it was completely quiet at night. Although it's not huge, everything is spotless, which made for a very pleasant stay. What surprised me most was that every room features an original piece of art. These paintings are a collaborative effort with students from the Central Academy of Fine Arts – a cross-industry partnership! That creative artwork really enhanced the entire room. I genuinely felt much happier just by looking at it every evening. The front desk even has traditional Northeastern padded coats for photo opportunities, and the lighting throughout the hotel, both at reception and in the rooms, is very pleasant. Overall, I found my stay extremely comfortable. My mom felt a great vibe from the moment she stepped in. We later stayed at other Hanting hotels, but none of them were as good as this one."

Excellent value for money! Highly recommended!! I'll definitely stay here again next time."
