Hotels in Wanda International Vacation Resort, Jinghong

The service was excellent - especially Ms. Veina (Head of reception/guest relations). Ms. Veina is not only a very charming and helpful person, but she really tried to make my trip a very special one. No request was too much for her, she always showed a true sense of hospitality and provided very professional service. Also the breakfast team was very accommodating and supportive - a really nice, young and enthusiastic team. Many thanks for a fantastic stay! I certainly will try to return again soon.

We have been visiting the Pullman Resort during our Golden Week Holiday. The hotel was quite empty despite the festival season. We also know the Pullman in Sanya Bay well and were somewhat disappointed of the one in Xishuangbanna. Overall, the hotel was way too expensive for the provided quality and services, we cannot recommend it. Pro: The hotel has been a nice choice due to its rooms in good conditions but nothing “special”. + The location is a bit outside of Jinghong - so it’s quiet and green, you can do nice small walks in the area of the resort + Since it wasn’t full, you could easily get some space during breakfast + The breakfast was quite nice (but monotonous after 3 days). + Very nice of the breakfast staff: in the last morning they provided us some bacon since the children were looking for it Cons: General: - The service level was not good at many places of the hotel: - No English speaking staff in the hotel. Especially at the reception it’s a big disadvantage - No shuttle service to public spaces - In the area are not many shops or restaurants and at least many were closed during our stay (maybe because of Golden Week) - The outside breakfast area is not nice and you are more or less forced to sit inside due to pest control during morning - The intensity of pest control was terrible; every day they sprayed somewhere in the hotel chemicals. During the morning the garden was fully covered in smog of chemicals and you cannot go outside; even inside the breakfast area you could smell it; one day in the afternoon the entrance street to the street was fully covered with smog and it was almost impossible to walk through there, due to pest control the whole garden is literally dead, don’t expect nice butterflies or dragonflies - it’s all gone (see the first picture) The pool service is poor for many reasons: - You cannot order any food or drink at the pool; - They don’t have any seat mattresses/cover, you have to sit on the blank chairs - The number of seats at the pool is very limited, even when the hotel was not full, not every person could get a seat - The sunshade umbrellas are useless as they cannot be moved or changed and their direction does not protect well against the sun - The requirement to wear a swimming cap is strange and everyone needed to buy one… Overall: We cannot recommend the hotel for higher price, if you get it for low price it’s a good deal but look for some alternative if you can.

The hotel is located in the old city, very close to the Manmai Market I want to go to. I basically take a taxi when I go out. There is a bus stop at the door, but I have never taken it. The girl at the front desk is from my hometown and is very enthusiastic. The big bathtub makes the children very happy. When I booked, it was shown that there was a swimming pool at the bottom of the building. We played outside every day and did not go up to see it. The biggest disadvantage is probably that the balcony faces other people's doors, which is basically equivalent to having no balcony. However, we played outside except for sleeping. If you mind, please tell the front desk in advance. It is very convenient to order takeout in the surrounding area. And the food is more authentic than Gaozhuang. After 4 pm, you must go to the nearby Manmai! If you have the opportunity to go to Xishuangbanna again, you must choose a hotel here, not staying in Gaozhuang.

The hotel overall is very good and the price/performance ratio is very high. The National Day premium is not high either. Although I only stayed for one night, the room was quite big and clean. There is a swimming pool, and there are children playing there. As for the service, I still feel that it needs to be improved a little bit. It's a bit chaotic. Maybe there are too many people staying? Overall, the pick-up service was pretty good. The pick-up guy was also very helpful. He arrived early and was waiting for us. Have recommended to friends.

There is also a good place to take a bath, the water pressure is very sufficient, than other hotels in Xishuangbanna. The hotel is not a new one. It used to be a holiday rainforest hotel. Now it can be found. The same hotel has two names on the platform. It seems that the hotel has been renovated before, and some furniture and appliances should still be the same. Banna hotels are generally too expensive during the Spring Festival. It is more convenient for a family to book a suite. It is biased towards a homestay hotel. It does not need to be measured by the standard of an ordinary hotel. It is OK to use it as a short-term rental. Facilities: Most of them can, the air conditioner will drip after a long time. The hot water takes a long time to release, and it is still hot enough after release. The room details description is inaccurate, and there is a bathroom. Hygiene: Hygiene is almost a little bit, and the corners are dusty. During the stay, I will probably clean it every day and clean up the garbage. Environment: The location is OK, suitable for self-driving, parking downstairs is also convenient, and many Northeast restaurants around also have stew barbecue. Service: quite satisfactory

When traveling with children, hotels are mainly booked based on heated swimming pools. The hotel mainly receives group tourists. The hotel has a good lobby orientation. Outside the room window is another building, less than 6 meters away, so you can't see outside. The building view room is a bit remote, with few places to eat. The delivery fee for delicious takeout is more than 10 yuan. The location is not ideal for me with kids. The hotel bathroom had a bit of a sewer smell, so I turned on the ventilation all night. A bit noisy. There were some stains on the shower head which had not been cleaned. The heated swimming pool is good, the temperature is suitable for children. The shallow water area and the deep water area are separated, which is safer. There is also a children's play area, which is very child-friendly, but there are not enough children living there, and the children feel a little lonely because they have no one to play with. The breakfast is a bit average and the price is quite high.

Also, close to the airport and Banna Station, it is very convenient to go to Manting Park. There are freezers and water dispensers on the first floor, the room size is OK, there are small restaurants and vegetable markets downstairs, there is a stew barbecue.

I am very satisfied with the room. It is large and clean. There is a washing machine on the balcony which is very convenient. The boss is very nice and recommended us places to eat and play in the surrounding area. I will recommend it to my friends.
